Idk why, but I can very much see Leo having a breakdown shortly after he meets Malea (@xxlea-nardoxx’s OC from her tmnt AU) and he and his brothers drop off Raphie, Lee, Mike, and Don to their own dimension and stay for a bit upon Malea’s insistence.

He’s tired and has had to put up with 4 other people’s antics besides his own, Lee being the most difficult of the bunch. His brothers were a big help of course, but it’s still that “oldest brother/clan leader” responsibility he is dealing with and his brothers need him too.

His knee is aching—he’s been on his feet a lot, he’s raised his voice more lately (thanks a lot Lee, you brat 😅), and seeing Malea just reminds him of what he doesn’t have and he feels like a kid all over again.

So one day, when it’s just a little too loud and everything’s a bit too much, Malea takes notice and leads him to a quieter part of the house. She asks if he’s okay now, and Leo just fucking sobs, trying to gasp out everything he’s feeling currently and of course apologizing for being so upset.

The fastest way to become my mutual is take it very, very slow, lol. I met @xxlea-nardoxx after reblogging some of her Silver art, and we slowly began talking in the comments and reactions before moving to our DMs, but iirc that took multiple months. And for you, you began leaving comments on my Ao3 stories for a while before moving on to Tumblr (I don't recall if we exchanged Tumblr usernames or something, though. But your comments were a great help in getting through New Beginnings! <3). Overall, I vibe best with people who like/reblog some of my posts here and send in asks with me sending asks back at times: it gives me some time to see who I am talking to and what our stances are on things.

🦋 ⇢ share something that has been on your heart and mind lately

I'm so glad I am no longer so ill, haha. I legitimately couldn't do shit except lay on the couch, have a fever, and be unable to eat. Plus, it really sucked that it took so long (well over three weeks): I began feeling just a bit desperate with every time I thought I had improved, only for the illness to come right back again a day later. And I'm still easily winded with zero stamina... Running around like BotW!Link with a constantly-empty stamina wheel here, while having no idea when that will finally be fixed...

I want to use that uncertainty as a guiding line in Stories. I named the fic All The Stories That Will Be Written because we don't know how our stories and those of the world will go: none of us can predict the future. I know we can't, but I hate it. It makes an interesting contrast with Silver who is from the future and who has a very unique story that formed his life there, but who is also shackled by uncertainties and worries and acts out heavily because of those. Yesterday I was going through the bits I have already written... and I found I'm entirely stuck eight chapters in, lmao. There's events that I know have to happen: Espio will have to convince Silver to stay in the past for longer, Espio will have to try and find evidence that proves Silver's innocence, Silver will have to undergo some development that shows why he is so intense about everything all the time, and I also want him to discover what Espio is up to (I also have an idea of what will happen after that, but that is something I don't want to spoil yet :>). It just needs to be written, aka the number 1 enemy of all writers XD With having been so ill, my whole writing system is entirely out of whack. I gotta sit down and brainstorm the next handful of upcoming chapters and see what I can make of it!

i’m pretty new here, so i apologize if this is redundant- are the au kids your own versions of the turtles, or are they related to the 2012 cast in some way?? either way they’re all super cute & i love how you draw them :)

Okay so, my Au kids are my own versions of the 12!Turtles, stemming from a completely different universe than them, hence the name of the AU. Sometimes it might look like they are related or whatnot, because I call all of them "brothers", but that's just because they all see each other that way!

The Universes AU™️ is two different sets of 12!Turtles meeting and becoming friends, despite some hurdles. It plays out after season 4, with most dangers being gone now.

My Au kids are much brighter and more innocent than their canon counterparts and are acting as some sort of way to help them heal, trying to bring out their childish and chaotic side more often. Let's be honest, they've been through so much and having four fun-loving little brothers can certainly help. :>

Even if they're worrying about their counterparts and their ailments sometimes (especially Don, hdddff).

1. I think donnie is her parents, is he her biological parent, is he a single dad or does she have 2 if that makes sense

2. Is her name short for something. Is there a nickname she gets called

3. What weapon would she use in the future, do you have a future design for her as an adult/teenager

I think this is a ask list about Thea, right? Because if so then ohhhh boy, I'm excited for this one!

1. Don (My Au Kid, not Universes!Donnie) is indeed one of her parents and yes Thea is his biological child, that he's had with his boyfriend Alex once he got older. Since Don is bodily female, he's able to have a kid. She wasn't actually planned, but Don and Alex love her to pieces and cannot imagine a life without her anymore.

