Hiii!! So I was wondering if you could do yandere Cobra Kai characters and whether or not they'd like their darling to do karate with them? Like are some of them chill with it or are they against it because they believe/know that they can protect darling from any and everything?

This is very interesting to think about! (I will only be doing the karate nuts for this request though)

Would yandere Cobra Kai characters allow their darling to do karate with them? (EDITED)

Miguel Diaz:

Miguel is so insanely protective/possessive over his darling. 

There’s no way he’d want them to do karate, even if it was at Topaga or another normal dojo in the Valley.

He wants the power to protect them, he believes that he is made to protect his darling from any and every thing that exists.

No matter if his darling gets upset or agitated with him, he will continue doing what he's doing because he doesn’t realize that what he really wants is complete control over his darling and their life.

So Miguel subconsciously knows that his keeping his darling weak, unable to fend for themselves and under his complete control.

He's a control freak that holds a delusion of being a knight in shining armour for his darling.

It's best to avoid doing karate or any kind of physical/strength training if you're his darling because once his fantasy/delusion bubble pops, he cracks.

Hawk:

Hawk would never let his darling get close to karate or any kind of strength training.

He uses the excuse "The further he can keep them from the karate war, the better".

In actuality, he wants them weak so he can do whatever he wants and get away with it, he’s ‘justified’ for beating up any guy he doesn’t like and blaming it on ‘protecting his darling’ or some other bullshit like that.

He enjoys being able to overpower his darling, so if they ever think of leaving or defying him, he can easily pin them down without even trying.

For him, it's almost ALMOST a must that his darling is weak, soft-spoken, shy and possibly bullied (more mentally weak that way, he knows from experience) or he would want a strong spitfire that he can challenge or break down, depending on their dynamic.

Demetri Alexopoulos:

Demetri would be alright with his darling learning karate, in fact, he would encourage them to do so since he's not strong enough to protect his darling and he knows it.

However, he would want them to train at Miyagi-do so that he can spend more time with his darling and watch them, keep tabs on them, all while training so he can protect them.

He’s not too keen on controlling his darling, he wants them to be safe and happy but if he thinks they’re putting themselves in danger, he’ll manipulate and control his darling with zero remorse in his heart.

He wouldn't care how strong or weak his darling is, he wants them safe and he will use any means to make sure they are, no matter if he has to break them down or destroying their sense of reality, their safety is his number one priority.

Sam LaRusso:

She’d see doing karate together as something they can bond over but will only allow her darling to train and learn karate at Miyagi-do (not to mention, it allows gives Sam opportunities to hold/touch her darling and cling to them more often).

If they're already training at another dojo (besides Cobra Kai), she'll try to entice them to join Miyagi-do, using the fact that the lessons are free or possibly even buying her darling gifts, like training/workout equipment or small trinkets of things her darling likes.

If they're already training at Cobra Kai, Sam will guilt trip her darling into joining Miyagi-do, saying that Tori, Hawk and whomever else is training at Cobra Kai at that time are a bunch of evil people, that they hurt others with no remorse (despite her doing that whenever she believes someone has hurt/harmed her darling in any way, shape or form). She'll do anything to get them away from Cobra Kai so that her dad will allow Sam to be around them.

She’ll protect her darling as much as she can because even if her darling is strong, Sam wants to prove that she’s the best and only person her darling can rely on.

Robby Keene:

Robby would never let his darling do karate because he feels like they’d get roped into the karate war somehow and he would hate that.

He wouldn't be against other kinds of strength training/sports like soccer or ice skating, he would actually encourage those.

But he wants them no where near karate at all costs, he has no problem threatening his darling into staying away from karate "for their own safety".

Robby does not practice what he preaches about keeping his darling safe, he would go as far as to break one of their bones to "keep them safe" regardless of the excessive mental and physical trauma that Robby would leave on them.

Robby’ll be his darling's bodyguard, their protection, the person they can rely on the most, he'll make sure that even if they're scared of him, they'll come running to him whenever they're in danger.

He’ll do anything, absolutely anything for their safety even if it makes his darling upset.

Tory Nichols:

She’s very protective and considering everything happening surrounding karate and Cobra Kai, there’s no way that she’d ever let her darling do karate.

Tory knows she’s strong enough to protect herself and her darling, there’s no need for her darling to do karate, is what she tells them.

But she wouldn't mind if they joined a gym or started up on a different sport.

