So I've been lazy about getting this sorted but I managed to get all the 2D and 3D models from Cross Duel.

The 2D models are organised by character names. I can confirm they work in Spine at least, but no promises for any other software. If they don't work in any free software I'll see about uploading the spine files since the free trial will let you open them.

The 3D models were all sorted by ID numbers and I don't know enough about blender to combine them into a single fbx, so I've settled for adding the monster name to the main model for now so this doesn't get delayed even longer. If I get chance I'll reorganise them into separate files for each monster and add some generic effects too, but if you just want the models for art refs these should be fine.

I just finished watching the cutscenes of that Cross Duel Revolver event (since I wasn’t around to play it myself) and uh...

Cross Duel Revolver is very clearly his season 1 self, right down to using the S1 Avatar, and I honestly found him pretty enjoyable. Duel Links Revolver is supposed to be a post canon version of him and he is insufferable in that game. They reduced Revolver to just some guy who’s irrationally angry at the Ignis for existing. He is, in a word, flanderised. In Cross Duel meanwhile Revolver feels like the same character I’ve been seeing in my rewatch of VRAINS: a cold blunt cunning villain yet simultaneously a respectful duelist who keeps his promises. Cross Duel is far more true to Revolver’s character.

So... yeah to me, Cross Duel unironically handled Revolver better than Duel Links did/is.

Too bad Cross Duel is getting shut down in less than six months. 😒
