hii I love your work, you're super talented ❤️❤️
I was wondering how wondering Alexander and his generals react to a shy reader?
This isn't a request btw I was just wondering,u can ignore this if u want
have a nice day/night❤️❤️
Hii!! Thank you so much, anon! I'm glad you like my work! And oh, have a good day/night, you too! ❤️❤️
Alexander would think it's adorable if you were shy, he thinks it's cute when you huddled in a corner when you're around a lot of people, or don't talk much. Sometimes this can irritate him, but most of the time, he thinks it's adorable and just wants to keep you in his arms to protect you. Protect you from the world, but not from him.
Hephaestion thinks it's adorable too, he likes to tease you and always laughs when he sees your face turning red, whether from anger or embarrassment. You're so cute that he just wants to bite you. He doesn't mind at all and he likes it because that means it's very unlikely that you would cheat on him or do something he doesn't like with someone else, due to your shyness.
Perdiccas and you go hand in hand, because he is also a little shy and even antisocial, but with you he becomes a completely extroverted person. Think of two introverted best friends at a party, did you? Well, it's you and Perdiccas. He is very calm and sometimes likes to be silent by your side.
Ptolemy doesn't care much, he's never been much of a talker but he's not exactly shy. He just knows when to be quiet and when to speak and he passionately believes that you are just like him, even if you are not. He will never try to force you to get along with someone or speak in public, he will always respect your desires and needs.
Cleitus is an extroverted and very talkative guy, he is always talking loudly and laughing, completely different from you. At first, he found your shyness a slight annoyance because he didn't always get the reaction he wanted from you. Don't get him wrong, he will always respect your limits but he would like you to be less shy, you know, loosen up more.
Cassander is as quiet as you, but he is not shy but very introverted. Even around his "friends" he doesn't usually talk much and has a very sharp tongue, constantly hurling insults, but not at you, never at you. Cassander finds your shyness adorable and loves to tease you about it but will fight with anyone who dares to say anything about it.
Nearchus is mischievous and playful, always wanting to play jokes and tease you and when he hears your reaction, he becomes ecstatic. If there's one thing he finds adorable, it's you and your shyness only complements that.
Philotas is more introverted and pompous, and he expects to be adored by you. He demands it. Due to his arrogant nature, he may find your shyness both a nuisance and adorable. It all depends on his mood and if he is happy, he will tease you for a while about it. It's nothing evil, he just likes to see you embarrassed or angry.
Parmenion doesn't care, he is much more occupied with other things than his shyness, for what it's worth, he finds it pleasant but nothing that impresses him. He just doesn't really care.

Chapter 6
You could feel the exact moment the air changed. The exact moment when everything had changed.
When history had been changed by your presence in this time.
It was like one of those period films you used to watch on lonely Saturday nights. It looked just like a movie you remember watching a while ago about Alexander, except no one in the movie had been stabbed.
As far as you knew, at least.
But it wasn't supposed to happen like that. Cleitus was not supposed to die until just before Alexander's wedding to Roxanna. Yes, there was the drunken fight between the two men, but it was for a different reason and at a different time.
It shouldn't happen now. And definitely not because of you.
Your presence was already affecting the course of things and you blamed yourself for it, even if it was illogical. Maybe it was that butterfly effect you had already heard about. It's not like you transported yourself over two millennia into the past of your own free will.
You didn't even know how you ended up in this place and with these people, but you knew it had something to do with the book you had so foolishly decided to buy. How or why you didn't know. Yet.
You would figure out how to leave this place, this time, one way or another.

Ptolemy was trying to remain calm. He was really trying, but he didn't know if he could do it much longer.
Because, for the first time in years, he had felt afraid of Alexander.
And that was something to consider. He had known Alexander since the days he was a boy, and although he was not as close to Alexander as Hephaestion, he still considered himself a close friend of the King.
Ptolemy respected Alexander not only as King, but as a friend.
And now he didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to think.
