Ohohoho Well since I just finished Devil All the Time - How about a good old handy man!arvin AU? Modern reader inherits a large, dilapidated property that needs repairs to be livable. And Arvin is the local, quiet man for the job. It's still a small town and reader finds it difficult to make connections with anyone since they're from the big city. But maybe Arvin can fix your loneliness too 😘

I'm not where to even begin when describing my next rec. @yespolkadotkitty was my first friend on this website and I love her so so so so much! I know I'm not the only one who's discovered what an incredibly supportive and kind person Kitty is and what marvelous stories she puts out.

Her masterlist is mindblowing! There are so many stories! From so many different fandoms! I'm convinced that regardless of what shows and movies you enjoy, you will find at least one story on Kitty's masterlist that you'll want to read. I honestly don't know how she has time to produce all this content. It's possible that she's an enchantress. That would also explain the magical feel to so many of her stories. If you like fairytales in modern settings, then these stories are for you!

And there are too many favorites to name from this masterlist but a few of them that I highly recommend people reading are:

Fighting Blind I'm sure so many people have already read this story because it really is incredible!!! Kitty writes an incredible Tovar! One of a kind! And I love him so much! And her heroine in this (and her other) story is badass and kind and wonderful and I can't help but seeing so much of Kitty in her.

Nightingale verse Dave York/reader that I absolutely adore! We all know how I feel about Dave and yet I'm very picky about which Dave stories I read. Kitty is one of the people I 100% trust with writing a Dave that I will always fall in love with over and over and over again. This verse is an excellent example of the beauty of her Dave.

Wolfe in sheep's clothing A Pero/OFC that is just perfection! I love the interactions and relationship between Bea and Tovar. As stated above, Kitty's Tovar really is something special!

When the cards all fold. A Maxwell story that she wrote for me, which I absolutely adore and keep coming back to for a reread when I need a comfort fic.

These stories are by no means the only stories from her worth reading but I'll let you discover the rest of them on your own.

Yet another rec I can cosign on all counts!! Kitty is indeed one of a kind!  I’m not sure how she finds the time to help and encourage so many new writers, but I do know that my writing adventures would probably have ended with my first story if not for her.  

And, oh, her writing! 😩😍  You only have to read one or two of her lovely stories before it’s obvious that she is a published author for a reason!  (But why stop at one or two when she has an entire library on her masterlist!?)  Fighting Blind in particular continues to be one my favorite stories and one that I can read over and over and fall in love with the characters all over again each time.
