Note
my “friend” telling me that if i’m genderqueer i HAVE to use the label “nonbinary” and it’s most popular flag, even though i’m anonbinary and maverique, because “they’re all just the same thing, you just want to be special” is exorsexism!
(It’s double exorsexism that they keep mislabeling me as nonbinary and telling me that if I want them to stop doing that, I should just “accept myself” and “get comfortable with it” or identify as “just” binary trans 😟)
this is exorsexism.
genderqueer people don't owe you simplicity. just because a term is very commonly used for an experience doesn't mean everyone with that experience has to use that term. definitions do not equal identity.

Rejectionary/Rejectionarian
A term for those who experience genders that are considered to be ends of binary/trinary spectrums (boy, girl, non-binary) but reject the view of their gender as being apart of these binaries/trinaries. It is an identity based in refusing to see genders as falling into boxes or on spectrums at all, and every gender as just its own thing because gender is a personal experience.
I made this label for those like myself who are "binary" gendered but have no interest in being seen as fitting into this category. But also, feel uncomfortable identifying with terms like non-binary or abinary or anonbinary boy/girl because those terms are just a new gender trinary. Your experience will always be non-conforming, genderpunk, weird, and/or genderqueer despite having a "normal" "binary" gender.

[Image ID: Four images of the Erenth pride flag, created by Gent (Gender-Jargon). Image 1) is the nine-stripe flag. This flag has nine horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the stripes are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream, desaturated light green, cream, dark red, peach and dark grey. Image 2) is the same nine-stripe flag, but with a centered, black double dagger obelus mark. Image 3) is the five-stripe simplified design. The simplified flag has five horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the stripes are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream and desaturated light green. Image 4) is the same simplified flag, but with a centered, black double dagger obelus mark. ./. END ID]
Erenth: a term describing one who does not participate in the concept of gender, instead embracing the self-hood that proceeds the construct unencumbered.
[PT: Erenth: a term describing one who does not participate in the concept of gender, instead embracing the self-hood that proceeds the construct unencumbered. ./. END PT]
Etymology
[PT: Etymology ./. END PT]
"Ere", from Early Modern English, meaning "Before" + "-nth" from English, meaning "an unspecified/indefinitely large ordinal number".
Here, "before" refers to the intrinsic self that exists free of gender, a state that has not yet been evaluated or considered within the construct. "Ere" was chosen to represent existing outside the gender paradigm, much like "Ere" belongs to an earlier stage English. "Nth" is used as a suffix, but it refers to the infinitely large, variable, complex, convoluted, nebulous nature of gender identity.
Erenth was coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon) in April 2024.
Elaboration
[PT: Elaboration ./. END PT]
Erenth is not a gender identity, but rather a label used to describe individuals whose selfhood does not involve the construct of gender, identifying with a personal, individual albeit degendered selfhood instead. As such, an Erenth:
Does not have a gender identity in any way, shape or form.
Doesn't align themselves with any gender (unaligned).
Does not have a gender identity to conform to, bend or subvert.
May embody gendered roles without consideration to the concept of gender or may reject them all together.
Does not have a gender to express, thus lacking a gender expression.
Presents themselves without consideration to the concept of gender, instead seeking to make their presentation harmonious and congruent with their sense of self.
Uses (self-)referential language without consideration to the concept of gender, using whatever language they see fit.
In lacking a gender identity, likely do not self-describe using GLG orientations.
May have an internalized self-concept of sex that is degendered or may reject sex altogether.
May reject, eschew, subvert, ignore, transcend, be liberated from, be apathetic towards, be oblivious to or hold any stance, perspective or experience regarding the concept of gender that results in non-participation in the construct.
May or may not identify as Queer.
Is simply themselves, embodying the answer to the question, "Who Am I?" while also discarding the construct of gender entirely from the question.

