My bedroom is like off set from the rest of the house, if that makes sense? And I have 6 windows (I love windows lmao) so it's extremely sensitive to the temp outside when it's cold or hot. And at night in summer it's nice.

But during the day our highs are hitting 95-98°F and it's a little stuffy EVEN with the ceiling fan and floor fan on 💀 so my room stays at like 75°F ish or more during the day 💀🫣

Idk 6.0 being a msq laser focused on closing all the main mythology arcs of FFXIV and then being followed by extremely self contained patches that are basically a recap of the story so far for the exclusive benefit of future newcomers with some very minor new lore drops (and with, honestly, some dreadful pacing) really is leaving a pretty sour taste in my mouth :/

Like... that was such a Fuckass Decision™ on Yoshida's part. I don't think this was some accidental thing i know how far ahead they draft the plans for those things. Only some of the non-msq stories really held the patches together and set up something AND even then not all of them...

(Seriously, all the book designs are so visually underwhelming...no wonder I hadn't even heard of OL until the show came out. I'd just been walking past them in bookstores for years because there's nothing remotely eye-catching about them. I've seen some editions in other languages that at least had some suitably atmospheric covers -- but the English editions? Forget about it! 🙃)
