Yandere!Kazuki who spots you for the first time at the daycare. The first thing he notices is your smile. The way your eyes curve and your cheeks move when you laugh at a story one of the mothers tells you. The way you notice him and send a friendly smile his way. The way you squat when talking to the kids surrounding your group.

Yandere!Kazuki who, after leaving Miri in Anna’s care, watches you a bit longer to figure out which one of the kids are yours. He lingers around, chatting about nothing with another parent while his eyes follow your form.

Yandere!Kazuki who sees you saying goodbye to a small, thin boy, whose eyes twitch just that bit when he sees the kid placing a smooch on your cheek, feeling jealousy bubbling in his stomach already.   

Yandere!Kazuki who wonders just how old you were when you became a parent, seeing as you seem to be in your mid twenties tops. Who grimaces as several scenarios already cross his mind. Darker scenes flood his brain, images, innocent and naughty, weasel their way before his eyes and his blood flowing down.

Yandere!Kazuki who snaps a quick pic of you, one he immediately sends to Rei to wager his opinion of you. Rei, of course, is immediately heads over heels for you. How could he not, seeing as you embody a kind of elegance and innocence rarely found, especially in their kind of field. 

Yandere!Kazuki who starts encouraging Miri to befriend your kid, telling her that he seems to be nice and would make a good friend. Of course, his goal is way less innocent than for Miri to find playmates.

Yandere!Kazuki who starts chatting with you in the afternoon. He walks up, Miri in hand, and greets you with a cheeky smile. He lets Miri play with your son, while striking up a convo with you. You smile at him a lot, he notices. His heart starts to swell, and so does a part down below. Fuck. You really are too cute, he thinks, hoping that his phone catches a clear recording of your voice.

Yandere!Kazuki who, to his pleasant surprise, finds out that the kid isn’t yours, instead, he is your little brother. Your Parents have a lot on their plate, you disclose, an embarrassed blush coating your cheeks. You decided to step up and take care of him, despite having little time already due to your job. “It works fine, though.” you tell him, a coy smile dancing on your lips. “Luckily I have a partner who keeps the house safe.” You laugh, though, in his view, it seems forced. His eyes follow you as you say goodbye, holding your little brother's hand.

Yandere!Kazuki who feels a knife twist in his bowles as he spots you meeting with a man at the gate. His face darkens, seeing how you apologetically rub the back of your neck as this person, the partner you mentioned? He cringes at that thought-, talks to you, gripping your hand just a bit too hard, raising his voice just a bit too loud. Loud enough for him to hear and certainly loud enough to be picked up by his phone.

Yandere!Kazuki who secretly places a GPS-tracking device on you, under the disguise of brushing some pedals off of your bag. He traces your every move and Rei spends every free minute he can spare following you, protecting you.

Yandere!Kazuki who never spends a single second pondering if your relationship might be a healthy one, of course it couldn't be, after all, this man is neither him nor Rei. In their mind, your partner is a slob. An abusive, lazy piece of work who would never appreciate you the way you deserve.  Yandere!Kazuki who’s gears start turning and, after a lengthy discussion with Rei, decides to help you, save you. After all, how could someone so sweet, so innocent protect themselves against this big, evil world?

Imagawa Yoshimoto (VA: Yashiro Taku): MY BOI. It's funny how he voices angsty and sad characters in ikeseries but HE'S SO CUTE AND WHOLESOME IN DRAMA CDS. I love him in Switching best.

Uesugi Kenshin (VA: Miura Hiroaki): I am averse to yandere characters, but in this one he did, he's a tsundere. NOW I LIKE KENSHIN BY ASSOCIATION. Miura's drama cd is one of my favorites, sad but romantic.

Sarutobi Sasuke (VA: Akabane Kenji): None, iirc.

