Naeun wasn't the best at keeping a hold of people in her life. If anything it's the other way around with the situation, they drift and suddenly she never hears from them ever again. The woman gazes at Sekyung, concern in her eyes and honestly she felt the distance between them. Her nights were filled with overthinking, it gets to her every single day and despite her breathing perfectly fine; she feels like death took over her body.

"Missed you."

She meant those words so much. It drips out of her lips effortlessly and for someone who doesn't speak so freely about how she feels. It just fell out, like relief has finally been set free, the weight upon her shoulders were completely off as well. Even then it doesn't feel good, it doesn't feel right. It was as if the brunette wanted to say more, though what's the point. It won't change anything, she silently muses to herself.

"I.. So how've you been lately?" Been well, doing good. That's what Naeun was hoping to hear from the other female. In other words, thoughts were neglected and push to the side. It doesn't matter, it's nothing to complain about but the tension in the air that the younger girl created on accident  was evident. That and the way she barely made eye contact with Sekyung as well, just quick glances but never a proper gaze with one another.

Her face fills with heat, and she curls her fingers around the keys, drawing them out to let herself into the apartment building. "It's cold out here. And you're once again not dressed warm enough, you know. Do you wanna...come in?" She holds the door open, hoping silently with a patient, bright expression that the other girl will follow.

Minsoo knew that he wasn't indestructible. He needed sleep and food like everyone else around him. Maybe he was a glutton for punishment, because what he needed tended to be things that he neglected to do for himself. It's why caffeine was a staple in his life. And when the police station is out of coffee then Minsoo draws into himself even further and gets even more frustrated. He knows that one wrong comment would set him off and he also knows that his peers are curious to see what that is like. How could an officer be bored enough to watch those around them break? Minsoo didn't like to think about it. He just knew that he needed coffee.

Which is why he found himself standing in a packed coffee shop at one in the afternoon, when everyone seemed to need a boost of energy to finish their shifts for the day. The line was long and Minsoo was growing more annoyed. He adjusted his sunglasses for the umpteenth time and let out a sigh. "What is going on up there?" he asked, mostly to himself but also to the woman standing in front of him. He was almost tempted to flirt for that spot but he was just not in the mood.
