I like to think the most obvious case here is her wings. She doesn’t care too much for her health and wellbeing because it’s just something that’s not important to angels - they’re generally healthy beings. The thing she fears the most / is on edge about is her wings. There’s no way for her to have them repaired unless she returns home, but there’s no way of getting home. So she’s worried about them, but she can’t fix them so she tries her best to disregard it.

A bit hard though since there’s feathers littering her floor every day.

     [ Now this was a strange sight. A ghastly sight to some, maybe, but to the Commander? This was... almost normal. He watches the man as he walks, staring in curiousity at all of the metal he had on him. How strange. He knew of all of the animals and, sometimes in extremely rare cases, people, that had gone into the labs and had come out a chimera. This one, however, he had never seen before.

     Perhaps he had been made without Claus’ knowing? Perhaps he had escaped, too? This simply would not do.

     He walks towards the other, before standing in front of him, hand and cannon behind his back as he looks up, a glare meeting with the yellow glow of the others mask’s eyes. ]
