You could actually obfuscate assembly code by exploiting the fact that certain (x86) assembly instructions, such as mov, are Turing complete! Therefore the asm code you write could be, if you used this stuff, not the code that people could see on their machine. I've included links to a tool that do this to c code (which has a great presentation linked at the bottom) and the original paper containing this idea ^^

Like, How would they react to a reader who has a sword that looks normal at first but when their S/O sees their partner in danger, the sword reveals itself as a cursed sword where the blade changes color and their S/O changes into a demon form (whenever the curse takes effect) to protect their partner and change back once they're safe.

After you'd gotten hurt and decided as a last sitch effort to I leash your demon is he was worried about how the fight might go.

You were very injured at the end but watching you cut and claw down the massive robot he made sure you got the medical treatment you deserved

If you saw my recent post, I imagine Scott and Xor are younger teens. As the princes of Rivendell, they've been the champions of Aeor and Exor since they were little, and are born from a long bloodline of royal twins with the same fate. (Rivendell royals are basically forced to birth heirs which is ermmm not great for Scott, I know) Being Aeor's champion, Scott was destined to take the throne from the start. He was the favored child, leaving Xornoth abused and neglected. The twins were often separated, Scott being told for a long time to stay away from his brother in fear of him being cursed.

One day, Xornoth runs away to start training his corruption powers with Exor as his mentor.

Out of boredom, I've decided to write a short drabble of this au The thing still won't be. y'know. written until summer, but eh, drabbles are fun and I've got motivation to do this! Who Needs In-depth Characters When You Have LOVE!! drabble by @voidofaworld "Sooo, what are they to each other?" Joey inquired as he looked down upon the two small figurines of his and Xor's D&D characters. Joey's was an Aarakocra fighter and had far too much devotion to a certain tiefling. Xornoth's character was a tiefling rogue who may or may not have just gotten out of rehab before she joined this party. A perfect match, if you ask Xornoth. "They need to be married!" Xornoth insisted as they pushed their character closer to his. "Just look at 'em! Perfect match." Joey chuckled at their words and shifted his character closer to the other, managing to hook the two figurine's hands together. "They're holding hands now. Completely obsessed with each other!" Xornoth snickered as a wide grin formed onto their face. "They may not have names, but eh. I'll figure out a ship name for them soon," they commented as they rested their head on Joey's shoulder, still looking at their work-in-progress OCs. Joey let a hand fall down to their waist and promptly pulled them closer as he started some long blabber-session about how the characters could meet. Neither of them had even started to develop their characters, but here they are, planning the newest ship between their OCs. If this isn't the glory of being in a QPR, Xornoth doesn't know what is. They're sure his rants must be very interesting and totally in-depth, but Xor couldn't help but literally sleep through the whole thing. In their defense, Joey's voice just had something about it that makes it ten times easier to sleep and overall ignore reality. They're sure he won't mind, right? Well, probably. Hopefully. They'd think so, at least. Eh. That's future Xornoth's problem, not theirs.

I used to be super into jornoth, but after a while the interest faded However, since they've appeared in my peripheral yet again (ironic bc I don't see well in my peripheral but still) I'm going to yap about them (kinda) Nowadays, I get a very aromantic vibe from Xornoth (both Elven and demonic) so I feel like he'd lean more towards alterous attraction But since I imagine that isn't a very well-known form of attraction, it confuses the fuck out of them Xornoth isn't quite sure what this emotion is. Maybe it's romantic? Perhaps it's a weirdly strong platonic feeling? Perhaps it's just loneliness getting the better of him? Whatever this emotion is, it's a pain in the ass. Is it romantic feelings if anytime the idea of a relationship with Joey makes him cringe and immediately regret the thought? Would it be platonic if all they really want is to just hear him talk about his day? To spend time with him that consists of nothing but a movie night or maybe baking a small treat? Or just sitting next to each other while they both different tasks? What if this is actually just platonic feelings that aren't clinginess and a search for some dopamine? And what is he supposed to do with these... whatever the fuck they are. Needs? Urges? Attempts at feelings something? (I'm not sure if that was writing Xor's perspective or just my way of conveying their thoughts, so it's up to interpretation.) Meanwhile, Joey, in his obsessive-like love/lust for Xornoth, isn't sure what kind of signals Xornoth is giving. For one thing, Xornoth doesn't mind his presence (they even allowed a hug! Can you imagine that?!) and even listens to his rants (usually). Although, Xor has never gotten flustered around him, never blushed, or was flirty, or did anything to show interest. It's frustrating that Xorny never does anything cute aside from their looks! What's a guy to do if the person of his dreams is literally simply nice and not showing cues of being into him?!