Alexander announcement was a big surprise. Why had Alexander felt the need to announce his intention to marry (Y/N) in this way.
Or why he wanted to marry her in the first place.
Ptolemy had no idea what to think about her. He had nothing against her but he couldn't say he was satisfied. But that was because he didn't know her. Yes, she looked pleasing to the eye, but there was something about her that made him disturbed and anxious.
Something about her scared him.
''Call a doctor!'' Hephaestion's strangely calm voice removed him from his disturbing thoughts.
Ptolemy waved and ran out of the tent, happy to do so. He didn't want to think about Cleitus or Alexander, or even (Y/N).
The soldiers were all awake and alert, alarmed by the screams in the King's tent, but none of them seemed willing to bother some of the generals for more information.
It's not like it was necessary because Ptolemy knew that in a matter of hours everything would spread.
How their King himself attacked one of his loyal generals in a drunken rage. He tried not to think about the consequences this would bring to everyone in the future.
After a few minutes, Ptolemy woke the King's doctor and took him to where Cleitus was. Still at the banquet tent, but it had emptied. Alexander and Hephaestion were not present, Cassander had withdrawn along with Nearchus. The only ones there were, obviously, Cleitus, Perdiccas and (Y/N).
He tried not to think too much about the last one who was looking at Cleitus with an expression he couldn't decipher.
''By the gods.'' Philip, the doctor, said some prayer and knelt beside Cleitus. ''What happened to him? I don't remember us being in battle.''
''And we're not.'' Ptolemy replied, unsure whether or not he should tell the truth, but Philip would eventually find out, ''Alexander stabbed him.''
Philip frowned but decided not to make anything more important. Ptolemy was grateful for it.
''C-Can you save him?'' The three men present turned their heads to (Y/N) after she finally spoke up after everything that had happened.
''I can try, but...''
''But?'' Perdiccas tried to encourage the doctor, but Ptolemy didn't miss the look his friend had given to (Y/N). A concerned and loving look.
He tried not to think about it either.
''It's a cut on the abdomen and very deep, I don't know...'' He didn't finish the sentence but it wasn't necessary. Everyone already knew; the chances of Cleitus surviving were low.
''I can help.'' (Y/N)'s firm and determined voice surprised everyone.
''You can help?'' Philip asked, confused and suspicious.
(Y/N) nodded, ''Yes, I have... Uh, I know a little about medicine, maybe I can help.''
Her words surprised everyone.
''I don't know if-'' Philip was cut off.
''I know what I am doing. Trust me...'' Ptolemy was surprised to see (Y/N)'s beautiful eyes filled with tears and that sight gave him an uncomfortable tightness in his chest, ''Please...''
Please. It had been so long since Ptolemy had heard those words and he had forgotten how much power they had.
''Let her help.'' Ptolemy ordered the doctor who, feeling sullen by the looks of both generals present, reluctantly accepted (Y/N)'s help.
Tumblr media
Alexander was sitting on the floor, with his back against a cot.
The powerful undefeated King now found himself defeated. Defeated by his own guilt and his inner demons.
He could feel nothing but the purest remorse.
He didn't understand why he had done that.
Why had he stabbed his general? His friend? He couldn't understand what had gotten into him.
That was what had occurred to him in the moment of his drunken rage.
The only thing Alexander remembered was the anger he had felt. From the hatred that had consumed him like fire when he was disapproved of by his friend. And he regretted that.
Oh, for Zeus, and how he regretted that. He would regret this for the rest of his life.
Would Cleitus live? Only the gods could say. Alexander had never felt so helpless in his life as he did now.
So useless.
He didn't know what to do or how he had gotten to Hephaestion's tent. He had vague memories of his friend and Craterus carrying him to Hephaestion's tent to rest. How he could rest was beyond him.
The gods had a cruel sense of humor, the King scoffed. It was supposed to be a special, fun occasion. He would announce his intentions to marry (Y/N) and everyone would celebrate the fact that he was finally getting married. They would drink and eat, as they always did, but that was not what happened.
