Um dos principais desafios será a implantação oficial de ações no metaverso. Uma parceria com o Grupo Vex – que nasceu há cerca de 8 anos como uma startup integrada ao Programa de Incubação do Instituto Gene e hoje é uma empresa referência nacional em realidade virtual e acessibilidade digital – está tornando possível este novo projeto. “O projeto já está em fase final e a ideia é proporcionar a navegação virtual pelos projetos e negócios instalados aqui no centro de inovação”, comenta o presidente do CIB, professor Udo Schroeder. Este projeto, segundo ele, é uma alternativa a um outro projeto necessário e também urgente: a ampliação do espaço físico. “Estamos com fila de espera de negócios que querem estar aqui no CIB e precisamos focar nossa atenção na construção de um novo prédio”, destaca. Udo observa que já existe um projeto para este segundo prédio, elaborado em parceria com a startup Xlam Engineering do Brasil que também participou do Programa de Incubação e que atua na concepção de projetos estruturais em madeira sustentável. O projeto prevê 5 andares com a construção no terreno onde atualmente é o estacionamento principal: a obra partiria do estacionamento que ficaria coberto. Um outro desafio é a parceria com a Fapesc que contemplou o CIB com equipamentos e móveis para a instalação de um laboratório maker. A parceria está em fase de licitação e o CIB já avançou na concepção do projeto que ocupará o porão do prédio. A previsão de entrega do novo espaço será o segundo semestre de 2024. Na lista de novos projetos está ainda a implantação de um portal único para o ecossistema local e regional, em uma parceria com o Sebrae. Retrospectiva 2023 - Programa Conecta AMVE encerra 2023 com 53 embaixadores de inovação distribuídos em 11 municípios.
