I will never be normal about the fact that Jyn wasn't that injured on Scarif. Cassian was likely dying either way, but Jyn could have found a way off, or at the very least, she could have tried. Except that Cassian came back for her every time. Even when she thought he wouldn't. So how could she leave him behind? She might have made it off Scarif, but she wouldn't leave Cassian.

Cassian came back for her, and Jyn stayed.

i think that seto could be manipulated into joining an antagonist group to the shingami if they played on her deep-seated feelings of distrust amongst the powers that be and deep distrust within herself that prevents her from realizing her true potential even though she wants to. (phew, that sentence is so long and heavy).

i created her with the idea that she's lost in a sense that. she doesn't truly know herself but she wants to, but she's afraid. the true nature of her zanpakuto is an illusionary type. it acts as an agent of healing and medicine, but its nature is much more sinister which speaks to seto's own soul. while i don't think she herself is a bad person, i think that in repressing so much of herself, it's festered into something potentially sinister which all got focused into her zanpakuto. the act of hiding yourself as something kind and renewing, while the power behind it could be turned bad.

anyways, i don't know yet how it comes to be, but the central 46 are monitoring her, and for good reason. but, they aren't trying to protect her or foster any goodwill between herself and the gotei. she isn't fully aware of this fact but the way things are going, she doesn't have to in order to feel alienated.

along with that, she doesn't have really many friends within the gotei. or, rather any friendships that she feels are genuine. this is a byproduct of insecurities and environment. she can probably count on one hand who she feels is actually genuine with her.

so, yeah. villain era for seto would be interesting.