Meet the OC: Zolla Tah

Zolla is in a weird spot as an OC. Because, technically, she wasn't originally a SWTOR OC. She was an OC for the Prequel Era as an elderly, retired smuggler, who now sells knick-knacks and souvenirs on Coruscant. I merely used the Togruta assets to help me visualize her, long before I started playing the game. But as she now fills the Smuggler story, I guess she technically counts now lol. So all info about her is of her original story. She is kind and loving. She's basically like everyone's grandma. She lives in one of the lower levels with her roommate, a Kel-Dor named Xor Drisen. She tolerates the Senate well enough, and lives in one of the lower levels, so she sees a lot of the effects of their decisions (including the Clones' treatment). She's very fond of the Clones, especially the Coruscant Guard. And she's also fond of the Jedi when they stop by, especially when they bring their Padawans. She absolutely loves the Clones, and decided that they are her grandkids now. She really dislikes the war, thinks its a damn shame that so many of those lovely young men/boys are dying (not to mention the effects of the crime and stuff in the lower levels). She also really doesn't like the Separatists after hearing horror stories about them. She is a very happy person and very content with her life. She enjoys knitting, baking, reading, making sure she has enough stock for her booth, and regaling others with stories of her past exploits. She doesn't really get angry, tries to comfort people when they are upset, gets sad when people are being terrible and cruel, or seeing the Clones treatment. She also thinks the Force is pretty nifty.

I am back on my empires smp shit, just finished re-watching all of season one from Scott’s point of view. I started like yesterday. Anyways, here’s some theories for season one and season two.

All of the season 2 characters are reincarnations except false and oli

Unless ascending to godhood before reincarnation, you only reincarnate in your original reality

The rune sword doesn’t send you to an afterlife, but sends you to a reality that fits the afterlife you wanted you are still alive. You’re just in a different universe

Xornoth also reincarnated we just don’t see him in season two

The mad king is sausage of sanctuary’s father

Glimmer Grove was once the overgrown

Corruption lingered in xornoths body in the main universe and caused his skull to have lingering dark magic, it’s also the skull that Scott of chromia found and stole his eye

The watchers exist and watch over the Multiverse and are older than the old gods.

Gem because of her bravery and powers was when she was alive in season, one reincarnated as a celestial being and was granted the ability to travel the Multiverse causing her to merge with the versions of her and other realities to some degree

Since we know that witchcraft SMP is tied back to empires. I believe that there was a displaced Scott soul from a reality that got destroyed, and it reincarnated into which Scott in a world where there was already a Scott same thing happened with any other repeats through the two series

And if any being who crossed through dimensions had a kid with someone from another dimension, that child would gain the ability to at least see other universes 

Since xornoth and Scott souls were tied together, they both got sent to the new reality xornoth just had his memories lost and altered because of the nature of this new reality, as well as the fact that he was not the one to bring them there

Since Scott wished for a happy life in Riverdale, they got that in Zorn also got his wish because of course Scott would’ve wanted that for a happy version of their lives, so I do believe that xornoth did actually have a thing for Joey deep down as his actual self, but the corruption of Xor kept him from truly exploring that and had him manipulate Joey, so in the happy reality, Joey and xornoth are dating

I’ll give you a little bit of info though. It’s a prequel to Empires season one, and the two main characters are Shrub and Xornoth.