It was Cleitus's fault, he told himself. If he hadn't dared to disapprove, show contempt for Alexander's choice in public this wouldn't have happened.
But at the end of it all, there was no one to blame but himself.
Alexander might as well have drowned in his own lament or in his wine. He didn't care, he just needed to get rid of these terrible thoughts that were eating him from the inside out.
''More wine.'' He ordered a page who had entered the tent he was occupying at that moment. The boy looked at him with remorse and this only increased Alexander's anger.
He clicked his tongue.
''Now!''
The page didn't need to be told three times, he ran out of Hephaestion's tent, leaving the King alone again. Alexander didn't know where the others were, probably with Cleitus.
Alexander buried his head in his chest and this time, he didn't fight the tears that fell.
When the page brought the jug of wine, he poured it into his cup and sent him away. Alexander didn't want to be alone, but he didn't want to be seen in such a broken state.
Alexander drank the wine and closed his eyes, hot with tears. Was he really a monster?
''Alexander...'' Hephaestion's ever calm voice filled the silent tent.
Alexander smiled but refused to open his eyes.
Hephaestion knelt down beside his friend and hugged him. No words needed to be said between them.
Alexander was grateful for this and hugged his friend back.

It was Christmas Eve in the city, and twinkling lights decorated the streets, transforming the place into a spectacle of vibrant colors. The tall buildings sparkled with festive garlands and decorations, reflecting the Christmas spirit that enveloped everyone.
In the central squares, a special fair enchanted passers-by. Stalls sold everything from traditional gastronomic delights to unique crafts, while local musicians played Christmas carols, filling the air with comforting melodies.
Families strolled the streets, wrapped in warm coats and warm smiles. Children ran excitedly, eager for Santa Claus to arrive. The artificial snow fell gently, creating a magical setting for that special moment.
In a cozy apartment, a strange group were gathered to share stories and gifts or try to understand Christmas traditions. Laughter echoed in the corners, mixing with the aroma of hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies.
It was chaos. Your apartment was in chaos. A baby crying, men fighting about everything and asking you questions that irritated you deeply. But it was almost Christmas and you weren't going to let your bad mood or the fights those men were having ruin that day. You were almost certain that one of your neighbors would call the police if they continued like this.
''(Y/N), how does this even work?'' You turned to the person who asked you and smiled slightly when you noticed Hephaestion holding some rolled up blinkers in his hand. He looked at them as if they were the most perplexing and enigmatic thing in the world. Maybe, for him, it really was.
''You have to curl up against the tree and I'll do the rest.'' You explained, as you rocked Cyrus in your arms, trying to make him take a nap.
Hephaestion frowned and stared at the wires with suspicion shining in his eyes but headed towards the Christmas tree that stood in the middle of your living room.
''(Y/N)!'' You looked at Nearchus who appeared from your kitchen with an empty white ceramic cup, previously filled with hot chocolate, ''Do you have any more of that? It's delicious.''
A corner of your mouth curled up, ''On the stove.'' He stared at you confused, still not understanding the modern words properly, ''On top of the huge iron box.'' You explained gently. Nearchus winked at you and headed towards your kitchen, looking for more hot chocolate.
You ignored the others as you led Cyrus to his room, careful not to wake him. You smiled when you saw Alexander sitting in the armchair next to a crib, with Aella in his arms.
''Shh…'' He whispered to you, cradling the little princess in his arms carefully, ''She fell asleep just now.''
''This one,'' You nodded to the baby on her lap, ''also just fell asleep.''
Alexander smiled and carefully got up from the chair and placed Aella in the crib, stroking the baby's serene face in the process. You followed his lead, placing Cyrus next to his sister.
''How are the others?'' He asked you after pulling you into a hug, wrapping his arms around your waist. You smiled and placed your head on his shoulder.
''Well I think. Cleitus and Cassander were fighting over some ornaments and poor Hephaestion looked like his mind was going to break trying to untangle the blinkers.''
