Possible In-Universe Start Date for Phantoms?
I’ve been constructing a mini-timeline of events from across YJ with the wiki’s help, and I noticed something really interesting about the in-universe dates. (To be clear: I’m discussing the dates from YJ’s timestamps, not real-life release dates.) Each of the two follow-up seasons start on the same day the last season ended: Invasion (S2) begins on January 1st, on which Season One ended, and Outsiders (S3) begins on July 4th, on which Invasion ended. Because this is YJ, I find it hard to believe that’s coincidental.
Outsiders ends on February 28th. If we didn’t have any more information than that I wouldn’t bother to theorize over this, but here’s the thing: episode 3.9, “The Prize,”  is on February 23rd... in what appears to be exactly a year after Outsiders. And (light SPOILERS for “The Prize”) M’gann references leaving for somewhere next Tuesday.
We don’t know the exact day of February 23rd, though it seems by the wiki’s calendar the 23rd of YJ’s February 2020 is Monday and the 28th is Saturday. But then M’gann would likely say “tomorrow,” not “next Tuesday,” so we can likely presume that their calendar is out of sync with the wiki’s. (It seems to be anyway, even in the first season: for example, Wally’s first day of sophomore year is on a Sunday by a real-life 2010 calendar.) Whatever the case, we can’t draw perfect conclusions about this- but that doesn’t erase the significance of the dates. It would make sense for M’gann and her accompanying group to start their journey right at the beginning of the season.
TL;DR: It makes sense that if, traditionally, the next season begins on the last day of the last season, Phantoms will start February 28th, thus giving us five days between “The Prize” and Phantoms. That makes extra sense considering “The Prize” is “Season 3.9″: it would run right up against Phantoms. Of course, all of this is theory, and it’s not particularly exciting, but honestly, I’ll take anything I can get right now.
Thoughts?

If Gar is going on this “long trip” with M’gann, Conner and J’onn - (maybe to Mars?) who’s going to be leading the Outsiders?

SO, I just went through and transcripted “The Prize” audio play from today! I’m not sure if I’m gonna post the entire thing ‘cause I’m honestly not sure if it’s legal (if you know pls let me know), but I’ve made some observations as I went through it that I’ll be posting. Here’s the big one I think lots of people will appreciate: a list of which characters each voice actor acts!
SPOILERS for “The Prize” audioplay, season 3.9, episode 1 of Young Justice.
Greg Weisman: Lucas “Snapper” Carr
Brandon Vietti: Warden of Belle Reve
Jason Spisak: Forager
Khary Payton: Kaldur’ahm/Aquaman, Black Manta, Brick, Amistad Ervin
Stephanie Lemelin: Artemis Crock/Tigress, the Computer
Nolan North: Conner Kent/Superboy, Harlen Matthews/Mattew Hagen/Clayface, Monsieur Mallah
Denise Boutte: Raquel Ervin/Rocket
Danica McKellar: M’gann M’orzz/Megan Morse/Miss Martian, Tuppence Terror
Crispin Freeman: Will Harper/Red Arrow, Roy Harper/Arsenal, Jim Harper/Guardian, Captain Boomerang
Winners for most characters are Crispin Freeman and Khary Payton at four each, with Crispin’s most evenly distributed (Khary’s Amistad only has one line, as I think y’all have noticed). Winner for the most talking is... unofficially, I’m gonna say it might be Jason Spisak. Forager has a lot of dialogue. Could be Crispin Freeman, too, though, between all of the Harper brothers and Captain Boomerang.

(YJ S3.9 Audio play SPOILERS)
Roy’s back on the team - I’m really excited - and I don’t really know why!
I ended up listening to the episode three times last night - and I had the same reaction to that moment every time. 🎉🎉🎉. Honestly though, Roy’s never really been a fave of mine - I’ve never disliked him, but I felt he was a little too angsty in S2 (for a valid reason of course - which is why he’s a very interesting character) but it gets a little irritating to watch him constantly blowing things up to get at Lex and jeopardising the mission for the others. Soooo, not my fave. However I did love him in Private Security - his absolute disdain for being made to work this boring day job - but really loving it and his bros enough to stick at it for and after the episode - truly brilliant character development from the angry ball of rage of S2.
Now I’m super intrigued about what they’re going to do with his character in S4 - I don’t know what to expect as I don’t know anything about him from the comics - he might even still end up in the background. But I’m still excited.
And for some reason this makes me feel like we’re one step closer to getting a Runaways reunion - even though he was never technically a member. So who knows - but I do really want to see him and Ed interact at some point - I feel like they bonded as the last two standing in that Warworld episode (The Hunt). It will be nice to see him interact with people now he’s older and a little more stable than he was.

Ohh I can’t wait. Anyone else?

(YJ S3.9 Audio play SPOILERS) Time jump wise - potentially - just under a year has passed, since this new episode is set on February 23rd and season 3 ended on February 28th. Though I wonder if we’ll get another jump from this point to build up some mystery content off of the back of the events depicted here - after all, things sound pretty chill for everyone at the moment - too chill for a season opener of Young Justice.
