Blue Blood

What a song. I love the militaristic, soldier undertones, the seriousness melded with the same musical themes from Eleven. It’s the sort of song that kicks in your core and rewrites your heartbeat, but in a focused, calmed beat. 

I Am

I love. Powerful elegance, angular black-and-white with golden rivulets, expensive heiress with all the ambitions of the world in her designer jacket. The best part? I love that each member has their assigned part, where their skills and vocal personalities are highlighted, and a pretty decent line distribution dang! The music video is stunning, the cinemetography, the solo shots, the character, yes! I love!

Kitsch

The video didn’t do it for me, although all the challenge clips I’ve seen from it are cute. This song was the sort I didn’t expect to like after the first listen, especially with the chorus, but man, the addiction to this one is real. There were no powerful vocal moments to draw me, but the sass, looking down their nose as they bounce in the club, is a vibe I didn’t realize I would love as much as I do. And Rei and Gaeul write their raps! Go off~!

Lips

There are several songs on this album where I thought “Twice, that’s a Twice mood” and this one was Alcohol Free on my first couple of listens. But it’s waaaay more laid back, it’s basking in a hammock on a private island beach, while the attention is a full ocean away trying to look at you through binoculors while you mock them. Very chill, very cute.

Heroine

I didn’t expect this song to go the way it did, but I love it for the way it does. You expect a harder hitting, powerful anthem with that title and IVE singing it. But it’s almost a tribute to femininity-- flowered and softer but no less full in itself. Written by my girl Yujin, I just had to look up the lyrics and they do not fall short. Yujin wrote a strong, female lead, at the stand of a courtroom and needing no one else to tell her she holds the power. She wears her heels and does her thing, and is the hero in all the little big ways of her life. 

Mine

Here’s another song that made me go “Twice!” ...But then we got to the chorus. And it’s like a schoolyard, petal picking girl who daydreams her comic-fantasy where everything swirls in the center of her palm. I saw it was written by Wonyoung, and something about the lyrics is the sort of childish that leads into the twirling, insistent declarations, feels very much like the Wonyoung that grew out of Iz*One into IVE

섬찟 (Hypnosis)

Was one of my favs on the first listens. I had to keep rewinding and relistening whenever I was interrupted. I love the piano pounding in the back that opens, that blends into a darker, snake dancing out of the basket mood, undermined in metallic sounds and taunting in the vocal styles. Gaeul and Rei writing their raps, and they do not fall flat. The song writers let them finish the song off with a statement, and it’s you on the ground as they walk pass. 

NOT YOUR GIRL

And that’s my other “Twice” vibes song. Through and through though, this song is so fun and youthful and cheerful. Gaeul and Rei write their raps again in this one, and I think I’m sensing a writing style for them (which is exciting,  ngl, love that~!)

Nothing outstanding about this one in my head, except the melding of the beats with melodies and vocals that made me think this could be at the back of an anime, or a sequence in a drama. Rei and Gaeul’s raps leading up as the prechorus is a power move, I love. 

Cherish

This is Disney romantics spun in urban fantasies. Chill lofi sounds mixed with a little pixie dust. Chill, sweet, darling. 

Shine With Me

This song comes right out of the gate with it’s OST emotions. In the rain, as it clears and leaves diamond-tears of starlight in it’s wake. Another Wonyoung written tribute to simple love, that makes me feel like it’s a song for the stage, for them to all turn to each other and sing to each other. (Or maybe make it a fan song, I don’t know, something about this chorus is very big stage, lights to the sky, phone-lights back and forth, crowd clapping and swaying.)

All in all, Ive has my attention. They have it with both hands, eyes glued, breath held as they bedazzle in their classy bedazzlement.

Currently Reading: Started on William Joyce's Jack Frost: The End of the Beginning from the Guardians of Childhood series. Having caught up on The Locked Tomb and Critical Role's Kith & Kin, a good preteen fantasy series as a light snack before jumping into another adult novel or series is nice.

I don't mind at all these are super fun questions!!!