He laughed at your response and pulled away a little, kissing your forehead affectionately.
''It will take time for them to… Get used to all this. The gods know how long it took me.'' You suppressed a laugh as you remembered the first time he arrived in the modern world. Curiosity like that of a child or the time he wanted to attack a car because he thought it was a monster.
Gods, you had so much fun during that time. You would always fondly remember those memories.
''I can't believe it's been a year since all that.'' You mumbled. Alexander caressed your face with the palm of his hand, squeezing your cheek gently.
''Neither do I.'' He replied and kissed your lips quickly.
You smiled, your gaze sweet. Alexander blinked at you, all in love. Oh, you really loved that man. That time when you were scared and terrified was gone, now you were in love.
Hell, you were a woman in love, married with two children. There it is, something you never thought would happen so soon.
"Do you know about Perdiccas?" Alexander's body stiffened at the mention of his General and he slowly nodded yes, "Where is he then?"
Alexander shrugged, but you noticed the tension there, the anger, the barely contained jealousy, "On the balcony."
You nodded and kissed his lips passionately, "Try to be kinder to him. Perdiccas made mistakes in the past, but he doesn't deserve to be ignored or despised by you or anyone else. It was just a mistake and to make mistakes is human."
Alexander frowned, irritated, "I would hardly call that a mistake."
You bit your lower lip, remembering the fury, the hatred that Alexander had become when he found out about his General, his friend, plans. He had been so hurt and so furious, it had been a miracle that Perdiccas was not executed.
A miracle thanks to you, who convinced him otherwise. You shook your head quickly, as if you were trying to get rid of the bad thoughts that were plaguing you. From those dark and pain-filled days.
Everything was in the past now.
"It's Christmas time, time to forgive." You batted your eyelashes at him and Alexander smiled.
"I don't celebrate Christmas. But I can't deny that it's an interesting holiday." Alexander murmured and you stroked his stubble, "But I'll try my best for you."
"Thank you. That will be enough." You kissed him quickly and left the twins' bedroom, going to the apartment's balcony. You rolled your eyes in amusement as you passed by the room, hearing Cassander and Cleitus fighting over who should put the star on top of the tree. Hephaestion called them idiots and Ptolemy and Nearchus just laughed.
You opened the balcony door and immediately a wave of cold passed through your bones and you shivered a little, even more so when you saw Perdiccas sitting on a bench there and watching the decorated street, the cars and the people walking hurriedly.
"Everyone seems rushed." Perdiccas commented, without taking his eyes off the street. His face was pale and his lips were slightly chapped from the cold.
Your heart sank when you saw him like that. Despite everything you've been through, the mistakes you made, the pain… You would always care about him.
Sighing heavily, you sat down next to him, hissing when you felt your legs go cold.
Perdiccas finally turned to you and there was a deep sadness in those once warm and gentle eyes.
"It's Christmas…" You mumbled, not knowing what to say. It used to be so easy to talk to him, but now it was like there was a ball in your throat that prevented you from talking.
Perdiccas just stared at you, longing shining in his eyes.
"I-It's cold out here… You should go inside, you might catch a cold or something worse." You mumbled, curling your toes.
"I don't think the others would like that." Perdiccas shook his head, looking at his feet.
"Don't say that. Ptolemy asked about you just now." You murmured, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Perdiccas laughed softly, but it was a sad laugh, "There's no need to lie, (Y/N). I know how you all of you feel about me, after everything that's happened."
You shook your head, "No, you don't. The others have nothing to do with what happened, they don't know everything. Only you and I know the truth."
Perdiccas pursed his chapped lips, "It makes no difference to them. Alexander hates me and because of that, they hate me."
Your heart ached at how sad, how broken Perdiccas's voice had sounded.
"I don't hate you and neither will anyone ever hate you." You smiled at him and stood up, facing him, "Come with us. It's Christmas, a time of peace and reconciliation."
Perdiccas just stared at your hand as you held it out to him, "I… I'm not familiar with Christmas…"
You smiled widely, "Then I would be happy to give you a history lesson on Christmas and what it means."
