loml yong 🥰
Come outside 😊
Your eyes widen as you drop your phone on to your pillow, kicking off the blanket and running to your bedroom window.
Peering outside, you could see a man in a hoodie standing under a streetlight, leaning against it as he stares down at his phone screen. A gasp escapes your lips—though the guy was turned away from you, you could recognize the matching dog hoodie to your cat one anywhere.
Wasting no time, you rush over to your closet, grabbing whatever sweater you could get your hands on before shoving your phone into one of the pockets.
You slowly creaked open your door, sneaking through the hallway and down the stairs, cringing every time one of the floorboards attempted to snitch on you. Soon, you were outside and immediately blasted with the crisp 12 a.m. air.
"Yonghee!" you called out as you all but skipped in his direction.
"Hey," he greeted simply as he turned to look at you, "..you're wearing the pajamas I got you."
"Of course," you hugged him before leaning back to give him a once over, admiring how beautiful he always looked, even in the simplest clothes, "just like you're wearing the hoodie I got for your birthday~"
"Of course," he copied you, eye smile on display as he habitually took one of your hands into his own, his cold skin sending a slight chill down your back.
"Anyways, what are you doing out this late?"
"I told you I couldn't sleep.." He looks away, lost in thought as something hard to pin swirls in his eyes—a small seed of worry is planted in your stomach as you silently rub your thumb on the back of his hand, waiting for him to continue. His eyes are back on yours as whatever quiet storm they carried seconds before seems to settle. He lifts his other hand into view, a rustling capturing your attention. "I brought us snacks."
You stared at him with pouted lips, wishing you could read his mind and pick his brain for whatever was bothering him. Though you loved spontaneous moments like this with him, Yonghee wasn't generally that—he always meticulously planned things like your dates just to make sure you're happy and have as much fun as possible—so, for him to show up outside of your place at a time he'd usually be sleeping...
"Why're you staring at me like that?" he asked, breaking you out of your own thoughts. The smile stretched on his face now was one of smoke and mirrors—something you could see through.
You shook your head in response, though, because even if you could tell he was hiding his sadness away, he'd tell you eventually when he figured things out within himself. He always did.
So you stuck a smile of your own onto your face, hands immediately going for the bag as you stuck your head in to look inside, "oooh~ What'd you get?"
He was laughing now as he passed the bag to you so you could get a better look. "All of your favorites. I did good, right?"
You pecked his cheek as you excitedly pulled out a bag of chips. "Without fail, my lucky star."
"Lucky star?" He questioned, taking a seat on the curb and wiping down the spot beside him for dirt and pebbles so you could sit beside him.
"Don't ask," you responded with a laugh, already chomping away at your chips, "it just feels right."
The two of you soon fell into a comfortable silence, something you've become accustomed to since the two of you met at the beginning of freshman year almost four years ago.
You were stumbling around the halls, eyes desperately searching the walls for any clue as to where the hell your first period class was. It was the second week of the first semester so everyone else had the gist of their routes—except you. You being you, of course, this was only your first day as you ditched the entire first week. It was hard for you to make friends and unfortunately for you, none of your middle school friends came to this school; it was safe to say you weren't excited to start high school so you'd ditch whenever you got the chance.
Then there was Yonghee, some random kid who decided to help you out.
Yonghee was pretty much the opposite of you when it came to this whole school thing—he was diligent, even went to the freshmen orientation and everything. You were lucky that he noticed you, that your first period on that day was the same class, that he unknowingly let you attach yourself to his hip.
"Hey, y/n?" He called out to you, pulling you away from your reminiscent thoughts.
You simply hummed in response, glancing at him as you went back into the bag in front of you for another snack.
He paused for a second, toying with the promise ring around his finger that gleamed under the street light: it was something he got the two of you last year for your 2nd anniversary. It always made something well inside you when you notice him wearing it.
"Have you.. sent in your applications yet?" He quietly asked, big, curious eyes watching for your answer. They overwhelmed you, making you turn away as you looked up at the moon.
"Nope." You answered simply.
"'Nope'? You know the window closes soon, right? You should turn them in..."
You let out a puff of air that mimicked a laugh, but completely void of humor. "I'm not going to college."
His body was fully turned to you now, his eyes even wider than before from the shock of your words and how casually you said them. "You're not going? What do you mean you're not going??"
"I mean.. I'm not going, Yong. I'm taking a gap year, figure out what I wanna do, whether or not I wanna spend another four years suffering through school."
"And your parents said okay to that?"
"Of course not- I haven't even told them yet; they'd kick me out."
"Y/n…" he trailed off as his head spun from everything you just dropped on him.
You sighed, turning to face him with a small smile—though you understood his concern, you were dead set on your decision, already having thought it over at least a thousand times. "Hey, it's fine, alright? I'll get a job, stay with Jooyoung—you know her parents love me~"
Yonghee simply stared at you, not even knowing how to process it all or what to say in response. His face just fell further into a worried frown.