A) Techno is the hardest to write by FAR. It's not that I don't watch his content or anything, I do! I really love him as a cc and think he's hilarious. I just struggle so much with how to characterize c!techno. Where to draw the line between humor and seriousness and how he talks about emotions—I overthink writing him so much lmao. Easiest character is definitely Tommy though, he's my boy

B) Aww that's cute that you guys think I write drafts /lh. I basically will have the plot for a chapter or fic outlined in loose bullet points, and then I just go through and write it from start to finish. Not all at once usually, but I go in chronological order and don't skip around. And I don't write multiple drafts or anything. While I might go back and add a few lines here and there or reword a sentence or two, nearly everything you see written is what I wrote down on my first run through. I don't have the patience to go back and heavily edit so I just write it as best I can the first time around and that's what we get. I almost never start over either. I think one of the only times I came close to starting something over was when I was writing vanderlyle, I ended up writing a huge chunk of the first bookstore scene with Wilbur and Tommy meeting and deleted nearly the entire thing because the tone wasn't right and it was messing me up trying to move forward. Also, sometimes I listen to music that's instrumental like movie soundtracks or lofi beats, on rare occasions I can listen to music with lyrics while i write but I have to be really focused, and sometimes I just write in total silence it really depends on my mood

C) Wilbur is my favorite to write hands down. I definitely think a bit more about characterizing him properly when I'm writing him vs Tommy, but I just love c!wilbur as a character so much. He's so complex and has so many facets to him, it's really fun to pick and choose which part of him I want to highlight in each of my works. And again I'd say Techno is my least favorite character to write mainly because of how difficult it is for me to write him

D) I definitely try to comprehend the numbers, but y'know how our cc's often say it's really hard to conceptualize the huge number of viewers they get? it's like that with my fics. It's so strange to sit there and try to comprehend that there have been over a million clicks on clinic. It's very strange to try and picture ~4500 people in a room and know that that many people get emails whenever I post literally anything, not just a specific fic. It's mind boggling to comprehend that at it's peak, over 10k people got an email every time I updated clinic. I struggle to even picture 1000 people in a room, let alone that many. so yeah, I don't really comprehend it most of the time, but I try my best to keep things in perspective because I'm so grateful to have the audience I have

E) hm, I don't know if I'd want to write mcyt fanfiction solely for a career for the rest of my life. my interests shift, and tbh mcyt is a fandom I've stuck around in for one of the longest periods of time, which is surprising since I've been fandom hopping since 2015. I would hate to get stuck creating fanfic solely for a singular fandom, and even if I had the opportunity to switch fandoms, I don't know if I'd want to be restricted creating fan content, y'know? My dream is to be a published author with original novels, so while I don't know if I'd wanna write fanfic for a living, I definitely know I want to write for a living :) It's been my dream since I was a little kid

First Meeting

It was a calm morning in the local cafe. I was sitting alone at a table drinking my coffee while reading through a big educational college level textbook on psychology. As I’m doing this, I’m listening to some lofi hip hop music on my silver bose wireless headphones with the music streaming from my phone. After a few hours, I finish drinking my coffee. I decide to stretch my legs for a bit and go for a walk in the park. I pay the bill with my debit card and I get ready to leave. I put my card back in my wallet and I put it back in my bag, but unbeknownst to me, my driver’s license falls out as I do so. I leave the cafe and I head to my car. I unlock the door with my keys and I go to open the door. But before I can open the door I feel someone tap my shoulder. I remove my headphones and I put them around my neck. I turn around, and much to my surprise, a robot that’s about 5 feet in height is standing in front of me. Something about this guy gives off a strong cop vibe, because his structure is modeled after a police officer, and his eyes are covered by a pair of dark shades. I notice the robot is holding something in his hand.

“Excuse me Miss, but you dropped this.” I look at the item in his hand. To my surprise, it’s my driver’s license. My license. Did I drop this? I must have. I think to myself. I take the license from the robot’s outstretched hand. I put my license into my wallet which then goes back in my bag. I look back at the robot who returned my license with a small smile.

“Thank you, uh...” I trail off realizing I don’t know who this robot is.

“Tobot Sergeant Justice, at your service Ma’am.” Sergeant Justice says with a respectful salute. As he does this, his visor flashes as if he were winking at me. This causes me blush slightly. 

“Thank you Sergeant Justice.” Sergeant Justice nods in acknowledgement. 

“Tell me, what is your name?” Sergeant Justice asks.

“My name is Angelina, Angelina Ning Sotiriou.” I reply. 

“That’s a very pretty name for a pretty girl like you Angelina.” I blush again, and the blush is more visible now.

“Oh, uh, thanks. Well, I better get going now, you have a great rest of your day Sergeant.”