For the first time, Perdiccas' eyes shone with something other than sadness. Hope. A spark of hope shone in those beautiful blue eyes.
When he held your hand and stood up, discreetly stroking your gloved fingers, it didn't seem so cold anymore.
Tumblr media
The hours passed quickly and although Perdiccas was reluctant, he sat down with his former friends and to his surprise, everyone was kind. Even Cassander held his tongue.
They were sharing childhood stories while you and Alexander fixed the tree. It was a little late to put up your tree, considering it was December 24th, but you hadn't had time these last few days.
Aella and Cyrus had already woken up from their nap and were being held by Hephaestion and Cleitus, who were playing with the babies.
As the night continued, you drank, some wine and some hot chocolate. Since you were still breastfeeding, you only drank hot chocolate.
"So what's the story of Christmas?" Cleitus asked. Everyone turned to you. Even Perdiccas, who had already heard the story.
"It depends on the culture, but the general consensus is that it is the birth of Jesus Christ." You said, adjusting a little ball.
"Jesus Christ?" Ptolemy asked, confused.
"The Savior, son of God for the Christian Religion. They say he was born on December 25th and since then we celebrate Christmas." You explained, after finishing arranging the tree. You sat on the couch, next to Hephaestion and Alexander followed suit.
"Oh…" Cassander said, drinking some wine.
"But the historical origin says that Christmas has its roots in pagan Winter Solstice celebrations, later adapted by the Christian Church in the fourth century to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. December 25th was chosen as the official date for this celebration ." You explained, remembering what you had read in a history book once.
They just nodded, not understanding everything you said. You laughed softly.
It was different, a different Christmas. You always spent it with your family or friends, but never with men from the past, literally. It was fun and iconic.
"Ah, it's almost midnight!" You exclaimed as you looked at the clock, it was just a few minutes until Christmas. You looked at your children and smiled.
While they waited for midnight, Ptolemy and Perdiccas talked about something. Cassander, Cleitus and Nearchus argued about an old childhood story and Hephaestion, Alexander and you just watched the twins with affection.
When it finally struck midnight, you got up from the couch and started hugging them and wishing them Merry Christmas. They looked confused but hugged you back and congratulated you the same.
They began to do the same to each other. You watched happily, until it was Perdiccas and Alexander's turn. You felt your hands start to sweat.
Alexander quickly looked at you and said, "Merry Christmas, my friend."
Gasps were heard, but you didn't listen, you just watched them. The way Perdiccas' face lit up and he hugged Alexander.
"Merry Christmas, my friend." Perdiccas said, hugging Alexander.
You smiled, feeling tears on his face. It seemed that peace would finally reign again. Christmas truly was a time of peace and reconciliation.

Chapter 3
''I wouldn't trust her if I were you, Alexander.''
Alexander looks up at the map he was studying when Parmenion decided to speak. He stared at the general, waiting for him to finish speaking.
''We don't know anything about her and there's clearly something wrong about her.'' Parmenion finished speaking, feeling slightly disturbed by the King's piercing gaze.
''I wouldn't trust her either if I were Parmenion, but I'm Alexander.'' He replied, turning his eyes to the map. It was a map of the most convenient routes for the entire army to pass. They were hunting Bessus and the best choice would be Bactria.
Alexander smirked when he heard a light laughter and he didn't even need to look to know it was Hephaestion. His best friend and closest companion forever. Alexander wouldn't know what to do if something happened to him.
''We don't know anything about her, as you say,'' Alexander began, looking at Parmenion again, ''which is why I have decided that she is not a threat.''
''And how can you be sure of that?'' Cassander grumbled loudly. Alexander looked at him with a stern expression, but the general didn't even flinch.
''Are you questioning your King?'' His voice was low but deadly. A pretty clear warning.
Apparently Cassander had no self-preservation as he glared at Alexander with a hateful expression on his face. The King leered at him as if daring him to say something.
