I just really hate the permanence that people associate with discovering sexualities honestly. I was looking back on old discourse and the arguing point that “you can’t identify as ace if you’re not an adult because you might be a late bloomer”

Sexuality labels exist to inform ourselves and others of what we feel as humans at this very moment. I don’t care that I may be a late bloomer, I am asexual at this point in time and thats what I’m conveying to you. I may decide when I’m older that the label no longer applies to me, but I can cross that bridge when I get to it. We’re only human and assuming every person is going to stay the same forever is ridiculous. Thats not to say you can’t associate with one label for the rest of your life, if you do then good on you!

But idk, i dislike the permanence associated with this stuff. You can’t base your attitude towards me on what I may potentially feel in the future, you base it off who I am NOW.

I’ve seen lots of people talking about the whole “turians from the same family SHOULD have the same markings but Bioware ignores their own lore” stuff, and most of the time they’re right.

But I CAN see a reason why Vetra and Sid would have different markings. Not because its how its meant to be, but rather how Vetra wanted it to be. I like to think that Vetra purposely made sure that her sister got different markings than her so that any enemies she may make in her work as a smuggler wouldn’t actually recognise them as being related- if that makes any sense.

Its a further precaution to protect Sid from her work. Idk I think its a kinda plausible explanation for in game stuff. Even though the chances are high that it was indeed just Bioware being lazy/not knowing their own damn lore.
