Erenth: a term describing one who does not participate in the concept of gender, instead embracing the self-hood that proceeds the construct unencumbered.
[PT: Erenth: a term describing one who does not participate in the concept of gender, instead embracing the self-hood that proceeds the construct unencumbered. ./. END PT]
Etymology
[PT: Etymology ./. END PT]
"Ere", from Early Modern English, meaning "Before" + "-nth" from English, meaning "an unspecified/indefinitely large ordinal number".
Here, "before" refers to the intrinsic self that exists free of gender, a state that has not yet been evaluated or considered within the construct. "Ere" was chosen to represent existing outside the gender paradigm, much like "Ere" belongs to an earlier stage English. "Nth" is used as a suffix, but it refers to the infinitely large, variable, complex, convoluted, nebulous nature of gender identity.
Erenth was coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in April 2024.
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. END PT]
Erenth is not a gender identity, but rather a label used to describe individuals whose selfhood does not involve the construct of gender, identifying with a personal, individual albeit degendered selfhood instead. As such, an Erenth:
Does not have a gender identity in any way, shape or form.
Doesn't align themselves with any gender (unaligned).
Does not have a gender identity to conform to, bend or subvert.
May embody gendered roles without consideration to the concept of gender or may reject them all together.
Does not have a gender to express, thus lacking a gender expression.
Presents themselves without consideration to the concept of gender, instead seeking to make their presentation harmonious and congruent with their sense of self.
Uses (self-)referential language without consideration to the concept of gender, using whatever language they see fit.
In lacking a gender identity, likely do not self-describe using GLG orientations.
May have an internalized self-concept of sex that is degendered or may reject sex altogether.
May reject, eschew, subvert, ignore, transcend, be liberated from, be apathetic towards, be oblivious to or hold any stance, perspective or experience regarding the concept of gender that results in non-participation in the construct.
May or may not identify as Queer.
Is simply themselves, embodying the answer to the question, "Who Am I?" while also discarding the construct of gender entirely from the question.

Some similar labels include:
Egogender
[PT: Egogender ./. END PT]
Both Egogender and Erenth individuals identify with an unique and individualistic sense of self, but differ in that the Erenth label is not a gender and does not participate in the construct.
Exogender
[PT: Exogender ./. END PT]
Both Exogender and Erenth individuals do not participate in the construct of gender, thus lacking a gender identity, but differ in that the Erenth label specifies an unique, individual sense of self one embraces entirely independent of the construct of gender identity. Exogender, while not truly being a gender identity by it's definition, attempts to fill the lexical gap by relating to the construct, where the Erenth label does not participate in it explicitly and outright.
Apogender
[PT: Apogender. ./. END PT]
Both Apogender and the Erenth label involve being divorced from the concept of gender, but differ in that Apogender is an Agender microlabel, whereas Erenth is not a gender identity and involves embracing the self.
Pomogender
[PT: Pomogender ./. END PT]
Both Pomogender and the Erenth label involve denying preexisting gender labels, but differ in that Erenth is not a gender identity, denies the entirety of the construct of gender and embraces a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender.
Cassgender
[PT: Cassgender ./. END PT]
Both Cassgender and the Erenth label may involve feeling indifferent towards the concept of gender, but differ in that Cassgender is a gender identity whereas the Erenth is not a gender identity, does not participate in the construct and specifically involves embracing a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender.
Yonderi
[PT: Yonderi ./. END PT]
Both Yonderi and Erenth are labels describing transcending gender, but differ in that the Erenth label also does not participate in or internalize the construct while also specifically embracing a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender. Erenth can be considered to have a yonderine quality, but doesn't have to.
Genderfree
[PT: Genderfree ./. END PT]
Both Genderfree and the Erenth label both refer to an undefined state where gender is not present, but unlike Genderfree, Erenth rejects the construct of gender in it's entirety, is not an ambiguous identity nor is it definitively queer in itself. Furthermore, an Erenth individual's identity is related to their sense of self, which is not specified by the label genderfree.