Wisely, Cassander kept silent.
Satisfied with that, Alexander continued to speak, ''She's just a confused young woman. What risks might it present to an army? For Alexander's army?''
No one answered.
Tumblr media
Running away wasn't the most viable option, you realized very quickly. And besides, where would you go?
You didn't know anything about this place, the people and you were very far from home. Both in distance and in time.
So how would you run away? If you ran away it would be worse for you. They might not be so... Benevolent. And bad things could happen to you. You could be robbed, abused, murdered or even enslaved.
So no, running away was definitely not a viable option. For now.
You needed a plan. A strategy. You needed to survive at any cost. It was no longer a choice, it was a necessity. You couldn't go on any longer in that time, you needed to go back to your home, your family and your friends.
Your family...
Your heart squeezed inside your chest at the thought of your parents. You hadn't thought about them since you came across this place.
How were they? Had they already noticed your absence? Fuck, you felt like crying again. Your mind conjuring up images of your parents devastated by your disappearance, and that is if they even know you're gone. Your vision blurred as more tears rolled down your face.
You hated crying that much. You hated that feeling of desperation, like there was a lurking monster waiting to attack you.
Your eyes were already stinging from your previous bout of crying and they stinged even more as new tears formed. You wanted to stop crying, you wanted to pretend that this was a nightmare and you would wake up in your comfortable bed, that there would be walls around your instead of a tent canvas, that there would be LED lights and electronic devices around your and not candles and an empty tent.
You hated hearing the noise of the soldiers outside, the horses and the swords waving.
You hated it all.
''Excuse me?''
Your head whipped around at the sound of a voice and it honestly hurt a little. You tried to look at the man but your vision was blurry from tears, but you recognized him as the man you had found attractive.
The one with the blond hair and dark blue eyes.
''Wh-What do you want?'' Your voice was choked and harsher than you expected, but it didn't matter at the moment.
''I...'' He faltered for a moment at the sight of you crying and his chest tightened at the sight, ''I came to check on you.''
You frowned but decided not to argue.
He took a step forward, approaching the cot where you were sitting and collapsing.
''Are you... okay?'' His voice was low but there was genuine concern.
You looked up, still teary-eyed, and he fell silent instantly.
''May I?'' He pointed to the cot beside you. You thought for a moment and nodded. The cot moved a little as he sat down next to you, his shoulders close to yours and thighs almost touching. You shuddered a little at the contact, but you kept silent, trying to stop the tears.
''Your name is (Y/N), right?'' You nodded at his question, ''I'm Perdiccas. It's an honor to meet you.''
Perdiccas...
His name was not unfamiliar to you and you choked on your own saliva as you remembered who he was. He was the regent of Alexander's Empire after the latter's death.
He smiled at you and your heart skipped a beat to see him smiling. Perdiccas reached up with callused fingers and touched your cheekbones, wiping away the tears. You blushed at the touch but allowed him to wipe away your tears.
''Th-Thanks...'' You mumbled and he just nodded.
''You shouldn't cry.'' He whispered and closed his eyes, ''It doesn't suit you.''
You arched your eyebrows. Doesn't suit you? For the love God! He didn't even know you and talked like you were best friends.
''I'm sorry but you don't know me to say whether it suits me or not. You doesn't know anything about me.'' You decided to be direct. He seemed to be kind, at least that's what you assumed, it didn't look like he wanted to hurt you.
Perdiccas laughed a little, ''You're right. I don't know you but I'd love to do it.'' He said and got up from the cot, smiling gently at you.
''Why?''
He shrugged, walking to the flap of the tent. ''I don't know.'' Perdiccas confessed, still smiling at you, ''But I wish I could be your friend, (Y/N). Am I pronouncing your name right?''
''Yes...''
Perdiccas bowed slightly, in an act of play, you know. Greeks bow to none but the gods.
''I hope to see you tonight.''
You got confused, ''Tonight? What's happening tonight?''
Perdiccas chuckled, “A feast in Alexander's tent. You were invited.''