Naoe Kanetsugu (VA: Nakagawa Akinori): None. I don't know if he's done sfw ones, but I'd be willing to listen to them, just so I can add more Kanetsugu voice reference lol

Kennyo (VA: Shingaki Tarusuke): Hehe. Hehehehe. Heh. It's been a while, I want to hear him again. Especially when he whispers against my ear amidst a packed train. I also liked his cute and flustered daycare employee cd. HA. SE. BAE.

Mori Ranmaru (VA: Aoi Shouta): None, as far as I know. I think he'd get a kick out of it, though.

Mouri Motonari (VA: Konishi Katsuyuki): None. He does sfw ones? How sfw are Cybird CDs?

Kicho (VA: Kaji Yuuki): None, but I remember he did a mature one where's he's like a yandere and a do-S and just whips you while laughing maniacally. I don't know, that was a long time ago. I didn't even remember if there were ever spicy scenes; I just remember the whipping lol

Ikemen Revolution

This game is, like, the treasure trove of R18 voice actors. 13 out of 17 have done at least one R18 drama cd. Well done, IkeRev!

Lancelot Kingsley (VA: Okamoto Nobuhiko): None, sfw only. He usually uses his cute voice for these CDs.

Jonah Clemence (VA: Hanae Natsuki): Yes, early on. I think he stopped after he married. Listened to two of his CDs, his voice is too soft for my tastes. He does good moaning and whining.

Edgar Bright (VA: Yashiro Taku): see Imagawa Yoshimoto

Zero (VA: Kumagai Kentarou): MY LOVE, MY CURRENT OBSESSION. He does desperate, drugged out, and angry-at-life so well. His moans and kisses are 💯 I prefer his boyishly youthful voice than his deeper one. When he hits that high-pitched whine *chef's kiss* He comes so prettily *dreamy sigh*

Kyle Ash (VA: Furukawa Makoto): What a man, what a voice. Personally I liked his earlier works because there were more variety in the plots and characters, but I think he works best with plotty CDs and/or emotional drama. Rouge et Noir comes to mind; REUNION for the drama. I enjoy the CDs where his voice is cooler, not too high-pitched, not too deep. He sighs when he kisses, and it sounds divine.

Ray Blackwell (VA: Shimono Hiro): He did a few early in the r18 drama cd years. I remember the one where he was a yandere butler. It was also a mobile game, but I didn't know which came first (I think the game). There was also that teacher x student cd. He also did Wasurenagusa as Todo Heisuke iirc.

Sirius Oswald (VA: Suwabe Junichi): None. This man was born with a velvet voice bUT FOR WHAT

Luka Clemence (VA: Enoki Junya): He has a recognizable voice (makes me think of aluminium idkw). He did an angsty incest one and a servant to a lady one. They're okay. His orgasms need more work, though.

Fenrir Godspeed (VA: Kakihara Tetsuya): Semi-active. My fave is the one where he's childhood friends with the MC and has a badboy/playboy rep but he's actually a virgin I think, or at least acts like a blushing maiden when he did it with the MC (who takes control of the sex). He's vocal in this one; he cried at one point because he came prematurely. It's funny and I love it.

Seth Hyde (VA: Murata Taishi): PLEASE. PLEASE LISTEN TO KOIBITO VS NIJIGEN VOL 1. HE'S JEALOUS OF MC'S OSHI LMAO IT'S SO META AND HILARIOUS I LOVE IT.

Harr Silver (VA: Terashima Junta): I'll buy any r18 cd this man makes, period.

Loki Genetta (VA: Murase Ayumu): He did one. Like Hanae, his voice is too soft for my taste. He did, however, once choked on a candy trying to emulate blowjob noises for a BLCD, I don't know what else to tell you.

Blanc Lapin (VA: Shirai Yusuke): CHAOTIC KING. A couple of times, he tried to insert objects up his ass, just to know what it feels like lmao. What dedication. I liked his first R18 otome drama cd where he's a submissive and breedable pirate subordinate (MC is the pirate captain).