However, they stronger her darling gets, the more insecure Tory would get because she believes that all she has is her strength.

Tory's insecurities would hit an all time high if/when her darling starts doing their sport/activity with others (ex: figure skating partner or work out buddy) because why are they spending time with others when they have her? Why do they need other people? They don't need other people.

She would force them to quit their sport if her insecurities got the better of her, she would manipulate them by breaking down crying, forcing them to feel bad for her and if that doesn't work, then she'll get rid of her competition so she can feel at ease again.

Whether she gets rid of them through threatening, a beat down or possibly worse, she makes sure they never step foot near her darling.

No one but her (and her darling's family) is allowed to be close with her darling, no one at all.

Daniel LaRusso (platonic):

Daniel would love if his darling was doing karate, but only Miyagi-do karate.

He would see it as bonding since he would be teaching them how to protect themselves, in fact he would feel ten times more at ease knowing his darling could protect themselves.

But if he feels like there's too much danger that may surround his darling, he will force them to quit karate and instead have Sam or others from Miyagi-do be assigned to protect his darling.

Johnny Lawrence:

Johnny would rather not have his darling do karate, he wants to be their protector.

He knows he's strong enough to save his darling from harmful situations, despite knowing he basically causes half of them.

He would also intentionally set up dangerous situations then pretend to only be passing by and save his darling from said situation as to give him a knight in shining armour look.

He wants to prove that he has his life together and that his darling never needs to worry for their safety since Johnny will protect them even from problems he created.

Kenny Payne (Platonic):

Kenny knows he’s small but is aware of his strength after Cobra Kai.

He wouldn’t want to have his darling join any karate dojo, not even Cobra Kai because what if they become strong enough where they leave him and don't need him anymore?

He couldn't live in a world without being needed/loved/wanted by his darling.

Not only that but he doesn’t want others to see his weakness (his darling), something that makes him vulnerable, someone they can attack to get an upper hand on him.

The more shelters they are from the karate world, the better it is for Kenny, that was only he can have their attention and affection because no one deserves his darling but him.

YOUNG YANDERE DANIEL LARUSSO HEADCANONS

Daniel as a yandere would be really overprotective of you and rightfully so after everything he's gone through, clingy because he's worried and scared that he might lose you to Johnny Lawrence, his bully aka. the biggest jerk of the Valley

He has a bit of a hero complex as well and he doesn't even realize it's there in him. He just feels this deep urge and need to save his loved ones from danger, especially you of all people. Johnny and his jerk squad the Cobras can pick on him and bully him all they want but he won't be so forgiving if they target you. He won't like it at all if one of them try flirting with you, Daniel is easily gets riled up and he'll start a fight with them

He might notice you if you're new to the Valley or something or if you're in his class and offer to help him out with something. He's always touched by kindness and he'll thank you for it with a cute yet goofy and dorky smile on his face. Though he might look all innocent and unsuspecting as a yandere, he knows how to look all innocent like so people won't suspect him of anything. How can anyone accuse such a cute face like that of doing something wrong?

Will NEVER EVER let you join Cobra Kai, EVER. He's had his personal experiences with them and he doesn't want you going there as well and suffering like how he did so he'll do whatever he can to make sure you don't join Cobra Kai. Whenever he goes over to Miyagi Do, he'll take you with him just so he can be at peace knowing you're at least safe there. Will love it if you try training with him and Miyagi would smile at the both of you doing your karate with each other. Daniel encourages you to do karate and he'll help you get better at it. If you already do karate he'll be really impressed and he won't stop ranting and rambling about how cool you look

When he develops his karate skills he gets the feeling he's being your knight in shining armor and he makes it his responsibility to save you from everything that can ever harm you. Also, he'll grow more clingy to you and he's willing to injure anyone for you. You're the only one who doesn't mind the fact that he's from Reseda and he really admires and appreciates you for not judging him like all those rich Encino brats

When you do catch onto his possessive and abnormal behavior he'll just deny it and have the expression of a kicked puppy, asking you how you could say something like that. Do you not love him anymore? Do you want more love from him? Because if that's the case then say goodbye to your personal space and freedom. He might get angry at you sometimes but he will NEVER hit you, you're the love of his life. He won't be able to forgive himself if he hits you. And now, fast forward to the All Valley Tournament. You'll be there for him when he's competing and giving him encouraging words like 'You'll do well' and 'I know you can do it' and stuff like that, he LIVES for those. He nuzzles into your touch when you help him calm down and he wishes he could just be in your arms forever, unfortunately it's time for a death match