What?
''Oh...'' You frowned, ''I don't have anything to wear...'' You tried to come up with an excuse for not having to attend and that was the only one you thought of at that moment.
But apparently that would not be accepted.
''Don't worry about that. I'll send you a chiton, along with some jewelry.'' Your eyes widened upon hearing his words.
''I...''
Perdiccas laughed, ''Thank me later. But I hope to see you there, (Y/N). I wish I could be your friend...'' He left before you could answer him.
Oh dear... It was all so...
Unbelievable.
And Perdiccas was even more so. Why was he being so nice to you? And why do you like it?
Your mind screamed desperately for you not to trust anyone but yourself, but your heart... Your heart told you to make friends, allies and maybe they could help you get back home.
Yes. Maybe making friends with Perdiccas isn't so bad after all.
Your heart will be your downfall.
Tumblr media
You feel awkward and uncomfortable while being washed by servants sent by Perdiccas. You assumed so since he was the only one talking to you.
You tried to avoid it at first, but they wouldn't have it and soon you found yourself undressed and being bathed.
You were sure this was your most embarrassing moment in the world. You haven't needed help bathing since you were a small child and now...
Here you were having your hair and your body washed. Your face and body were totally red with embarrassment and you were even redder when you were pulled out of the water and dressed.
''This is so inconvenient,'' you thought as a servant adorned your hair with a jewel General Perdiccas sent you.
''There, lady.'' She said and bowed slightly, leaving the tent along with the other maids as you were dressed for the feast.
You didn't know what you looked like, you didn't know if you looked pretty or if you looked like a clown. You prayed it wasn't the last option. There were no mirrors available, so you decided to trust the servants' judgment.
You were dressed in a white chiton with some gold straps, it looked quite nice, although loose but it made you more comfortable. An ancient greek sandal and some lent jewelry. You took a deep breath, trying to calm the panic that started to build in your body.
You could do this.
You could go to that feast, make allies, and when you finally did, leave this place.
''Are you ready?'' Your eyes went towards Perdiccas, standing at the entrance of the tent and looking at you with shining eyes. You studied him a bit, noting that he was also well dressed, no armor or weapons in sight, just a white chiton and a few ornaments.
You nodded nervously and let him walk over and hook your arm through his.
You would do it. You would make it.
And so, close to each other, you and Perdiccas started walking to where the feast would be, the loud noise welcoming you.

— lady l: weren't you expecting a chapter today? Well, neither do I! I planned to post on saturday but as I'm going to travel, so here it is. I know there were no interactions between Y/N and Alexander, but I wanted to show how her relationship with one of the generals will be! In the next chapter there will be interactions between Y/N and Alexander! I hope you like it and forgive me for any mistakes! If you want to talk, send theories or anything, I'm always open. I love you all! ❤️

So, you know the story about how Alexander the Great's horse was kidnapped and he went on a rampage? Well, how do you think Alexander of your Lost Queen fic if yn was kidnapped, or if someone tried to assassinate or hurt her? I personally imagine the situation being 1000X worse, especially when you factor in the generals, but what do you think?
...I'm sorry to tell you, but the entire town was slaughtered and its survivors were sold into slavery...
By the gods, if Y/n was kidnapped, Alexander would go into a berserk rage that no one would want to come near him without fear of being executed. He would kill everyone, even the innocent ones, they will set an example so that no one would ever think of taking the Great King's wife from him again.
Rumor has it that the river near the city was stained red with the blood of the corpses of the city's population.
The generals would be upset too. They have all developed feelings (yandere-) for their Queen and will be just as furious as Alexander and will show no mercy to anyone until she is back safe and sound. Everyone in the army will walk on eggshells until Y/n is brought back.
I can see the generals who would get crazier would be Cassander (duh-), Cleitus, Philotas, and even Hephaestion. The others will be more controlled, like Ptolemy and Perdiccas, but they will still be furious.