“Of course, you too, Angel.” Sergeant Justice says with a respectful nod. Then Sergeant Justice does something completely unexpected. He takes my hand, brings it up to his face and he ever so gently kisses the top of it. His visor flashes immediatley afterwards. He looks at me with a warm and kind smile. Did Sergeant Justice just kiss my hand? And did he just call me Angel? At this point, I’m blushing like crazy. I kind of like the sound of that coming from him though. Sergeant Justice seems pretty nice. He watches me get into my car and pull out of my parking spot. I drive away and I start heading over to the park. I can see Sergeant Justice seeing me off in the rear view mirror. He watches me drive off, his warm smile still on his face. He was hoping he would be able to see me again some day, thinking I was a person worth getting to know. 

And fortunately, his wish was granted. A month later, Sergeant Justice was at the park with some other Tobots, and I happened to be there too. Sergeant Justice sees me walking by him a few feet away, and he waves to me with a smile. I see him waving and I return the gesture. I notice his friends with him and I wave to them. 

A beautiful friendship was about to begin...

In case you’re wondering what show this character comes from, it’s a Korean CGI cartoon animated robot themed show called Tobot Galaxy Detectives. I decided to write a first meeting scenario with my favorite tobot character, Sergeant Justice. I also wrote another scenario where I meet Sergeant Justice again and I meet the rest of the Tobots.

Alright so for starters, I'm an infp! I'm a generally well-mannered person with people I meet for the first time, borderline sweet and awkward at the same time. I like not to overinvest in first meetings with people and sometimes I think I am somewhat defensive of myself. My emotions always show on my face, both the good and the bad ones. So if someone does say something that I find offensive or whatnot, it SHOWS. I generally hate rude and offensive people all together, as well as people who are vulgar if we're not well acquainted first.

I'm not good at starting conversations and I usually just tend to listen to my friends talk most of the time. It's not like I have nothing to say but I really like listening to my favorite people ramble on about things they love or generally talk about their lives. Im a pretty good listener and I am always objective, even with my family. I won't hold back and I will give you my honest opinion in every case. I always try to see from all perspectives, maybe that's why I'm often somewhat indecisive.

That being said, I really don't shut up about things I love or my hobbies. I'm usually the mood maker of the group as I hate conflict and tension. I am a very sarcastic and cynical person in general and that reflects on my humor, which can vary from vulgar to very dark and inappropriate. Yes, the type of person that will try to hold in their laughter cause I made a mental joke to a funeral. I love witty, stimulating and deep conversations. I'm not that big on casual chitchat but it's okay most of the time I guess.

I'm the personification of open-minded and im also quite opinionated and I can back up my arguments if needed but I tend to avoid getting into heated conversations cause again, my mind reads it as tension. I love being around friends doing nothing and everything but most of the time, I find alone time to be very healing for my mind and soul. I find authenticity and weird little quirks that people have extremely attractive. I'm somewhat stubborn as well.

I also used to have stress and anxiety issues, not anything serious but enough that I had trouble sleeping at night. It was just a few years ago that I decided to not care about every single thing and have a more of a "fuck that" approach in life and honestly, I've never imagined that it would be so liberating. I regained my confidence, physically and mentally, it was an empowering process! I really do believe that self-exploring and healing is the no1 most important thing that someone can do. Love yourself first and foremost and fck what anybody thinks.

So, moving on xD I am a romantic and soft deep down, even though I try not to show sad emotions when around people. But you can be sure I cry at random rescuing dog videos, or videos with people helping each other. I love humanity but hate it at the same time? 😂 Idk if that makes sense, it is what I feel lol I love to learn new random stuff! I'm currently studying linguistics and uni and I aim to be a translator or interpreter, cause i love languages and the cultural differences that come with it. Hence my undying love for music of different genres and languages! Music relaxes me and I couldn't imagine going on without it for more than 3 days. While I do tend to listen to kpop which is more upbeat and experimental, I also LOVE Latin music and rock. I love love traveling around the world! My hobbies include drawing which I'm self taught, fashion and creative writing! I tend to daydream A LOT during the day and so many ideas pop up in my head. I love exploring other cultures' religions and beliefs as well as mythology. I always found it fascinating. I love plants as well! My room is basically a garden xD I also love mystical but also borderline creepy and gory stuff xD I call skulls "pretty" the same way I would call a puppy "cute" 🤣 I'm aware οf that but I can't help but enjoy the look of horror in people's faces xD

oh, I really enjoy observing people as well! Not in a weird way! Their mannerisms, the way they speak, their features. I also love thriller and horror movies the most as well as dark social drama ones. You know, with murders, suicides etc I like how in even the tiniest ways they depict our society as people and frankly, it's sad but I try to be optimistic and keep a positive approach in life. I also really appreciate stand-up comedy xD

