This was just my gut reaction to Malos' line. I get what they were goin for with his character and it was executed well enough.

Y'know how the father, son and holy spirit are all God but not Each Other? That's Pyra and Mythra

Stayed at the inn in Torigoth and Zeke von Genbu, chaotic bringer of chaos, hit up Rex asking him to do a heart to heart on top of the tower watching over the city.
Went up there and the game told me I needed Pyra in the party.
This was during chapter 7, Pyra was by definition not in the party.

I know they’re technically Welsh but I drew it anyway since they’re one of very few canon queer character in Xenoblade

It’s really fascinating that I’ve seen and played two games where there’s a Scottish lady that dual wields weapons that starts as an enemy and joins the team later on.

The scene building up to Pneuma's reveal was so beautiful it actually made me tear up
and then my immersion was hit by a truck 😭

More Xenoblade 2 Spoilers:
I love how Pyra just tells Rex that he reminds Mythra of their old Driver, and then immediately remarks that Mythra probably wouldn't have wanted her to tell him that.
There are some pieces of media, like Moon Knight, that give you the impression that the singlets who wrote it did a lot of research into systems.
Xenoblade 2 nails the more subtle aspects of plurality so well that it feels like it could only have been written by a system. Because yes, sharing a brain with someone means that sometimes you're just going to blab out their innermost secrets. 🤷♀️
Edit: found the clip! Yay YouTube!

Replaying Torna in sort of preparation for Xenoblade 3, and it’s interesting how much they hype up the power of Blade Eaters, even implying they could be stronger than Flesh Eaters.
And then in the base game Amalthus gives that exact same power to a rebellious adventurer chuuni prince with terrible luck. To save his life, but still.
The joke is that Zeke is honest-to-god one of the strongest characters in the story, but he’s so much of a goof that you really don’t realise it.

Thank you, and now I look forward to playing XBC2 for her after I finish XBC1 (I already knew those spoilers just didn't know the context was trans-coded which is cool as hell)
i am so so sorry for what you're going to experience. xb2 is hands down the worst in the series. parts of it are amazing and other parts make me want to grab and shake whoever wrote it until they vomit.
nia is great though and honestly the party in 2 overall is p good! i have a lot of criticism to do with 2 and how it handles some things, but in broad strokes the main party is pretty great. mostly.
the post-credit cutscene fills the entire system with an unquenchable rage which makes sense when you see it.
