WIP Weekly October Event

Title: (Im)Mortal (click for "glorious" master post)

Summary: High school junior Helouise Nevaeh Pierceman had always been the type to only keep to herself and only hung out with her cousin, Cassidy Jones, and her boyfriend Ramero. Life as she knew it was admittedly weird, but simple and quiet with the one rule her parents asked her to never break: NEVER take off her shades for anyone. It soon became evident that she wasn’t an average human herself as her powers had awakened, and she wants nothing more but to continue living a simple, quiet life.

Then one choice leads to another, and soon she finds herself in magical restraints and at risk of being killed. Before she could do anything, she's suddenly saved by a mysterious classmate.

Now a member of a mercenary group, she learns the reason why her mother always told her to be slow to trust someone, and to never take off her shades. They're wanted by the Upper Council because of the power that they hold. The council fear that they may become stronger than the council themselves, fear that they may become gods.

With secrets being brought out into the light, betrayals coming from those she thought she could trust, and her life on the line, will Helouise be able to live the normal life she wants, or will she become what the council fears most?

Helouise Nevaeh Pierceman: 16-year-old teenager who enjoys spending time with her pet fox, Skyla, reading books, and hanging with her friends Cassidy Jones and Mallory O’Neil. She enjoys going out to eat, but is wary of ingredients due to her peanut allergy. She is headstrong, reserved but friendly once you get to know her, and can also be a bit impatient at times. Helouise goes to Easthaven High School, where her favourite subjects are English and Journalism, but hates all things math related and P.E. with a fiery passion.

Zane Masters: co-leader of the seventh’s generation of the King’s Trinity, known as the Second King. The Second King serves as an embodiment of knowledge and resources. The most charming of the Kings, gathering intel and making deals are his strong suits. He has left the King’s Trinity once before because of an accident that almost took his life.
