Vestals, year 1: spring

now this would be a special category with irregular (most likely) posts.

with all the rent paid, the treasury contained 63,300 simoleons, out of which 45,000 were used to build the Temple of Vesta (most of it spent on the adjoining House of the Vestals). 18,300 simoleons left.

I took some artistic liberties, and the courtyard didn't turn out to be as magnificent as it was supposed to be, but I am still very proud of myself.

there are only two Vestals at the moment - Fia (of Orchideus Thyrsus family) and Hota (of Circulus family). they are, in fact, related (as is EVERYONE in my hood, at this point). maybe I'll keep it like that, so that Fia doesn't fall into temptation as a Romance sim.

Hota prefers to read books and do chores, while Fia (and I) is trying to find a way to earn money.

I think I've tried everything that doesn't go against the rules and common sense. performing of any kind for tips doesn't give any money, and I don't want a full-blown production of goods at least in this household. Fia can earn money by painting, her Creativity went from 5 to 8. Hota is rolling a wish to work in Medicine for the n'th time, and I think I'm going to grant it. it's not like Vestals never left their house and didn't have any other skills beside performing, so if Fia stays to 'watch the hearth' when Hota is at work, I think it'll be acceptable. the funds have gone from the remaining 5,640 to 2,564.

Small announcement that could potentially turn into a big announcement, I don't know yet.

I'll be turning these designs into stickers/keychains next week, and as of right now, I'm planning on traveling to Ohio for the next Galaxy Con, where I'll have a booth for selling said stickers and keychains.
