Inktober 2020!

I used prompts like RoboTober or OC_tober this year, and I wanted to keep the challenge of drawing something daily alive, so Happy (post) Halloween and draw-tober challenge!This was a super fun year, I feel like I definitely branched out a lot with my characters and even got some backgrounds involved. I might redo some of these digitally because some became a fave drawing of mine. Stay tuned!

Also I drew Linksis without any lineart! The whole thing was painted before I added the joint, mouth and eye lines. I usually use lines, then color and shade between them, but painting was such a different way of doing things, I really enjoyed it! I think there's a way to combine both my liking of lines and shading techniques....let's see what else we can do!

It will happen. Kd already acting like they dont know eo. Ji is all over m* and nos other friends. Ks who plays dead round e*o is all heart eyes to the cast and the actress ("she the most energetic person i ever meet"). Fans already calling them couple of the year and this. E*xobot promoting them like there no tomorrow. He missing the weeding and be all like love to the cast. Its already planning. The sm son*song. Brace yourself. The already have the gp/fans on their side.

Oh man....a LOT has changed in a decade! Where do I even begin?!I know recently in the past few years, I've been less focused on drawing and more on other career things, but I'm still proud I've been able to make time to draw; I gotta! It's my fave past time!

2009 was a cool year, one of my faves! Movies like 9 came out, along with JJ Abrams first Star Trek movie AND the classic District 9 as well <3That year was when I first became a high schooler (I think), I grew out of my shell a little bit, started experimenting with anime hoomans, and I think was the year I created Linksis, my eccentric and lovable robot!I certainly made a lot more "full renders" back then. Fun times! 2019 was pretty cool too! The 9th Star Wars came out this year, along with the end of Marvel's epic movie campaign with Avengers End Game! I moved out for the first time states away, learned a lot about myself, my wants, desires, my emotions. Actually the past few years have involved a lot of self discovery, and as of 2019, I have a pretty good concept of who I am. I've been experimenting on better anatomy, different lineless styles and backgrounds. This year, especially with my time being so limited, I've been focused on "great full render" drawings, while maintaining "fun sketchy" doodles when I don't have time for full renders. I've been having so much fun just messing around with characters, poses, expressions; it's less flashy but hopefully the lack of flash is made up with quality.

Well here's to another amazing decade and another awesome new year! Hopefully you've had a great wrap of 2019 and the 20-teens!Until next time!

Whatcha think? Outside the, uh, continuous empty streets of the background, I think I've improved just a bit! I've been getting into painting landscapes and backgrounds lately (though not too frequently) and BOI let me say, backgrounds take up twice the amount of time to work on compared to the characters! (and there's TWO characters to work on!) But I still had fun. I really want to continue trying different painting methods so I'm not so reliant on lineart. I tried that with the background and it turned out ok (helps that the background isn't the focus). Stay tuned and maybe you'll see some lineless Xobot and Linksis? Or Mattex? I might ask a goop friend to help.

On Deviatnt Art I teased that this was the "Before the Storm" image hinting towards the release of OMNI XD This image has nothing to do with OMNI (outside the characters displayed)!

But OMNI is, in fact, very close to be released!

Long story short, I've bee interested in writing a script for my OC's and I keep scrapping it and rewriting it. So hopefully after my film studies I'll have a much clearer path on where to take this!

Here you go! My quick contribution to Inktober! Especifically Kinktober, since I’m not one to draw too much gore-related things...might try it eventually! Some light stuff. But for now, kinks. Any who, enjoy Day 1’s sketch, “Spanking,” featuring a surprised Xobot, and the one who always initiates the “conversation,” Linksis. And Day 2 sketch, “Dirty talk.” What’s Xeno whispering into Mattex’ ear? The world may never know.
