Oh, your Volleyball fanart is wonderful! You've made great strides in your art journey so far and it clearly shows in the side-by-side comparison. In your second drawing, you seem far more comfortable expressing the dimensions of her face; the shading underneath Volleyball's eyes and mouth in particular do a very good job portraying more life to your piece. I also really like how you drew the skin and hair in the second version too! There's body, variation, and a tactile element to it that really keeps your attention as you look at Volleyball- a difficult thing to accomplish! Her hair looking like a pair of roses in full bloom is a very cute design choice as well~

Speaking of design, your personal touches to her canon outfit really sell the fact that she was not just your everyday, run-of-the-mill Pearl... nope! She was a Diamond's Personal Pearl, thank you very much, and she will be seen as such! 🏐🦪💖

To make a long ask short: Please keep drawing! Both your works are lovely and you should feel very proud of the knowledge and skills you've gained so far! ^v^