My lore is pretty different from canon and I’ll explore that part later in the comic, but the beginning will be some slice of life/ silly stuff from shrub and xor.

I’ve been plotting, don’t you worry…

It was the dead of night and the moon shone down onto the church like a crowning baby.

The church was mostly empty except from the panting and moaning of the sin filled priest.

9 months earlier, a demon had taken the willing man and filled him with its seed. And now the priest awaited the very same demon, who had promised to help once it learned of the baby it implanted into his womb, to assist in delivering the child.

He rubbed his swollen stomach and slowly brought his hands together in prayer as he begged God to forgive him for being tempted so easily.

The prayer was cut short as a gripping contraction held him tight and made his water break.

Mid scream the familar, cold yet warm, hands wrapped themselves around the priest.

"Xor?!" The priest grunted out as the demon began to undress him.

"Father William." Xor slyly said, smiling. It held Will's legs apart and planted a kiss onto the pained man's forehead.

Will let out a painful moan as he felt the baby descend down against his will.

Will grunted, "Its coming! Shit it's coming out!" Tears streamed from his eyes as he began to push.

The child continued its decent from his cervix to his unvirgin hole.

Xor watched as the crown grew bigger. It felt proud of his human who was birthing his seed. Gentle, it cupped the slowly approaching head, whispering "push" and "breathe" to the struggling man.

With a large and loud cry, the head came out with a gush of liquid.

A panicked looked flashed over Williams eyes as he began to whimper out, "I'm so sorry! Dear God, I apologise for my sins." He cried out in rapid breaths!

A contraction controlled him to push as he cried out, "I CAN'T DO THIS!"

Xor held the man's hand. "Breath in and out. You are doing so well. Keep pushing!"

Panting, the shoulder slowly slid out ,with a scream, from the now loose hole.

Xor slowly began to wiggle and gently pull the baby from will.

The child came out of William's beaten body and placed onto his chest.

They stayed in the silence of the sobbing baby. Xor broke it by saying, "It's a girl"

i am about to go wild. welcome to Esluxia 101, one of the main settings for Revolve. buckle up, i'm taking you for a ride

let's start with some summarized history for context:

on one of the continets we have Ademar, magically advanced civilization sort of like pre-dynastical Egypt/China

Ademar gets wiped out in the war of Arcana (rip) and the whole continent becomes wild lands

about 1k years later (we are ~5k years ago), people decide it's time to reconquer the continent through colonizing. one such colony is Saertia

Saertia becomes big and gains independence (from now on the continent is known as Isertia)

Saertia becomes too big and splits in two: Reiki and Zere. they are enemies

Reiki and Zere do war about their disagreements

Zere tries the feudal approach to staying whole. the feuds on the border with Reiki are very stressed about this

Zere falls apart

some of the feuds band together, some don't, some do war and conquer their neighbours

flash forward to ~1k years ago, you get about 5-6 "kingdoms" and a bunch of tribal/nomadic cultures that are developing independently

Zere is still trying to pretend it's whole by calling these factions "kireis" and being a bully about being "the most important kirei"

~200 years ago, another empire fucks up big time, loses against all its colonies, goes "hey why don't we all be friends and not attack each other?" and proposes a treaty

Zere, pretending to be nice, asks the other kireis if they want in. most say yes. Zere says no. Zere decides to be a bully

someone in Zere that wants the treaties exposes Zere for war crimes then makes a run for it into a different kirei. Zere decides to do war (and war crimes) about it