Pride Flag
[PT: Pride Flag ./. END PT]
The flag was created by myself (Gent, GJ) at the same time as the term. The flag has nine horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the stripes are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream, desaturated light green, cream, dark red, peach and dark grey. The stripes have the following meanings:
The bottom and top dark grey stripes represent the lack of internalization of gender.
The two peach stripes represents complete non-participation in the construct of gender.
The two dark red stripes represents knowledge and conviction.
The two cream stripes represent one's values and ideals.
The middle desaturated light green stripe represents one's inner sense of self.
[PT: The bottom and top dark grey stripes represent the lack of internalization of gender. The two peach stripes represents complete non-participation in the construct of gender. The two dark red stripes represents knowledge and conviction. The two cream stripes represent one's values and ideals. I also created a simplified, five-stripe version using the same colors and meaning as the nine-stripe flag. The simplified flag has five horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, they are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream and desaturated light green.
Glyph
[PT: Glyph ./. END PT]
As Erenth is not a gender, it does not have a planetary glyph associated with it. Instead, the Erenth identity is represented by the typographical obelus, styled as a double dagger mark, U+2021 (âĄ). The obelus represents, "an iron roasting spit, a dart, or the sharp end of a javelin, symbolizing the skewering or cutting out of dubious matter. (Wikipedia)", which is similar to the manner in which an Erenth individual embraces their selfhood (separated from gender), but not the construct of gender (the dubious matter). The double dagger mark was specified to represent a coupled rejection of gender and acceptance of the self.

The Amazing Devil Favorite Lyrics
The Horror and the Wild
I am finally posting my long ass treatise on my favorite lyrics from each song on this album. Â Like any overly obsessed (detail oriented?) nerd, I understand no one may read it and I also understand that doesnât matter. Itâs putting love out into the wild that matters.
So, here are my favorite lyrics from each song and why. Some are for small reasons, some for big. My only caveat is that every lyric is good and this was like choosing between children. Wait. Second caveat. These songs talk about loss, illness, trauma, so if you donât want to have that conversation, maybe skip the post.
The Rockrose and the Thistle
And I find you with a thimble weeping May I, I ask, may I?
These lyrics punch me in the heart. Â And maybe I read into it but thatâs what art is for right? It seems that this song is about loving a person with trauma. Â It mentions a mother and father, so itâs childhood trauma, maybe abuse.
And this lyric.
I find you with a thimble.  That part. The person with trauma is trying. And when you have PTSD from childhood trauma (raises hand) itâs easy to forget youâre trying. Itâs easy to feel you are just broken and fucking up. But you arenât! Every day that you get up and try to be kind to yourself and to others, youâre working hard on healing. Youâre trying. YOU JUST DONïżœïżœïżœT KNOW HOW.  And itâs hard. The imagery of fumbling with a thimble and knotted thread. Jesus tap dancing Christ I donât know why but it gets me.
May I, I ask, may I? Aughhh. The way this is phrased. Â This person considers it an honor to help. They donât consider you a burden. They arenât telling you how to fix things. Theyâre asking what you need. Thatâs two of the hardest things about living with the effects of trauma. Â Feeling like a burden, and having people treat you like youâre stupid and just not trying the correct thing yet.
Itâs so powerful to me I can feel it in my chest and the way Joey sings it so spare and plain. Â I feel this song was written to murder me specifically.
This would be why I wrote an entire 60k Geraskier fic about this song. Â It ruined me but in a good way?
The Horror and the Wild
Give me back my heart you wingless thing.
That, kids, is what we call worldbuilding. Â You see, some of the songs on this album are more literal. Others are lush fantasy novels set to music. Â And that line. Â Why is it of note that the thing is wingless? Â Is the person singing winged? Â Are most people winged in this world? Are they angels? Winged hellbeasts? Â Graceful birds? And what does it mean to be wingless? Does it mean you are more dangerous? Sinister? Addictive? Tempting? Who knows!! It sets my imagination soaring and I think that fantastic. Â When someone makes my imagination wander off, thatâs a gift.