Now if an assassination attempt were to be made, aside from the obvious fact that the assassin will be tortured before dying, Alexander will become even more paranoid about her safety and Y/n will not be allowed to leave without the strongest and most loyal guards, even to go to the bathroom she will not be able to go alone. He will be suffocating and everyone will applaud his attitude.
After all, he is only protecting his beloved wife.

Ok, so I know that there are two other asks from me that you've yet to answer, but I have another thought I'd like to share/get off of my chest. You can ignore it if you want...
Just a heads up, it's kinda dark ⚠️
I would be fucking terrified of Roxanna in Reader's position. We know what she can and will do (case and point Stateira and Parysatis) to get what she wants. And depending on how insecure Reader is, she may secretly fear that Alexander would side with Roxanna if things came to a boiling point (ie attempted poisoning, physical altercation etc). No matter how much Alexander says he loves her and only her, Roxanna is the most beautiful woman in Persia, and their marriage makes more diplomatic sense.
This is going to be really dark, but would your Reader ever consider 'taking care' of Roxanna? It's one thing for Reader to only worry about her own hide, but if there are young children involved, well, that changes everything. There is also the matter of Stateira and Parysatis. You've hinted that Reader will become close with them. Perhaps fearing for her children's safety, and wanting to save her friends from a horrible fate, she decides to act?
Idk, my experiences with bullying during High School would probably compel me to strike before I or those I care about get hurt/killed and my background in biology has taught me a few ways to 'handle things' discreetly. Besides, it's not like they did autopsies over 2000 years ago. Also, Cassander had her and her son poisoned after Alexander's death in real life so it could be seen as just ... speeding things up??
So, that was dark, but its past midnight where I am rn, and I needed to get it off my chest before I could sleep. And who better to pester than you?
Thanks for reading!
--O-
I don't judge you, anon. I would also be terrified if it was me in this situation, plus the fact that I'm over 2,000 years in the past, I'd still have to deal with a lot of political shit and yandere. And Roxanna is not going to be easy to deal with.
She is absolutely possessive of Alexander and seeing her history with poor Stateira and Parysatis... Yes, I would be scared as hell, especially if I had children who would be in danger because of her.
Alexander will have a very big role to play in regards to Roxanna and Y/n's relationship, especially during Y/n's pregnancy. One spoiler I will give is: he will not tolerate any threat that may come to Y/n and the twins.
According to some historical sources, one of the reasons, if not the main reason, that Roxanna murdered Stateira was because she was also pregnant with Alexander, and she did not want any threat to her son's position. The plan backfired, however, because Cassander had her and her son killed in the end.
Maybe I'll decide to keep it in fanfic.
About the Reader deciding to deal with Roxanna... I can arrange that, but it will vary from the situation, but yes, our Y/n is smart and she knows what happened or, what should happen. And her being friends with Stateira and Parysatis and pregnant... There are big reasons for her to decide to do something about all of this.
I get it, I was bullied for years and I regret not taking action when I could, but it never really paid off when I decided to do something. What happened last year is a great example of that, but whatever. And I'm studying pharmacy technician and I've learned ways to deal with someone permanently, not that I'm going to do that, but I can always incorporate that into the story.
Mainly because Y/n will have basic knowledge of modern medicine or even more depending on what I choose.
Always feel free to send me your thoughts, anons! I'm happy to read them and answer them, even if sometimes it can take a while! <3

I started to think about the Yandere Alexander fanfic and I was thinking if Cleitus lives he would make a good Yandere enemies to lovers with reader. What do you think about it is it a good idea 💭?❤️❤️❤️
Oh, Cleitus...
I always thought of Cassander as enemies to lovers, but I intend to keep our friend a true platonic. Now Cleitus... He is complicated and not much is known about his life and his relationship with Y/n will be controversial.
Especially after he got stabbed. Well, if he lives.
I think it is, but I don't know if it would make him a romantic yandere or a Y/n lover. That would bring more heartache and drama for her but I like the idea of them being enemies to lovers...
Hmm... 👀🫣