Closing up this huge essay, some last things xD I, and I cannot stress this enough, am unable to flirt. Like at all. I can't even maintain eye contact for more than two Seconds. I wish I was kidding. Sadly I'm not 😂Weird thing is, turns out I am actually able to flirt but I'm not aware I'm doing it?? I'm a master at text flirting apparently lololol. What I am, is also called DENSE AS SHIT when it comes to couple things. True story, if you want to do the freaky with your s/o and you need me to leave the room you better TELL ME RIGHT TO MY FACE or else, we gon be there aaaaall night xD And its actually a remarkable feature of mine, considering how dirty minded I usually am lol

I also think I'm touch starved sometimes, like I really like hugs and cuddling and teasing but I'm not gonna ask for it🥺I'm a night owl and I tend to procrastinate a lot. I can't work efficiently if there's not a deadline, like I need that pressure on me in order to function xD My weak spot is actually to act whiny and needy and cutely in front of me. I can do ANYTHING that u ask me of when this happens. And if I show any resistance, JUST KEEP IT UP. I'm jelly on the floor when this happens. Idfk why, it just works?? My sister is abusing the sht out of this method 😭I can't say I make friends easily, cause I believe I do come off as maybe off-putting or weird at times, plus as I said if you're really cant shove your conversation in my face the first time we meet, imma be just an awkward ball of giggles and smiles and "can I go home now pls" 🤣 My general aesthetic / vibes would be sunsets on beaches, soft grunge, cottage core, lofi and hedge witch aesthetics!

Hey Anon! I wrote this as ‘do they like the things Anon listed’, I hope this is what you wanted and are happy with it! :)

America: Since jazz has its origins in the US, America is a big fan of it. He knows a few basic rhythms and tunes so would be happy to play them for his s/o if they’d like him to (although he’s more into the upbeat stuff, so it may not fully fit in with their chill vibe). He may not be too interested in poetry, but would love to look at the artwork his s/o produced!

Canada: Canada would love that vibe as he shares a lot of similar interests! He’d be a fan of lofi so would love to exchange recommendations. In addition, he’d be interested in looking through his s/o’s poetry and artwork if they were willing to let him, and would be keen to give them compliments on his favourite parts.

England: England likes to stick to his roots with music, so probably wouldn’t be too interested in that until he hears one song which he cannot get out of his head, so would ask his s/o for the name and would become a fan of a few similar artists. When his s/o is chilling out, he’d suggest they put a few of them on. He’s also a big fan of certain poetry genres so would exchange a few of his pieces (that he isn’t embarrassed to share with the world) with them.

France: YES. France would appreciate all of these! He’s a lover of good poetry and artwork so would be honoured if his s/o let him see their works, and would suggest a few similar poets/artists for inspiration if they were in an art slump/writer’s block. China: China would be really keen to see his s/o’s artwork and poetry, especially if his culture had any influence in their work. I don’t see him as being a huge jazz fan (although I imagine America has taken a lot of nations to a jazz bar in the past) but after seeing his s/o listening to a lofi playlist online with cute artwork (like the study/relax playlist on YT), he’d be curious and would end up enjoying it! 

Russia: Russia is a crafty nation evidenced by his knitting. Even if he wasn’t a huge fan of drawing and painting, he’d appreciate the art his s/o did! Jazz and lofi would not be the first genre’s he’d pick himself but he’d be courteous enough to listen if he overheard the music his s/o was playing.

i use barbara a lot in the fire domains and with the pyro regisvine!! it’s kinda funny that i’m bringing a level 40 into a level 70+ fight LOL but yeah she’s good! I started this blog to start actually blogging alongside my journey of becoming a writer and editor. So, I really should start blogging. Ya know?

This week has been pretty good so far honestly. I discovered new music, while studying. I was listening to cute Japanese lofi when I came across LilyPichu. I used to watch Lily play games on twitch, but I stopped playing games myself so I haven't kept up with her. But I heard her song Dreamy Night, and oh my gosh, I am like literally obsessed right now. I've had it on repeat for a few days now, especially while writing. I love the vibes and the background music.

Besides finding LilyPichu on spotify, I've been practicing my Japanese again, and forcing myself to study every day. I feel like I've made so much progress just focusing on learning simple phrases. I met a few new Japanese friends to practice with. It has been pretty hard to find common time with the time difference, but Its been going well. I'm helping them further their English skills while they help me with my Japanese.