Some similar labels include:
Egogender
[PT: Egogender ./. END PT]
Both Egogender and Erenth individuals identify with an unique and individualistic sense of self, but differ in that the Erenth label is not a gender and does not participate in the construct.
Exogender
[PT: Exogender ./. END PT]
Both Exogender and Erenth individuals do not participate in the construct of gender, thus lacking a gender identity, but differ in that the Erenth label specifies an unique, individual sense of self one embraces entirely independent of the construct of gender identity. Exogender, while not truly being a gender identity by it's definition, attempts to fill the lexical gap by relating to the construct, where the Erenth label does not participate in it explicitly and outright.
Apogender
[PT: Apogender. ./. END PT]
Both Apogender and the Erenth label involve being divorced from the concept of gender, but differ in that Apogender is an Agender microlabel, whereas Erenth is not a gender identity and involves embracing the self.
Pomogender
[PT: Pomogender ./. END PT]
Both Pomogender and the Erenth label involve denying preexisting gender labels, but differ in that Erenth is not a gender identity, denies the entirety of the construct of gender and embraces a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender.
Cassgender
[PT: Cassgender ./. END PT]
Both Cassgender and the Erenth label may involve feeling indifferent towards the concept of gender, but differ in that Cassgender is a gender identity whereas the Erenth is not a gender identity, does not participate in the construct and specifically involves embracing a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender.
Yonderi
[PT: Yonderi ./. END PT]
Both Yonderi and Erenth are labels describing transcending gender, but differ in that the Erenth label also does not participate in or internalize the construct while also specifically embracing a unique, individual sense of self outside of gender. Erenth can be considered to have a yonderine quality, but doesn't have to.
Genderfree
[PT: Genderfree ./. END PT]
Both Genderfree and the Erenth label both refer to an undefined state where gender is not present, but unlike Genderfree, Erenth rejects the construct of gender in it's entirety, is not an ambiguous identity nor is it definitively queer in itself. Furthermore, an Erenth individual's identity is related to their sense of self, which is not specified by the label genderfree.
Pride Flag
[PT: Pride Flag ./. END PT]
The flag was created by myself (Gent, GJ) at the same time as the term. The flag has nine horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the stripes are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream, desaturated light green, cream, dark red, peach and dark grey. The stripes have the following meanings:
The bottom and top dark grey stripes represent the lack of internalization of gender.
The two peach stripes represents complete non-participation in the construct of gender.
The two dark red stripes represents knowledge and conviction.
The two cream stripes represent one's values and ideals.
The middle desaturated light green stripe represents one's inner sense of self.
[PT: The bottom and top dark grey stripes represent the lack of internalization of gender. The two peach stripes represents complete non-participation in the construct of gender. The two dark red stripes represents knowledge and conviction. The two cream stripes represent one's values and ideals. The middle desaturated light green stripe represents one's inner sense of self. ./. END PT]
I also created a simplified, five-stripe version using the same colors and meaning as the nine-stripe flag. The simplified flag has five horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, they are dark grey, peach, dark red, cream and desaturated light green.
Glyph
[PT: Glyph ./. END PT]
As Erenth is not a gender, it does not have a planetary glyph associated with it. Instead, the Erenth identity is represented by the typographical obelus, styled as a double dagger mark, U+2021 (‡). The obelus represents, "an iron roasting spit, a dart, or the sharp end of a javelin, symbolizing the skewering or cutting out of dubious matter. (Wikipedia)", which is similar to the manner in which an Erenth individual embraces their selfhood (separated from gender), but not the construct of gender (the dubious matter). The double dagger mark was specified to represent a coupled rejection of gender and acceptance of the self.

So, there are terms that have been created that replace other gender terms (I don't know the right word because brain static.) "Aphorian" replaces abinary, "anodiean" replaces anonbinary, and "miderian" replaces midbinary. I guess a better word is like... They are alternative words. Not replacements.
Should we coin others? What about an alternative word for nonbinary? Or xenogender? Or agender? I think we should have a lot more of these types of terms!
I'd love some ideas!

Anoirl ( Anodiean Girl / Anonbinary Girl ) flags
Anon asked for my take on a flag for this term, so these are a combination of my Anodiean / Anonbinary flags and this girl flag.
I tried to incorporate all of the colors from each in here ( though I made the orange much closer to red to blend better. hopefully it still comes through.. ) and used both the horizontal and vertical formats of my Anodiean flags to avoid copying the existing Anoirl flag by accident..
Requested by anon but free for anyone to use anywhere as always !!