Would love to take you for car rides in one of Mr. Miyagi's cars to a place where the both of you can see the stars and be with each other in peace. He also wants to make you happy, he wants to be the ONLY one to make you happy. Your first kiss with him might be a bit awkward but he'll develop his skills at it and he'll be stealing quick kisses from you every now and then. If one of the Cobras try asking you out or anyone tries to ask you out for that matter, that's when he gets all sneaky and manipulative and will do something that'll get the other person in trouble. They deserve it after all, they were trying to take you away from him! Daniel can't imagine living life now without you

You'll be there to comfort him when Bobby injures his knee and he likes it when you're worried for him and fuss over him. And when he finally crane kicks Johnny in the face he realizes he's gotten the strength from you, tonight was all about proving himself to you, showing you that he can take care of you and you have nothing to worry about in life because Daniel will always be there for you no matter what

Would Terry like Johnny if he actually got to know him? Or would he still just tolerate him because of Kreese?

Tolerate, yes.

Like, no.

Actually, scratch that; it is a stretch for Terry to even tolerate properly. When has Terry ever been known to be tolerant type anyway? Man plays at tolerance (and control) excellently when the need or occasion arises, but he's honestly the least tolerant person ever. Beneath that, he's impulsive, jealous, envious, overemotional, volatile, unstable and extremely prone to outbursts.

Want to know why?

Because he sees Johnny as someone he has to share a spot in Kreese's life with. Terry wants to be special one. The only one. The irreplaceable one. The right hand man. The sidekick. The overlord. The enforcer. The one Kreese comes for aid to, even after thirty years. He wants to be the helper. The saviour. The benefactor. The defender. The attacker. The most important and devoted person in Kreese's life. Even when he holds a grudge against Kreese, he wants to be one who holds said grudge most passionately compared to everyone else. He wants to be the number one guy. Whatever Kreese needs him to be and whatever he chooses to be for Kreese. He doesn't want 50% of Kreese's attention stolen by one Johnny Lawrence or anyone else. Who's known him half as much as Terry has known him! Who shares not even half of the history! Half of the experiences! Half of everything! Has Johnny Lawrence been to war with Kreese!? No!? Have they survived what he and Kreese survived!? No!? Who opened and founded Cobra Kai in its infancy? Terry Silver and John Kreese or John Kreese and Johnny Lawrence? Terry Silver and John Kreese, of course! Then why on earth would he share the innate uniqueness of the bond with this upstart nobody who didn’t invest anything compared to him? Somehow, it feels like an insult to Terry and seeing how Terry has a great many juvenile, childlike qualities to himself, he sees it as an equivalent of being friends with a kid in class for years and years, only for a new kid on the block to come along and rob him of all of that in no time at all in comparison. Kreese and Terry built a special tree house together out of sticks and bricks and now Kreese brings Johnny into it? No, no. If anything, Johnny should be viewed as a tool and a weapon for Cobra Kai's needs, not an actual fully fledged person Kreese can have an attachment to, even if it is a very sick and unhealthy attachment.

Terry doesn't see the sick and unhealthy aspects, though.

All he sees is the attachment; in his opinion, that shouldn't be there.

So, why is it there, he ponders? Why must he, Terry Silver, tolerate anything?

He wants to be someone’s weakness --- he doesn’t want to witness that weakness be someone else.

He'd be very upset with the person flirting with his darling.

He would immediately walk over, put up a super nice act and wrap an arm around his darling's waist.

"Hey (Y/N)! Who's this? Is this your friend? Let me introduce myself! Hi, I'm Miguel, (Y/N)'s boyfriend."

He would then make the person extremely uncomfortable and maybe even his darling uncomfortable by kissing his darling's face and neck and lips.

Once the person leaves, he'd probably apologize to his darling for making them uncomfortable.

Hawk Moskowitz:

Would punch or kick the other person, immediately pissed off

Everyone should know that they’re Hawk's girlfriend/boyfriend/lover

He'd also be kinda upset since he's actually pretty insecure, so his darling would have to comfort him afterwards, well, after he beats up the idiot who thought talking to his darling was a good idea.

Demetri Alexopoulos:

He would be rather chill.

Just introducing himself and staying there as the other person flirts with his darling.

