I mean in dept thoughts about how you thinks he’s going to be in the next movie, how his world is, etc. Because he seems SO different than our Miles, more rough around the edges. My thoughts on Miles G 🤔🤔

So firstly most people like to see him as being just like Miles 1610, I don’t think that’s the case at all, like fundamentally they’re the same as in they have the same face, they’re equally smart ect. But Miles G is his own individual person, he’s had a adapt to a lot more than 1610 Miles, losing his father, his world is more tougher than 1610 because they have no Spider-Man so maybe he’s had to grow up a lot faster than Miles 1610 so he wouldn’t make the same decisions as him. The grief alone of losing his father makes him different from Miles 1610, whiles Miles was tied up he tried to gain sympathy from Miles G with saying “our dad”. For 1610 if 42 came to his world and said “our dad” it would’ve probably worked but 42 quickly said “your dad”. He’s also heavily influenced by his uncle Aaron now, so he thinks like Aaron. Miles 1610 wasn’t allowed around his uncle Aaron much before he died so he isn’t as big an influence. I also think that 42 has a survivor mentality & a heightened sense of awareness due to his New York being crime ridden. I wanna add more but I’ll have to think about it😭😭 my brain data dumps things. Anything specific you wanna know my thoughts on send them in my inbox🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

In the next movie all I want to see is the TWINS 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I wanna see them acting brotherly, maybe saying the same thing at the same time 😂😂 those are my only hopes. I don’t have expectations because expectations lead to disappointment.

for miles content i am very open to reading new ideas, i loved your duke fic and i love fics that explore alternate universes and “different” depictions of him, quite literally exploring the spider-verse through fanficion… but with all the negative rep aus seem to have gotten, people are being extremely limited with their creativity, and for every cool au we get, there’s a oneshot/hcs abt miles dating someone who likes hello kitty or a date at the arcade,, etc… i like those types of fanfiction, but when its the only thing people are allowed to read $ write because all the creative au writers are basically exiled/ bullied into writing the same thing as everyone else,, it gets boring quick.

I’ve been saying literally for MONTHS!!! That I’m sick of the fluff 🤣🤣 it’s cute but BORING!! And writing for Miles is definitely limiting, I don’t mind OOC fics either because I UNDERSTAND and COMPREHEND that what I’m reading is PURELY FICTIONAL and for ENTERTAINMENT ONLY!! A lot of people lack comprehension sadly 🤣🤣.

I’ve gotten backlash on a few of my fics too that aren’t the normal fluff stuff, angst fics and aus are so much more entertaining to me at-least.

I do agree with the sheep mentality, but most people are that 👀 I see it as a “I wanna fit in” thing, it’s easier to go with the flow than against the grain.

I feel like fandoms are a bit odd overall yk, it’s a lot of people with a lot of opinions so there’s gonna be clashes disagreement and stuff like that. While I do wish that we were better with being kinder ,understanding that everyone has opinions, understanding that you’re not gonna like everything on the internet, that you don’t have to make comments all the time and that you create your own space on here. I’m supposed to be taking a break and I am but I just wanted to speak about this cause it’s relevant to the app, I hope no one says I’m doing this for “sympathy points.” Cause mental health is so important and this is also my blog and can be an outlet for me instead of bottling it up. I also hope no one takes this as a dig personally but can understand it’s me just expressing MY FEELINGS. Being on tumblr has really put my anxiety into overdrive, the mere thought of tumblr, the notifications and posting gives me an anxiety that I haven’t had since seventh grade. Everytime I see the logo I’m just waiting on another post bashing me somehow, like “uh oh what did I do now.” “How do I have to defend myself today?” (Update : there was one.)

It’s become so hostile and unpredictable I’m sure not only for myself cause I’ve been told stories of people being literally forced off the site because they wrote things that were good to them and just wanted to share like the rest of us.

And now that I’ve had experiences, I totally get why people decide to just leave , why I’ve gotten multiple messages of others wanting to be writers but opting out.

There’s no grace for people to be themselves, there’s no grace for people to sprinkle different elements into their content. No grace for people that step a little outside the thin ass line that has been drawn.

When did we get so hostile and distasteful? Are we not ashamed of the way we treat people because they have different interests, perspectives, cultures different than our own?

It’s disgusting that anyone has to feel anxiety or depression ect. It’s nothing to be nice to each other something I can work on myself.
