i occasionally dabble in animation if my motivation is JUST RIGHT…. so heres an animation meme I made a bit ago!!

original is by charmy chippy on yt, this one is heavily inspired by xenns version (yt) !!!

and here’s some bonus doodles I’ve never posted anywhere else! they were going to be for an animatic of sorts but it was scrapped (as a lot of my animatics go through sadly, i can never keep myself focused on one project for very long…….)

to explain some context here, i headcanon that Idabashi is a retired team DR member (bc he found out how truly fucked up they are) he’s tried to expose them in the past to no avail, so they keep a watchful eye on him. and as such, when team DR found out he had a secret robot son that he had sent to school and has since graduated, and is attending college, they weren’t all that pleased. Tsumugi here took that opportunity. Hunting Kiibo down and threatening Idabashi with claims of telling the government about Kiibo if he didn’t comply. Her plan was to use him as an audience surrogate in the next killing game, which obviously was successful, but Idabashi tried his best to put up a fight. His past just couldn’t get away from him though, and the cost for it was his only family.

these pieces kind of explore that hopelessness kiibo feels around tsumugi, knowing there’s nothing he can do to stop his fate. he’s bound to her like a contract. doesn’t mean he doesn’t try to fight against it though!

is there a word like xemme but for butch/masc? xenobutch or xenbutch? xutch? xenne? xasc?

i've seen xenobutch used, and i suppose xasc would probably be the most recognizable — you'd have to shorten either xensculine, xeline, or xasculine, and xensc is odd to pronounce and xel isn't super recognizable as masc, so i'd go with xasc

Sova, he's a great observer. he notices the littlest of things.

he often smiles to himself as he watch you forget things or misplace your stuff around the base. he found your glasses at the kitchen counter while you were walking around searching for it with a confused look.

he ended up telling you where it is though. as much as he enjoyed watching you pace around with your glasses off, that showed your handsome features better, he didn't want to interrupt your work. you're another medic afterall, your role in very important in the team.

he always wanted to slick back your hair to get a better look at you up close. it's always your hair or glasses that always covers your face, much to his dismay.

one of his best view of you is when you just showered. it's you coming out of the shower with just a towel on, water dripping from your wet hair that you slicked back, and despite sitting in your lab all day, your body is well defined. this is one of the reasons as to why Sova likes showering first. >;]

your way of healing is a bit harsher than Sage and Skye's. it involves around needles and other types of injection, it's quick to inject and fast healing. some prefer Sage or Skye to do the healing, but others prefer you to heal them. yours heal the fastest.

he's not big in pda, he wants just enough so that people could tell that you guys are a thing. well, it's already obvious... you would stare at him for a good 2 minutes before he finally decides to step in, and laughs when you blushes.

Sova knows he a decent looking man, he knows how to handle things when a person approached him to make a move on him. but he's more than amused when you turned to the said person and just look at them up and down, as if saying ' boy, they're not even worth it ', and proceed to place a hand on Sova's waist and leave.

before you started dating with him, Sova thinks that you're already with Sage, it bothered him a little bit... it's like you're inseparable, everywhere you go, she's always there. every time he tried to talk to you, she's always around. but then you showed interest in him, and finally told him that you're not together.

he was so scared to make a move all this time, thinking that he'd ruin your relationship with her. that's why you approached him, when he distanced himself from you.

Sova is an early riser, he'd wake up at the crack of dawn. he sometimes would wake you up that early too, so you could spend time together, but then he'll feel bad. your normal sleeping schedule is already fucked, sometime you'd only get 2 / 3 hours of sleep every day. you wanted to make every hour count, and actually make progress on your work.

but you have him now, no more 2 / 3 hours of sleep, you're at least getting 6 every day with him around. and somehow he has convinced you to not take too much caffeine every day. literally your life has been better since he's around.