Eventually he'll ask his darling if they want to go back home.

He wouldn't mind unless his darling was flirting back.

Sam LaRusso:

Sam would be all smiles, coming up to her darling and giving them a kiss on the cheek before giving the other person the nastiest glare she can muster.

Robby Keene:

Robby is an insane clingy, possessive and jealous guy.

Like he'd even let someone that he doesn't trust around his darling.

If someone was flirting with his darling, he'd just pull his darling away and ask them if they still love him in a way to guilt trip them since he doesn't want to lose another person that he cares about.

Tory Nichols:

Tory would walk up, wrapping an arm around her darling's waist, press a kiss to their cheek and then glare at the other person until they got the message and left.

Summary: A story in which Hawk Moskowitz decides he has to have Y/N, whatever it takes.

It was today Hawk finally snapped. They had broken up a while ago, but now the urge to have Y/N Lawrence for himself was just too great for him not to act on it. Seeing her kiss Demetri, his ex best friend, no less, was the final straw. 

Hawk hid behind the bushes, watching as Y/N talked and laughed with Miguel Diaz, his other ex-best friend. It wasn’t fair. Y/N was all he had, and now she had left him too. 

“Good work, today.” said Johnny to the Eagle Fangs. Then he turned to Y/N. “Go home. You need some rest.” 

Y/N nodded and grabbed her bike, biking all the way back to Reseda. Suddenly, she felt something hit her on the back of her head and she blacked out. 

Y/N awoke, the room swaying and bobbing before her. 

Finally, her vision cleared up and she could see that she was in a bedroom. She was on the bed. She looked around. Judging from the decor, it seemed like a boy’s room, but she wasn’t sure. 

She tried to sit up, only to realize that she couldn’t move her arms forward. Something metal pressed against her wrist. Y/N realized that her hands were handcuffed to the bed frame. What kind of sick joke was this? Had she been drugged?

“Well, well, Princess, I never thought you’d wake up.” 

Standing in the doorway was Hawk, arms folded across his chest.

Your eyes fluttered open as the noise of Johnny rustling around in the living room hit your ears. Miraculously, Johnny Junior was still asleep in his crib, so you climbed out of bed to see what was going on.

“Sorry babe, I couldn’t find my tool belt this morning. Turns out it was under the sink,” Johnny apologized. He flipped some bacon on the stove and slid a plate of eggs towards you.

“Do you really have to leave so soon?” you pleaded, rubbing the sleep from your eyes.

“Since Eagle Fang is on thin ice, I can’t rely on the kids’ karate dues anymore. If I pick up some part time handyman work it’ll help us pay rent,” Johnny explained, to which you nodded.

“Junior is gonna miss his daddy,” you frowned as Johnny pulled you into his chest comfortingly. He kissed the top of your head as you nuzzled into his chest. He smelled like peppermint, sweat and baby ointment.

“Don’t forget, dinner at six with Robby. I should be done by then, I just have to fix some plumbing and do some electrical work in San Fernando. Are you still planning on cooking?” He asked, grabbing a paper plate from your cabinets and tossing his bacon and eggs on it to go.

“Yeah, I’m making chicken parmesan from scratch and—“ Johnny Junior’s screams rang out through the apartment as he woke up, “—there goes your son. Anyway, I’m making some mac and cheese too, since you said it’s Robby’s favorite.”

“God, you’re amazing. You’re like, super-mom or somethin’. I knew you’d get the hang of this. I love you, babe. See ya later,” Johnny said, grabbing his tool box and rushing out the door.

You grabbed a piece of bacon that Johnny had left for you and went back into your bedroom to grab Junior from his crib.

“It’s okay, shh, shh, mommy’s here,” you whispered, gently rocking him back and forth as his screams continued.

After Junior calmed down and you had time to think, you went through the kitchen and made sure you had everything you needed to make dinner tonight. For the first time since Robby came to visit Junior in the hospital, all four of you would be together again. Your beautiful, dysfunctional little family.

It was a bit odd considering you were closer to Johnny’s son’s age than Johnny himself, but you loved Robby because you got along so well with him. You understood the same pop culture references and exchanged stories about school (him) and what you’d been up to. You hoped to help Johnny and Robby heal their broken bond and move forward as father and son, and you were glad they were both making a solid effort.

A few hours later, you heard a knock at the door. You figured it was probably Carmen or Miguel, so you rushed over to answer it.