Your smile grew as you lifted a finger to his forehead, pressing at the space between his eyebrows to smooth out the crease, "I'll be fine, I promise, okay? Enough about me; have you done your apps?"
And there was that storm in his eyes again…
He looked away with a sigh of his own, "Yeah, a few Ivy's and um… an arts school."
"An.. arts school?"
"For acting- it's stupid, isn't it?" He lets out a pitiful laugh as he lowers his head to his arms that rested atop his knees.
"Not in the slightest, babe," You placed a hand in his hair, gently combing through it because you knew he loved that, "I just didn't know you were seriously into acting—I thought your theatre class was just for the credit?"
"It is… theatre isn't for me. I wanna be on a screen.. in dramas like-"
"Like Park Hyungsik?"
He lifted his head to look at you, unable to hold in a laugh when he met your sparkling eyes at the mention of Hyungsik, "if that's what you want, then sure."
"But in all seriousness though, Yong, I believe in you to make it. You've already got the face of an actor," you pinch his cheek as he blushes at your compliment, "you've got endless talent, a drive to do better all the time- if anyone's gonna be the next big actor, it's going to be you."
The smile Yonghee flashes your way this time felt like a blast of sunlight through the temporary reign the moon held on the sky. It was blinding, made your heart beat like crazy, and you knew that no matter how long you end up with him, you'd never get used to his beautiful smile.
"I feel like I can take on the world with you by my side." He whispered out, his voice honey sweet as he gazed at you.
You weren't able to handle him looking at you like that so you thought of the most moment-ruining thing you could do: fake vomit. You started dramatically gagging as you scooted away from him.
"What? What'd I say??"
You feigned disgust as you glanced at him, "how do you always manage to say the cheesiest things without realizing it?"
He rolled his eyes at you yet that pretty crescent sun stayed etched on his face. "Whatever just come back over here or else I'll have to eat all these snacks by myself."
You were quick to cuddle into his side, resting your head on his shoulder as you hugged his arm.
"Y/n?"
"That's me, yeah."
"Can you promise me something?"
You slightly pulled away from him to peer into his face, his eyes already on you, "I've been making a lot of promises tonight, but sure, what is it?"
"Promise me," he started before his hand hesitantly came up to cup the side of your face, making sure you didn't turn away from him as he spoke, "that no matter what happens.. we'll always be together, even if it's just as friends. I can't imagine my life without you in it now."
You could feel your cheeks blossoming red as you tried to stutter out a response, taken aback by the seriousness in his expression and words, "I- um- yeah.." Your hand raises to his own, your finger lightly rolling his cold ring against your cheek, "that's what these rings are for though, right?"
Yonghee didn't verbally respond but you could see the love he held for you color his dark eyes under this bleak night sky. His eyes shone much like his smile, but whereas his smile was like the rays of the sun, his eyes were the light that reflected off the ocean—it brought a subtle, but steadily growing warmth to your world.
So you kissed him. You kissed him to express all the love you held for him, love that he filled you with whenever he could, love that you were more than happy to give back.

“I’m home,” you exclaimed as soon as you stepped inside the flat, the elegant fragrance of the lavender diffuser immediately hitting your nostrils.
“Hi!” You heard Yonghee calling from his room. A smile blossomed on your lips hearing his gentle voice, and you put the groceries into the fridge in a good mood while waiting for him to greet you face-to-face.
It didn’t take him long to do so, though he was working from home today, so you couldn’t know whether he was still working or he had already finished, so you never interrupted him, but waited for him to come out of the room instead. That was one of the things you had learned to adapt to while managing hybrid work because one could never know when the other would walk into their meeting without a shirt on (that had happened once when Yonghee had been working out in the morning and had already discarded his shirt when he had come into your room to ask where the new laundry detergent had been) or with wet hair (that had been you when you had wanted to come in for the hair dryer because Yonghee’s workstation had been built inside the closet/storage room, cons of having only a small apartment to the two of you).
In hindsight, you just laughed these incidents off because they happened to everyone these days, so it’s not like your colleagues made fun of you for your little cameos. If anything, they kept bringing up how muscular your innocent-looking boyfriend was, and you couldn’t argue with that. You had seen Yonghee grow from this lanky, shy boy into this broad shouldered, strong and confident young man as you two had gone to the same high school and had become a couple in senior year, and now you were both working adults.
“Hi~” Yonghee singsonged cutely as he stepped beside you, and planted a chaste kiss on your cheeks. Yonghee was a man of small, quiet acts: his fingers playing with yours when you were travelling by plane for the first time; him putting his hands on sharp corners, so you wouldn’t bump your head into them; your favourite type of candy already on the kitchen counter when that time of the month was nearing; doing the laundry instead of you when you fell asleep before you could get around to do it (without you asking him to do so); and attempting to bake your favourite cake year after year when it was your anniversary date (and gradually becoming better at it).