Wild Blue Yonder
I LOVE belting this song. The socks off a bank lock. Burning the place to the ground. Iâm lost Iâm found. My neighbors might hate me for all the belting. Today Iâll be discussing:
We donât know whatâs out there Could be ghosts or monsters or a robot vampire I dunno
Yes. Robot vampires are fun to think about. But thatâs not why I chose it. Â Itâs because they have already speculated that it could be wolves out there. Â It could be all our demons. Â And when you have a different explanation every time, youâre lying, you donât actually know, or itâs beside the point. Â Itâs the âI dunnoâ that does it for me in this line. In other words, it was never about what was out there. It was about what is in here. Â The thing weâre holding onto so tight weâre bruising. Everything out there, whatever it is, can just go fuck itself. Goddamnit donât you just want to hide under the covers sometimes?
Of course you do. Â Youâre a human.Â
(I assume youâre human. Wait. Are you winged?)
Welly Boots
Fuck. Iâm crying just reading this fuckin song again. Â Iâm choosing three lines.
âYou were supposed to be my light And keep me safe against them all How could you leave me here' youâll scream
Grief. Man. When an artist strikes exactly in that grief place, and captures something about what it feels like to me personally, it takes me back and it hurts. Â Yet the fact that someone made me feel that, means other people feel it, which means Iâm not alone. Â And isnât that the entire goddamn point of art?
This may sound weird but that Buffy episode The Body made me feel this too. It captured something about grief that resonated with me and just laid me out. And this song does too.
You were supposed to be my light, (this canât be happening) And keep me safe against them all (I needed you god fucking damnit) How could you leave me here' youâll scream (itâs not fucking fair)
I lost my older brother to suicide and Iâm telling you I canât listen to this song unless I want to sit and cry. I skip it most of the time. But thatâs a compliment.
Farewell Wanderlust
Every time that you fumble, Iâm the laugh from the back When you think about him, my wings start to flap When you make a mistake, my feet lift from the floor And when you lie there awake every night love, I soar
Yes, I picked a whole verse but too bad. The first time I heard this song I was like ok, Iâm going to be listening to this song on a loop for the foreseeable future. It is D E L I C I O U S.  Madeleine is MAGICAL in how she sings it.  And these lyricsâŠI turn into the physical embodiment of that Antonio Banderas gif. You know the one.
Itâs just OH MY GOD. Â Itâs evocative of imagery, of a feeling, of a person, itâs like character, worldbuilding, emotional impact, conflict. Who gives him the right to write this well? IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?
Every time that you fumble, Iâm the laugh from the back (I donât even bother coming up front to laugh at you. Â You canât even quite see who is laughing at you so that makes you powerless to even understand why itâs happening. Also, hahaha, you fumbling dumbfuck)
When you think about him, my wings start to flap (the wings imagery again. I LIVE FOR IT I mean Iâm a fantasy fan so this is my shit. Â Also, this person can read your fucking mind! They are so powerful they can read your mind yet they take the time to feel sheer joy when your fumbling moronic dumbass is in misery. THE PETTINESS I LIVE)
When you make a mistake, my feet lift from the floor (Your mistakes are even more delicious, you piece of crap. Also, just the imagery of feet lifting from the floor after the wings flapping. MY GOD.)
And when you lie there awake every night love, I soar (Again, you canât even see this person and they know everything about you. THEY ARE IN YOUR ROOM AND YOUâRE OBLIVIOUS Yet nothing makes them so overjoyed as your misery. THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD THE STORY IT TELLS)
Fair
I could easily pick every word of this song. Every one. It squeezes my heart. ButâŠ
Itâs not fair cos you make me ache you bastard
Choosing that one because the way Joeyâs voice is so raw there itâs a stab in the heart that is so delicious. Iâve also put that in a fic. Because I steal from brilliance.