Oliver Knight (VA: Hamano Daiki): He did some. Haven't listened to any of them though.

Mousse Atlas (VA: Toki Shunichi): He did one! Around the same time with Yamaya. At the time I was liking him for voicing Ginji in Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi. Haven't listened to it though. Also did a few more.

Comte de Saint-Germain (VA: Horie Kazuma): Yes, way back when, which explains why he's so good at ear-whispering. I only know he worked for one series (and sequels) where he's a tsundere student council vice president (?). A CONFESSION: I listened to his drama cds when I was writing That Comte Fic in order to capture the mood of the sexual tension.

Sebastian (VA: Morishima Shuta): None. After watching him in Cybird events, I'd probably laugh at him or pity him. I can no longer imagine him doing R18 based on his Cybird hyper host image.

Vlad (VA: Saito Soma): None. Shame. I really want to hear more of Vlad 😏

Johann Georg Faust (VA: Kamio Shinichiro): None. With his voice, I'd rather he read erotica to me.

Nasu no Yoichi (VA: Suzuki Ryouta): I know he did some before, heard a couple of his. Could've been better. (Tbf, this was during the time when R18 drama CDs were just starting out. So I think many key players were new to it, compared with BLCD.)

Kurama (VA: Morikawa Toshiyuki): I can't have Sephiroth whispering in my ear lol. That aside, I really couldn't imagine him doing R18 because he's known to voice iconic characters. And yet here we are. His Yamazaki Susumu in Wasurenagusa took me out because of his drunk line, "Nyaruhodo." I will never look at Sephiroth the same way again lmao. But yeah, I haven't listened to his works properly because they were made years ago.

Kitsuji Sueharu (VA: Komatsu Shohei): MY NEW FAVE, MY NEW LOVE, MY NEW OBSESSION OH MY GOD?! I haven't bought any of his works (WHICH I SHOULD REMEDY IN THE FUTURE) but from the sample of this one CD I – I JUST. H-He's good. I love the sound of his panting 😭

Ikemen Live

I'd like to mention here that I love KENN's character in Yuugen Romantica. It's not R18, but that is one of the few sfw drama CD series that I listen to and enjoy.

Chigusa Kyouichirou (VA: Itou Kento): Deep voice, cute high-pitched moans! Love him.

Fujishiro Meguru (VA: Kuroda Takaya): Haven't listened to his works yet.

Mashiro Kanade (VA: Fukamachi Toshinari): Only found one, and wow. Gosh. What an aggressive CD 😂

William Rex (VA: Tachibana Shinnosuke): I AM SO FOND OF HIS VOICE. What's funny is that my favorite works of his are not R18. Wasurenagusa is probably my ultimate fave out of his CDs. Primarily because he used his ax crazy voice there. I AM LIVING FOR HIS AX CRAZY, MANIACAL VOICE. It's *chef's kiss* perfection. He also did one in Midnight Jiang Shis. But for R18 I like his Otona no Meruhen best. He often portrays do-S characters, but I want him to do more do-M.

Harrison Gray (VA: Sugiyama Noriaki): I know a couple! Girl's Therapist where he's a beautician and Otona no Meruhen where he's a tsundere wolfboy. He puts the uke in Sasuke huh lol Recently listened again to his wolfboy cd. It's entertaining enough (the story was more entertaining than the sex scenes lmao [but that's a given in Otona no Meruhen series]).

Victor (VA: Takahashi Hiroki): I'm surprised he has one; haven't listened to it though.

Cybird drama CDs may have spicy moments, but since they're using the voice actors' names, I'm pretty sure that they don't include R18 scenes; hence, this list. Similarities between two of my favorite orange-top cool kids of anime: Tsukasa Kazuki and Kyo Sohma

1. Both have this cool demeanor that they put on in front of most people (seeming rude and reserved), but they can let loose and act comfortable around people they really trust.

