I do have sympathy for jojo siwa for what she had gone through on dance moms but that doesn’t excuse her abusing the kids in her own group XOMG POP. It’s sad that most people who are abused and don’t get proper therapy or don’t actually come to terms with it end up being abusers themselves in the future. It’s a the cycle of abuse, which is why it’s important to talk to people and go to therapy. I genuinely do hope she realizes the harm she’s doing and the people she’s surrounding herself with aren’t good people (Colleen ballinger, Shawn Dawson, etc…) Despite her pass she’s still hurting people and surrounding herself around people who’s hurt so many. It’s terrible, this whole situation is terrible.

The Mystery of JoJo Siwa’s Prototype Dress

This new finding is gonna leave all our JoJo bow-clad ponytails drifting in orbit, y’all. As a Siwanator for who knows how long now, it certainly was a surprise for me. And it may even unveil possible clues as to how JoJo’s empire was being handled behind the scenes back in the late-2010′s.

You may or may not have heard of JoJo Siwa’s clothing line, JoJo’s Closet, which was sold only through Target from 2018 to 2022. It was targeted towards young Siwanators, and consisted of outfits and accessories inspired by actual costumes worn by JoJo during her shows, music videos, and even from her D.R.E.A.M. Tour. I myself happen to own quite a handful of stuff from JoJo’s Closet. But, did you know that before JoJo’s Closet came into fruition, it was originally going to be an ongoing collab with the Disney-owned clothing line, D-Signed? 

I had actually discovered this while searching through JoJo's Closet on Mercari. A seller on there had what appeared to be an alternate version of the rainbow dress JoJo wore during the D.R.E.A.M. Tour. Here is the dress:

The seller stated they had purchased if from someone back when their daughter was obsessed with JoJo, but had not realized until after receiving it that it was actually labeled as a prototype for D-Signed. Here is a photo of the tag and label:

This is definitely an interesting find! I wonder how this seller had gotten ahold of this prototype dress. They did not specify where they purchased the dress from, and so far this is the only prototype I have seen surface online. 

The prototype dress was manufactured in summer 2019, which lines up with the timeframe when JoJo’s Tour was taking place (and where she would be wearing the exact costume that inspired this dress).

As seen above, there isn’t a huge difference between both versions of the dress, with the exception of the pale-pink color becoming hot-pink, and the ruffles on the sleeves going from opaque colors to lighter, translucent ones.

This finding leads me to a few questions: 

1. Was JoJo originally going to be working with Disney instead of Nickelodeon?

2. How did Disney get ahold of JoJo’s costume designs, if by 2019 she was already touring with those costumes, was working with Nickelodeon, and the JoJo’s Closet line was already a year old at Target?

3. How in the WORLD did that seller get ahold of this dress?

4. Could there be D-Signed prototypes of other clothing items from JoJo’s Closet we may not know of yet?

I would totally buy that prototype dress, if only it was my size! But if anyone has possible info on how this prototype came to be, please feel free to message me or add some info as a repost. Don’t forget to share!

JoJo Siwa just posted dance moves on the SYTYCD set and ow a lot of haters are posting on her IG, posting hate. What's going on??? I read something about one of the girls from the XOMG group and how she said JoJo and her mom was abusive or something. Hard to believe JoJo would do that! Someone said Leigha said something but I don't know what it is. But you know what? All the girls and mothers involved in the group seem to love Leigha. Kinley's mom even posted on reddit and said nothing but kind things about Leigha so this is hard to believe. I will tell you this. If there's anything negative going on from Leigha, I'm willing to bet Leigha's mom Angie had do to do with it! Have you not seen JoJo's dance show from Peacock, "Siwas Dance Pop Revolution"? That woman, Angie is a total drama queen and I can't stand her! If anything bad happened between Siwa and Leigha, I'm sure Angie had a lot to do with it and it's probably her fault Leigha is out. Don't make assumptions about things you don't know!

Air really likes “candy hearts” and “sparkle queens” by xomg pop, but he really only likes the old versions, they got rerecorded after half the group left and the old ones got taken down, we havent found where to find all xomg’s old stuff yet but we havent really looked yet

Earth is the pretty much the only one that actually listens to music frequently, Water and i 🔥 havent really found our own taste in music yet, although theres a song on Earth’s playlist i really like called “no parallels” by hands like houses. If Water had to name one he would probably say “say you like me” by we the kings, again from Earth’s playlist

🪨 if we’re talking about songs that pump me up, i have to mention “for the glory” by all good things, i used to listen to it a lot but ive tried not to the past year or so, because i dont have a healthy relationship with it. Basically, im not traumagenic, i was born with the body (just like all my sysmates), i dont exist to fulfill a role, but after we experienced trauma i chose to step up as a physical and emotional protector of my system, and then i made that my entire identity and felt like i failed my purpose in life when i failed to protect them, and was just spiraling rapidly downward into self loathing and homicidal ideation, which is why we quit using system roles at all in favor of mbti and still why i dont front that often, despite having fronted almost exclusively for the years prior, during our trauma. Anyway, this song has an easy time sucking me right back into the protector mindset, which is why i try to avoid it. But god its a good song. Anyway, in no particular order i like pretty much everything thats ever been recorded by imagine dragons, sugarcult, the score, paramore, yellowcard, and probably some others but those immediately come to mind, i dont think i can pick a favorite, but i can be more specific if youre looking for recommendations

Thanks for the previous answers! I'm thinking of asking 23, 24, 25 with Mabel and Stan. Did I ask about those questions before? Wanted to make sure I'm not asking the same things over and over.

23. Favorite picture of this character?

I can answer this for both. There's a really cute piece of fanart of Mabel and Stan on Pinterest, that has them in matching sweaters, and Mabel's sweater says 'I punched a unicorn in the face' and Stan's says 'I punched a pterodactyl in the face'.

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?

There's quite a few characters who Mabel is similar to: Fatespeaker and Kinkajou (Wings of Fire), Kez (Infinity Train), Princess Unikitty (The Lego Movie) and even Anne from Anne of Green Gables. Also, Kinley, one of the old members of XOMG POP! had a lot of Mabel Pines energy.

As for Stan...Mother Goose from The Land Of Stories, Lady Scarab from Wings of Fire and Metalbeard from The Lego Movie. Also Uncle Eddie from Jumanji: Next Level.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I've always enjoyed Mabel's charater, although I've always related more to Dipper (my siblings are quite Mabel-like), although that is not to say that I don't relate to Mabel in some areas, such as being too energetic to easily make friends, and having a fear of change (I'm not as extroverted as her though. No-one is).

At first, it took me a moment to really warm up to Stan. His list of crimes was doing battle with his absolutely hilarious one-liners within my heart, and eventually my amusement won out. I think it was actually Ford turning up that showed me just how much I liked Stan (not that I dislike Ford, by any stretch, I just am more attached to Stan)

Check out the Xomg pop Reddit and Anjie’s (Leigha’s mom Instagram). The remaining moms sent Anjie a photo of them smiling holding up five fingers in the air (representing the other girls left -and not Leigha). The whole thing is sad!

I saw! it’s absolutely insane i’m honestly surprised that anjie said anything knowing how crazy jess is but i’m so glad she did. I hope this opens some floodgates for jess criticism because my god that woman needs a reality check!