Also, âSo much fuckin hairâ is evocative. Â And no one appreciates a good âthatâs what she saidâ joke like I do. My mortified son can attest to that.
Unwanted Animal
âBe good to me,â I whisper. And you say âwhatâ. And I said ânothing dear.â
Again, I would like to choose every word of this song. Also, the way Madeleine just stalks in, chews up the whole thing, wails, whispers, growls, sets the whole fucking place on fire and you thank her for it. I mean this woman can tell a story. Keep you in the palm of her hand and toy with you. Sheâs a goddamn goddess. Ok the lyric.
Itâs hidden vulnerability but also a little menacing given the rest of the song. Iâm not sharing my vulnerability with you but itâs there. Why arenât you sharing it? This is multi layered character and world building. And you feel a stab of something because itâs evocative of an emotion everyone understands. BRILLIANCE. *chefâs kiss
Marbles
Cos now I get to meet you for the first time every single day
This is the song that made me pledge my lifetime of undying loyalty to this band. Â See, it may not seem obvious from my passionate rantings, but I have never thought of myself as a romantic person. Most romcoms, and most love songs are some variation of people just meeting and falling in love or wanting to bang. And hey. Thatâs exciting. But I also donât care. Iâm not invested. I donât believe it matters all that much who you date. I mean you choose from the pool of however many single people just happen to live in your vicinity. Like who is in driving distance who is an attractive person and also a good person. Honestly, itâs not that mystical or earth shattering. Â
I donât believe in love at first sight. I donât believe in soul mates. So. Not romantic. But I do believe in the power of making a decision every day to build something with someone. Â Thatâs what impresses me. It is what touches me. Â Itâs where I find the magic. Deciding to be family for one another and building something that didnât exist before. Deciding every day to offer someone love in an unloving world.
And that brings me to Marbles. Â
Cos now I get to meet you for the first time every single day.
This couple spent an entire life together, through good and bad, and still considers it an honor to endure the soul crushing grief of losing your life partner to dementia or Alzheimers.  The grief is an honor because it is a part of the love. I need you to sit with and understand how powerful of a message that is. If youâve had to watch someone you love deteriorate and die then you know the power to make you cherish it is almost unthinkable. But it exists. Itâs called love, motherfuckers.
And also, the fact that someone doesnât remember you but you still consider yourself lucky to have them, shows that your love is not at all connected to what that person can do for you. Itâs a love thatâs a gift. Â Giving it is the reward. The sheer humility and kindness of that takes my breath.
I also have to skip Marbles most of the time, because when it gets to that line I canât cope or go about my day normally. Â The power of that kind of love, the tragedy and the beauty of the human condition. This is my favorite song on the album.
Battle Cries
And as I walk away I know Iâve been through the wars, But that creaking you hear in my bones is not pain, itâs applause
Again, most songs or movies about love are just fun to me. Not really affecting. They seem to think love only matters, or is only successful if it lasts forever. I donât believe that and you canât make me. Â The only thing that matters is what you are doing with your moments today. And all those moments you spend loving, arenât less than simply because the relationship ended. Â If things didnât matter because they ended, then childhood wouldnât matter. Life itself wouldnât matter. Thatâs just FALSE. What you put into the world, what you give each other, it matters. Â Even if it doesnât end like a Disney movie. (Spoken like a woman whoâs been through a divorce, yes?)
Thatâs what this song means to me. Thereâs beauty and value in trying. In fighting. There is value in things that end. Otherwise none of us would be worth a shit. We end, donât we?
And as I walk away I know Iâve been through the wars, (You fought for love. What could possibly be more noble than that.)
But that creaking you hear in my bones is not pain, itâs applause (itâs all in how you look at it and in what you choose to value. Also, according to Unwanted Animal, prayer sounds like applause. I love this album)
IN CONCLUSION
Thatâs why this whole album matters to me. First, it sees magic where I see it. In ordinary people. In ordinary moments. Also, it doesnât deny there are horrors. Â Let no one tell you that grief, death, illness, or trauma are not horrors. They are. Â But what I get from this album is that we are all choosing to live. And part of the condition of life, of being a human is the horror. Â Itâs inextricably a part of love, of joy, of everything else. So, if you love, you grieve. Â We try to separate them out and put them into their own corners. But does it work? No. Not really. Grief is the price you pay for love. And itâs worth it.