*insert Europe in 1914 with alliances snapping into civil war in 2 days*

this is how Esluxia happens. civil war turns into an all out 22 years-long revolution (Lifexi Revolution, my beloved. i know so much about it and it has the highest spinoff potential), Zere loses badly at the end, though not without inflicting large amounts of damage. so the figurehead of the revolution (Yilvar, my beloved ಥ.ಥ) does the smart thing and:

makes alliances with the most influential people on his side for every kireis before facing off agains the king of Zore

kills the king of Zere

takes the throne of Zere (quickly renamed Xor because otherwise yikes) by right of "i killed the old king, fuck off"

declares each of the nine kirei a completely independent nation free to govern themselves however they want

proposes an alliance among all of the new nations (still independent, but helping each other)

picks a part of Xor that's pretty centered and has been burned to the ground, declares it independent from Xor, names it Asglen and goes "this is an impartial place, no one has influence here, we lead the alliance from here"

signs the gods damned international treaty that started this whole bullshit revolution with the other leaders of the new nations

abdicates the throne of Xor

so that's an interesting weekend. and because the gods (me) hate him (i love him), he doesn't get rest; people ask the leaders of the nine nations who's gonna lead the alliance, and the leaders go "well, Yilvar led us and he has a light resonance, so clearly he's favored by the gods so he should do it". Yilvar, who just wanted to start a farm with his wife and raise the orphans of his dead friends, sighs woefully and gets crowned Xire

so, after this history lesson, what is Esluxia like now? well i am glad you asked

the nine nations are very different in geography, economy, politcal system, society and (most of all) vibes. i could go over them in this post, but for the sake of being somewhat brief i will not. i will however tell you that they are, from west to east & north to south: Yeis Bin Tiatt, Fyma, Laej, Uyla, Wra, Xor, Trezi, Djis Ima Teji and Ekre Kas'Ti. here's an operative map that i've been meaning to finish, but have alas not

so, what is the mint-green speck between Xor, Fyma and Uyla? the answer is Asglen

Asglen is an indepenent city-state with very clear borders and a bunch of villages and hamlets in its territories, all of which abide to its laws. Asglen is the operative heart of Esluxia: the Xire lives here, it has a permanent council of governors from the nine nations (the Phoenix Council), it has a court of experts in political, financial, economic, military, medicinal and technological experts (Phoenix Court) and it holds the highest criminal and civil courts. small place with a pretty big reputation

the Xire themself has quite the bunch of duties. they:

mediate disputes between two or more Esluxian nations

preside the two annual High Councils in which all the leaders of the nine nations meet

preside all meetings of the various Esluxian Assemblies (financial, military, legislative

preside all meetings of the Phoenix Council

represent the Alliance on the international scene

be the Mayor of Asglen (with all the implied duties)

in addition, if the High Council declares martial law or the state of emergency, the Xire and the Phoenix Council take on full legislative power while the Phoenix Court takes on full executive power for the entirety of the Alliance. it is going to be a fun few years for Lukiat ^-^

so, if the Xire has all these duties, how are they chosen? out of sheer dumbassery, divine power. the Xire must be a person of at least 22 years of age whose elemental resonance is light. the reason given to the public is, in fact, that the gods favor them, the same way it had been for Yilvar

in truth (as it had been for Yilvar) there is an artifact that is kept in the Esluxian court that has been tied to the ley lines in Esluxia and can act as an amplifier along them, which makes it a really powerful defensive and offensive system. problem is, this artifact can only be awakened through light magic attunement, which is a dangerous process if you are too young. ergo, the requirements. also, ergo the actual reason the leaders in ye olde days appointed Yilvar. he was the one who found the artifact and proceeded to use it to put an end to the revolution

now, light is not a natural resonance in the slightest. no one is born with it, it's a resonance that people shift into. which means that so far, Esluxia has had a lot of luck with this process. and they've had luck mostly because the gods (still me) absolutely hate (adore) Yilvar. his light resonance has traveled down his descendants like a curse out of sheer fucking trauma. not one generation has gone without someone shifting into light, and adoptive children are not spared from this fate. i could list them, but i feel like this post is long enough as it is. thus, on this wonderful note, i depart