2. "Thea" is short for Dorothea! They thought the name was adorable and suits her well. Besides calling her Thea, she also often gets called "sweetie" by her grandmother (Malea) or Don himself.

Funfact: The name Dorothea means "Gift of God"

3. I actually haven't thought about a teenager design yet, but I'm pretty sure that she will eventually get one, as well as an assigned weapon. Right now this is the oldest I've ever drawn her. I think she's about 2-3 years old in it.

sorry if youv already said this, but where did Donnie get the cracks/scaring on his skin in your au?

I never explained it before and even if I did, it's alright!! All of his scars are from the canon 2012 timeline, actually.

The red "cracks" are supposed to be scars from being electrocuted, especially from the episode "The fourthfold trap"!! I just can't draw scars very well, lmao.

As for the other scars...

The scars on his left elbow are from "Slash and Destroy", because I like to think more into his injury. He also wears a brace similiar to the situation with Leos knee. :>

The ones on his fingers are simply because of potential substances he's touched. Bro, for the love of god, wear gloves.

All of the other scars don't have an exact canonical accident assigned to them and are just from several fights during the show, because realistically the canon turtles should look scarred af.

But I guess some of them can be tracked back to "Broken Foot" too, when he got blown up!

Mutant Mayhem is my second favorite version, right after 2012 now..

I really like the Bay-movies [2014 & 2016] A LOT. They're so enjoyable to me, no matter what anyone says.

2003 and 2007 are really nice, despite not having watched too much of 2003, but I really like these dumbasses.

Never really saw anything of the 1987! Turtles, but I love how squishy and silly they are.😭

I watched Rise before (the movie and the show), and that version is mostly carried by Leo and Mikey. They're the two characters I truly care about, but the show is enjoyable to watch anyway.

Never watched the 90's movies and I'm actually not planning to just yet, so I don't have an opinion on it.

But generally I am not picky when it comes to the Ninja Turtles. If I'm at someones house and they ask me if we wanna watch Tmnt 2003 or 1987, I will definitely say yes. As long as it's the ninja turtles, I'm happy. :>

Though when it comes to talking about them, the 2012 version, Mutant Mayhem and 2003 (to some degree) are my favorites. It's the versions I feel most confident talking about!

I just realised something.

Ohhhhhh I cannot believe someone is asking about my dear kitties. :>

It's two kitties and their names are Callie and Minnie!! Raphie found both of them on the streets and while they were originally "his cats", does the entire family take care of them.

Callie, the calico, was only a few weeks old when Raphie found her in a bush. That was a few months before they stranded in the canon world and met their counterparts.

She's the definition of an orange cat: only one braincell and it is barely in use. She's basically the princess of the household and LOVES food. They need to lock her into a seperate room during mealtimes, or she'll steal the food right of their plates.

Despite cats normally not liking it, Callie is the exact opposite and likes it when Raphie puts her into clothes. Especially when he takes her outside on a walk.

Minnie was rescued off the streets about three months after Callie. The family is unsure about her age, but she was already over a year old at the time of her rescue.

Raphie found her on his way home from school. The poor thing had a Minnie Mouse plastic-bag around her neck and couldn't get it off, hence her name. Realizing that Raphie was trying to help her, she let him come close and help freeing her from the bag.

Since then she's the second (and last) cat to join the family. She's much calmer than Callie and acts like a big sister towards her. Ever since meeting the kitten for the first time, she's grown a liking to her. Other than Callie too, she's seemingly a lot more intelligent and dislikes wearing anything that isn't her collar or harness.

The kitties are Raphies pride and joy. Even the canon turtles started taking a liking to them. Thank you so much for letting me ramble about my babies. :>

So your au turtles are German right. Do they live in Germany in their universe, or are they just from Germany and live in New York?

I'm just trying to figure stuff out for my own iteration, and got a similar idea. And sorry if you've already explained this at some point-

I'm so sorry, but I just love how much you people support my AU Turtles being german. It's something I never thought would ever happen, shsjsjskk.

But coming back to your question: It's the former. I thought it would be hilarious if they actually lived in Germany, since that means that there's some cultural differences between the two sets of turtles. They need to speak two different languages during their daily lives, so it's easier for them to mess up or get confused (something that happens to me a lot, I am projecting). Also, as I explained in one post already, they use different size measurements so there's always gonna be confusion. xD

I haven't yet decided where they could live city-wise, but my decision for German turtles is set in stone now, with how the people actually think this is fun. So yeah, full on German turtles living in respective country it is!

But perhaps they could originally be from New York, just don't remember that?