So maybe there is nobility in enduring the horrors. Of feeling them. Of suffering along with everyone else stuck in these meat suits, and continuing to love. Maybe thatâs what makes us human in the first place. And maybe weâll get through it if we do it together.

can you be gender apathetic and have a gender alignment?
Hey there anon, thanks for sending me your question. :-)
So, can a person be gender-apathetic (also called Apagender) and have an alignment? Yes, absolutely!
In my own words, I would define Apagender as being apathetic towards one's own gender identity. In other words, it would be when a person does indeed have a gender of some sort, but is completely or largely apathetic to what that gender may be or to the concept of gender applied to them as a whole.
Some similar identities to Apagender for your reading pleasure:
Agender: lacking a sense of gender identity, therefore having no gender.
Apogender: lacking a gender identity all together, therefore not participating in gender as a concept.
Genderless: lacking a gender identity all together, therefore having no gender.
Neutrois: an entirely neutral aporagender.
Yonderi: a sense of self beyond/transcending gender identity and similar modes of identification.
Gendernull: an undefinable, intangible uncreation of gender(lessness).
Gendervoid: perceiving a void or empty space where one's gender "should" be.
Genderblank: a blank gender that is indescribable, having no words to explain it.
Genderfree: An undefined gender basis in which gender is not present, when gender is insignificant or irrelevant to the individual, a gender identity which is generally ambiguous, but definitely queer in nature (QUIN).
Gender alignment is a similar concept to gender identity, but it also quite different. Gender alignment describes how oneâs experiences in gender identity intersects with society, and often by extension, the gender binary.
For example, a person could be Apagender and female-aligned, meaning that they are apathetic to their gender identity, but their lived experiences are related to womanhood or they have aspects (presentation, expression, relationship with the patriarchy, social category, experiences in sexuality, un-gendered connection to etc.) that can somehow be related back to womanhood. There are many types of gender alignments, ranging from the above mentioned female-aligned, to male-aligned, to various non-binary alignments, to being unaligned to rejecting the concept of alignment all together.
A common system of alignment used by the non-binary community is the Galactian Alignment System, but you can always just describe yourself as âgender qualityâ + â-alignedâ which is more common and uses less obscure jargon.
I hope this answered your question! If you need any clarification or have any more questions, please feel free to send me another ask.

yingender: an umbrella term for all genders that are yonderine in nature (yin). can also be used to refer to either a gender that is not fully defined, but is definitely yonderine, or a gender in which yonderinity is its defining feature.
for a request! colors are mostly taken from/inspired by the yonderine and yonderi flag, and the yonderine post is also the coining post for yingender.
flag id: a flag with 7 stripes, with the fourth being twice as large as the rest. in order, they are tan, gold, brown, sage green, plum, bright purple, and silver. end id.

Dominator wasnât all too sure what ELSE she was expecting. During the moments that she had walked away from the galaxy sheâd failed at destroying, fuming, the oh-so-high-and-mighty galactic counsel was just WAITING for her to be at this point. Defenseless. Once she had picked walking away instead of Wanderâs choice at redemption, it didnât take long at all for them to show up and arrest her. It was clear to everyone that Dominator had been the biggest threat this galaxy had seen, and they couldnât risk having her make a comeback.
The next day, reports of Dominator being imprisoned were on practically any news channel the galaxy could stumble upon at least once. News that she was in one of the heaviest guarded prisons, and that the galaxy wouldnât have to worry about her any longer. Meanwhile, Dominator herself wasnât exactly giving anyone at the prison a BREAK. Lets just say she wouldnât be getting any good behavior pardons.