On another topic, I've been studying really frequently for my college classes. I made a really good grade on a quiz that I was pretty nervous about. I wrote a paper and I'm awaiting feedback, but I think it went really well. I've been writing more recently and started a journal. I really enjoy goodnotes and I'm pretty obsessed with the cute stickers on etsy, lol. I've bought way too many honestly.

Update #16

Let's Recap

Okay so what happened. I never explained why I was suddenly riding in trains and what not. First of all I lost access to my blog. All of it. The password recovery thingy didn't work. And since I'm the only administrator...I could still browser all my updates(luckily) and the whole site, just not the back-end. So I couldn't keep you guys updated. So while I was thinking of a solution I kept writing in notepad and just kept the updates on my pc until I got my blog back. Because the train ride to the city is just long enough write one of these. I think I wrote the last three updates on my pc. And a lot has happened in the meantime.

The Musician Cynnatra

The Cynnatra Youtube is no more. Well it's still there but I have no access to it. I did kept the logo but the rest I changed. I'm now called "Mingu5" after Charles Mingus the Legend. If you like Jazz you should listen to Moanin' from Mingus. But yeah Mingu5. (The name is okay but I like Cynnatra more.) I made a Youtube and Soundcloud page. The Youtube Channel is still empty. I want to make video's in the style of Majestic Casual. Just a Picture with my logo and name. Or maybe a gif ? Don't know. And I have a soundcloud page. I have posted 3 Lofi Hip Hop tracks and one pop track. I currently have like 8 followers. *little scream of joy* After my Youtube channel is up and running. I will start promoting my music on everything

Is also no more. I changed the name to "hack-everything". It's still about Cyberpunk. I have reblogged 120 pictures and now have 10 followers or so. Ermmm not really anything to say about that. Besides that I now use the pictures as reference for the game I'm making. More about the game later.

Work Work Work

I just applied for my first real job. Even though you can count working in a chocolate factory as a real job. It's not going to shine on your resume. So my first real job. It's just a catering job. I will be serving people but more on events instead of the traditional restaurants. Meaning hotels, festivals even schools. And a lot of weddings too they said. Actually, I'm already hired. But the thing is that I need to pay a fuckton of money to buy the official uniform. Because we all need to look the same. Also being shaved every time you need to work. Freshly showered, nice perfume. All the good stuff. They really emphasized the "all the same" part. But like really. I'm now riding home. I'm not sure my mother will like the idea to pay a fuckton of money. But they pay you back. A small portion each time your work. On top of your salary of course. I calculated that I need to work about 80 hours to get it back. It pays well that's also important. Ermmmm...Very flexible. I don't need to work in the weekends if I can't. I and 4 other people were there for the job. I think we al got hired so you will probably here more about them later on.

Weird Panda stuff

Also Spacepanda and Tiger are not together any more ????????????? Like ??????? I didn't saw it coming, no one did. Not even Panda. It's really weird. Really weird. Like weird but than really........ They were so alike tho. But not like clones or anything. You know those clone couples. Every time I see them I think "this is bound to go wrong". Maybe because they are both stubborn or lazy or ambitious. Whatever. It will go wrong. But not with Spacepanda and Tiger. They complimented each other.(Like purple and yellow) They often liked different things (way different) but that was alright because it meant they could invest in each other you know ? Share different things. But they had this 'same ground' were they could be together. Only them. And now. *Poof* done. Well not *poof* done because the first thing I did was meeting up with Panda and she kinda explained everything.I can't talk about it publicly online but I can tell you It wasn't *poof* done but it's kinda *poof* done. Weird man....

I feel like I'm not giving you the weirdness of the situation. Let me try again. First, they were together for almost 2 years. They were super cute. Like super duper cute. Of course they had fights like in most relationships but not those which lasted weeks before getting resolved. Not every single fight was healthy and benevolent for the relation but 'hey' it's a fight after all. And you didn't hear about it.That's the weird thing. It wasn't like Panda was like pissed of for a week because Tiger was being an asshole or that Tiger asking me if Panda was alright because something was wrong. Or maybe they were both very discreet about it. Could also be. The thing is, everything seemed fine. Emphasize on seemed. SpacePanda was the only one with a decent relation to be honest. No of the others held a relation. None of the boys. If have no idea how Blueberry is doing. But she was the one with the serious relationship. I think every group has one. It's that I don't see her with anyone else you know ? Can't imagine. Only them. I'm in the train again. But not for long since I almost arrived. So I have to go. Thank you for listening.