2. Both have traumatic pasts that have affected their relationships with their fathers and others, but it’s over something that they had no control over. Part of why they seem cold towards others is because they don’t want to bring people into their trauma.

For Kazuki, he was creepily stalked by a yandere woman, and his father blames him for leading her on.

For Kyo, he not only has the trauma of his mother’s death (which his father blames him for), but also the death of the love of his life’s mother.

3. Both show qualities of being great cooks.

Some frank spoilery thoughts on Tribe Nine episode 9 (heh):

*Ota's zerg rush of runners was a hilarious galaxy brain move, if nothing else.

*It was very, very easy to see coming from a million miles away that Minato Tribe would all forgive Kazuki and accept him as a True Nakama, and that Kazuki would admit that he liked being with them after all.

*Rejoice, Ojiro fangirls! Your husbando is confirmed redeemable and Minato Tribe are going to save him in defeat-equals-friendship fashion and make him smile again and have him finally see the fun in playing XB!

*I still like Enoki, but I liked her more when she was with Ota Tribe smiling at people getting cut up and squashed by falling billboards. Shame she'll probably just be Taiga's unwanted yandere waifu now, and doubly so if she ends up actually joining Minato Tribe. (Also, holy sexism when Haru and Taiga faced her...)

*I'm about 50-50 on whether or not Fucho actually died at the end. On one hand, his last line sounded very much like Last Words, and being killed by Kiyoshiro seems like a fitting end for him. On the other hand, we don't see what happened after Kiyoshiro brought his knife down, and IIRC one of Kiyoshiro's voice sample lines on the official site is something like "huh, why'd I let you live?!", so as far as I'm concerned Fucho's death is far from guranteed (plus we've seen he can easily snap his bones back into place, so who knows what else he can survive). I personally want to believe he's still alive, because I was hoping to see at least a little bit more out of him, but I guess we'll find out in a week or two or three's time.

*Meanwhile, I think it's 99% guranteed that Tenshin is dead for real. (Holy shit, a plot twist I didn't necessarily predict!) No way could that old man have survived a punch from Ojiro that practically caved his chest in... good riddance, to be honest. He was a total cartoon villain anyway, so he had to go, and if this show's going to have any actual character deaths other than Shun then Tenshin absolutely should be one of them.

*Did this episode completely forget about Yasuhiro? He didn't show up or get mentioned at all, after that whole thing with him in last week's ep. I was surprised he got brought back in the first place, as I thought he was just a throwaway character who only existed to establish Haru as a bullied woobie in the first ep; if the narrative wasn't going to bother with actually doing anything of value with him, even if that thing was just showing how far Haru has come since the beginning or whatever, then what was even the point of bringing him back?

*This ep also seems to have forgotten about Minato's win order that Ota Tribe would help patch up their diner again. (Was it even still wrecked? I admit I wasn't paying that much attention...)

*I bet the remaining three episodes are going to be very predictable. Next week might see a quick detour to Taito, because a) there's a scene of Hanafuda hitting a ball with his pipe in the second PV that still hasn't appeared in the show itself, b) Taito's theme song hasn't played at all yet and there's no way the show's gonna finish its run without the fan-favourite (going by views on the official YouTube channel) Tribe theme song ever playing. Other than that, we'll have the final Minato vs Chiyoda showdown, and I'll be bloody amazed if it doesn't end with Minato winning and Ojiro being redeemed.

*After all the complaining I've done here, I just want to say I never had particularly lofty expectations for the T9 anime in the first place. I was always more interested in how the game would turn out and was never that taken by how the anime adapted the designs (garish colours, simplification of designs even when the animators still keep forgetting design details afterwards); honestly, I figured it would be a win if the anime just got me liking the characters and world and wanting to see more of them elsewhere. Then again, I expected Akudama Drive to be a brain-switched-off trainwreck at best and was surprised by it being legitimately good, so I admit part of me hoped the T9 anime would also turn out better than it has...