“Oh, I— Robby? You’re a little early, dinner isn’t ‘til—“

“Is my dad home?”

“Well… no, but I—“

“Can I come in?”

“Of course,” you nodded, opening up the door for him completely.

Robby entered and glanced around to make sure Johnny wasn’t home as you shut the door behind him.

“Would you like to sit down? How about a drink? We have water, lemonade—“ you offered, walking over to the kitchen as Robby walked into your bedroom where Junior was still laying. You watched as Robby looked down at his half-brother with tears in his eyes.

“You can hold him if you want,” you offered, and Robby picked up Johnny Junior exactly as you’d shown him in the hospital.

“We need to talk about you and my dad,” he said, sitting down on the couch with Junior in his arms.

“Of course, Robby. What’s on your mind?” you asked, masking the nervousness in your voice. What if he knew?

“Miguel approached me about a week ago. He wasn’t thrilled at the idea of talking to me, but he’s really worried. He told me how you were acting weird and had been through your pregnancy, asking me if I noticed it too. He said Johnny seemed to love you a lot more than you loved him. How your pregnancy came out of nowhere; apparently you were just his neighbor that occasionally helped with paperwork at his dojo. Miguel said that Johnny was more intense about training around the time you got pregnant. Saying weird things to him and the other students like, “when there’s something you want, you gotta take it at any cost, even if you’re met with resistance at first.” Miguel said you would yell at Johnny about not wanting the baby. Tell me the truth, (y/n). Did my dad force you to do something with him?” Robby asked, meeting your eyes with a sympathetic look.

You couldn’t tell him. A part of you longed to be able to tell someone the truth, for someone to know you weren’t crazy. The other part of you knew you couldn’t mess up your family, the life of your son. You had grown to love Johnny and now you couldn’t live without him, you were even engaged on your own free will.

“Robby, I know it might look weird to you but love is a process. Some days, I love your dad more than others. But love means sticking by someone no matter what,” you answered.

Junior had begun to cry again, so Robby passed him to your open arms. You cooed to your son and rocked him gently to calm him down.

“(Y/n), c’mon, don’t be like that. We’re friends, remember? I just want to figure this out. I-I mean my dad is twenty seven years older than you. He could be your dad.”

“Robby, your dad’s age doesn’t matter to me,” you answered without meeting his eyes, still gently rocking Junior in your arms.

“If you don’t tell me the truth, I’m going to call the police and tell them everything I know,” Robby said, voice getting louder and louder.

“There’s nothing to tell, Robby! We’re in a consenting relationship now,” you cried. Junior was back to crying again.

“Now? You’re in a consenting relationship now?”

“Robby, you can’t report him. Please. They’ll send him to jail and I’ll have to raise Junior on my own. I don’t have a job or any friends here that can help me. Please, Robby. I’m just trying to keep my family together,” now you were really crying, tears rolling down your face and onto your son in your arms.

Robby looked down at his feet in contemplation, tears threatening to escape his eyes.

“I won’t report him or ask him about it as long as you tell me the truth. I want you to get counseling or something because if you really do want to stay with my dad, it’s probably because of Stockholm Syndrome and not just love. I don’t want my brother to grow up without a dad like I did, and I really think my dad wants to stick around for Junior.”

After Robby finished explaining the ultimatum, you were relieved. You, your fiancée and your baby were safe, for now.

“Alright. The truth is that Johnny was a little forceful with me the first time we, uh, had sex. I just wasn’t used to that. I got pregnant that day, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep it, but we talked about it and decided to give it a shot. There were moments where I regretted my decision, but my pregnancy was difficult on me. I didn’t have a mom, sister or best friend to tell me what was normal or wasn’t. I felt stupid asking your dad for help, since he hadn’t really been around for you. I’m really sorry if it came off as anything else,” you admitted, lying through your teeth.

Some things were true, of course. You wished you had some friends your own age. But you couldn’t tell Robby the complete truth without him hating his dad.

“Oh… I’m sorry for speculating then. I just thought maybe you were unhappy and I… guess I just doubted your relationship. You’re a great mother to Junior and I’m really thankful to have you as a friend. You can always call me if you need help with anything and Johnny isn’t around. I-I’m sorry I bothered you,” he apologized, itching his head awkwardly.

“Oh, no worries! I love having you here. Johnny will be home from work in a few hours, would you like to stay until then?” you asked.

“Really? Uh, yeah, sure.”
