🧠 what’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet? rescue dog fic my beloved! the premise is basically the 118 respond to a fire at an animal shelter, buck helps save a few dogs including this one three-legged brown and white border collie and the worker is like "she likes you" and buck is like "i work 24/48 i literally can't have a dog" but then he goes home and thinks about it and thinks about it and his next door neighbour at the loft is this high school girl named casey and she's told buck she's been looking for babysitting work and he's like...........................well maybe she'd be into dogsitting and somehow finds himself at the shelter and the lady gives him this knowing look and when he goes out the back to the dog she gives him the sweetest brown-eyed stare and he's like "oh i forgot to ask her name?" and the lady says "it's abby!" and he's like..................................... well of course i have to adopt her now and then he hurries out of his next couple shifts and everyone's like?? buck has gf????? then eddie rocks up to the loft and is like. dog. you have. dog. and buck is like yeah................. and anyway he brings her to the firehouse at some point and they all love her and somehow she brings buddie together idk man idk. it's literally all in my head but have i written a jot? absolutely not!