Don't be a prick to trans & varsex people (online dating edition)
If you are online dating, and are attracted to specific types of genitalia, but don't want to be an asshole towards trans, intersex, or altersex people, or don't want to lead them on - here's some advice.
Make it very clear in your dating profile what genitalia you are attracted to. You don't have to be graphic. You can just say the following:
"I am uncomfortable with male-associated genitalia in sexual settings. Please only contact if you currently have female-associated genitalia." (Or, if you are willing to wait for sex, you can add "or are planning to have bottom surgery.")
Or
"I am uncomfortable with female-associated genitalia in sexual settings. Please only contact if you currently have male-associated genitalia." (Or, if you are willing to wait for sex, you can add "or are planning to have bottom surgery.")
If you are also uninterested in ambiguous genitalia, you can specify that, too ("uncomfortable with female-associated or ambiguous genitalia" or "uncomfortable with male-associated or ambiguous genitalia.")
And if you want to have biological children, say that too! ("I plan to have biological kids at some point.") Same goes for if you DONT want biological children ("I don't want biological kids, but I am willing to adopt" or "I am child free, and never plan on having kids.")
Absolutely DO NOT say "no trans/intersex/altersex people" (unless you are a prick.)
Being trans or cis says nothing about what genitalia or reproductive organs a person has (as intersex variations, sex reassignment surgery, and genital mutilation are all things that exist.)

demifluid anonbinary/etceterian flags for anon!
these are intended to represent a demifluid identity in which the static part of one's gender is anonbinary/etceterian, similar to terms like demifluid boy. i used the same flag format as the demifluid boy flag (and other on that page).

Note

flowers for u > 🌻🏵️🌺💮🌼🌻🏵️🌺💮🌼
also a four leaf clover 🍀
this is so sweet, thank you so much. 💛
giving this energy to people affected by exorsexism who follow this blog too.
just remember that being outside of the binary is a beautiful thing and there is no wrong way to do so. if you don't have a gender, you're beautiful. if you relate to the gender binary in some way, you're incredible. if your gender is neutral, you are amazing. if you have multiple genders, you are powerful. if your gender is fluid, you are marvellous. if your gender can only be described with concepts, objects or similar, you are radiant. if you have a partial gender, you are perfect. if you don't label your gender, you are awesome. if your gender is not related to the binary, you are outstanding. if you are questioning your gender, you are phenomenal. if your gender is specific to your culture, you are astonishing. if your gender is outside the binary and you don't identify as nonbinary, you are fabulous. if i didn't describe your gender here, you are still excellent and you matter so, so much.
shoutout to people who law gender leads to using terms that "don't go together". shoutout to nonbinary cis people, to enbyhets, to lesboys, to turigirls, to afab transfems, to amab transmascs, to boygirls. i love all of you.
shoutout to people whose genders lead to using terms that don't get much visibility. shoutout to trixics, torics, enbians, cenelians, maveriques, neutrois people, diamorics, pera people and so many more. i love you so much.
shoutout to people who avoid any gendered terms altogether. shoutout to people who just want to be called a person. shoutout to people who don't use gender-specific orientation terms. i love you, always.
shoutout to people outside the binary whose experience is often overlooked. shoutout to Black people, indigenous people and other people of colour, to disabled people, to fat people, to intersex people. i love you forever.
i love this community and our infinite diversity so much. things often feel so dire for us but gosh, you all are so loved.

Can u please do some thing flags (like enbything, girlthing, etc) but for anonbinary, neononbinary, and notbinary?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
anonbinarything ✦ anodieanthing neononbinarything ✦ notbinarything
anonbinarything : a gender related to being both anonbinary and a thing, a anonbinarything.
anodieanthing : a gender related to being both anodiean and a thing, a anodieanthing.
neononbinarything / neoenbanthing / neoenbything / etc. : a gender related to being both neononbinary/neoenban/enoenby and a thing, a neononbinarything/neoenbanthing/neoenbything.
notbinarything : a gender related to being both notbinary and a thing, a notbinarything.
Like with anodiean, you can use anonbinarything and anodieanthing (the flags/terms) interchangeably if you want.
Tumblr media
More -thing gender flags/terms :D
For the terms names', I don't know of any specific terms for anonbinary, anodiean, and notbinary (like how, for example, nonbinary has enby, enban, etc.), but if they do exist (someday), you could replace the anonbinary/anodiean/notbinary part with them. Similar for neononbinarything, since it's based off of nonbinary (neo-nonbinary-thing), you can replace the -nonbinary- part with other terms, as long as they have a similar meaning (like it could also be called neoenbinmelthing, neononbinthing, etc.).
Tumblr media
For the format, I followed my alt boything, girlthing, and enbything flags.
The colours come from their respective flags, anonbinary, anodiean, neononbinary, and notbinary. And the center 3 stripes also represent the thing part of the term (not that the whole format isn't meant to).