You liked it that way, you liked him that way. You weren’t big on PDA anyway, and it was as if no words were needed between you two because you could understand each other without words, merely from each other’s body language. That didn’t mean you never ran into communication problems because you didn’t talk about stuff, you actually did talk very candidly with each other. Yonghee was very open and straightforward when it came to boundaries, and he would ask about topics even though they might seem awkward at first because he wanted you to avoid miscommunication and overstepping each other’s boundaries.
In the beginning, that had seemed odd to you, especially knowing that you were his first love, but as time had gone by, you had realised that he was very mature and responsible for his age, and he had the same attitude when it came to friendships, work and even his hobbies. He asked when something was unclear or appeared weird to him, and he was very disciplined (that definitely helped when it came to household chores, splitting up meal preps and finances), but also had a playful, almost childish side to him (that definitely showed when it was just the two of you, and he could be his silly self or when you were on dates and he willingly put on cute headbands at amusement parks or when he played cute for you to buy him his favourite ice cream flavour at 2 am when he was a bit tipsy).
So for you that small, chaste cheek kiss was equivalent to a full-on makeout, in the most positive way possible.
“Hi! I’ve got some ice cream. Mint choco as always and very berry strawberry,” you held up the box of ice cream, and Yonghee’s eyes immediately lit up at the sight of his favourite mint choco Baskin Robbins flavour. By now, such things - each other’s favourites - were natural, but your boyfriend still seemed like the happiest person on Earth whenever you got him some of his favourite stuff (not like it wasn’t the same vice versa).
“Thank you. I was about to text you if you could get some ice cream on your way home, but I forgot about it in the afternoon,” Yonghee giggled cutely, and you gave him a wide, radiant smile in return.
“I wish I could say I’m a mindreader, but sadly, I’m not. I just thought that on a hot day like today, we definitely need some ice cream.”
“Yes, definitely. Was it okay at the office? Had they fixed the AC?” Yonghee asked casually as he helped you put the other groceries into the cupboards (his area of expertise since he was taller, thus he could reach the higher shelves). He always picked up on these little pieces of information - such as the AC breaking down at the office yesterday -, he was considerate and attentive like that.
“Oh yeah. It was worse at the metro, to be honest. Rush hour was crazy as always, and I was already sweaty when I got there, and the amount of people there… insane.”
“Take a shower before you catch anything. I’ll make dinner in the meantime,” he suggested gently, and honestly, you had nothing against it since you were so sweaty (and probably smelly).
“Thanks. You’re the best,” you hollered excitedly, and swiftly put a kiss on his cheek before making your way to the bedroom to pick up your stuff before jumping into the shower.
You smiled to yourself the whole time. It was hard to imagine your days without Yonghee, but it was actually due to a mere coincidence that you two had met. You had gone to the same high school, but you had been in different classes, and your schedules had overlapped only scarcely. You had seen him a few times at the canteen and had heard about him whenever the midterm and year-end results had come in since he had always been one of the top students in Maths, but you hadn’t really talked.
That had changed when he had managed to fall down while passing by you at the school’s annual sports event, and you had immediately rushed to squat beside him, asking if he had been okay. Yonghee had smiled at you, coy as usual, but embarrassment had tinted his cheeks pink, and you had thought to yourself that you would not forget this sight for a long time. You had ended up talking afterwards as you had both headed towards the vending machine, and you had met once again that day, after the matches had been over, you had congratulated him and his football team for winning (yes, you couldn’t have not watched his match after his little fall).
It had been history since then. You had kept meeting each other (or rather, you had noticed each other more frequently), and you had fallen in love along the way. It hadn’t been the ideal time, but you had realised that nothing was ever ideal when it came to love, so you had fought through thick and thin - through senior year exams, college applications, university exam stress, internship struggles, thesis nerves and first full-time adult workplace experiences -, but you wouldn’t have changed anything for the world.
Besides, it was almost easy living together with Yonghee, you didn’t even get why you were so nervous about it. He was very adaptive, and after you had set rules and split household chores, everything had gone well. Even if one of you forgot to do something when it was your turn, you didn’t make a big deal out of it. You worked it out as always, just like days like this one when you were going into the office and he was working from home. Nothing was better than coming home and spending time with him after a day in the office.
After taking a shower, you sat down to have dinner together. Yonghee had gotten a knack for cooking since living together, so you could honestly say that you had a blast having the food he made. However, the highlight had to be the ice cream afterwards, especially on such a hot day. Yonghee insisted on preparing the ice cream for you, so you didn’t even have to stand up from the dining table.
Though when he put down your bowl of ice cream (with caramel swirls on top because that was your favourite), and he started eating his own, you quirked an eyebrow.
“What happened to that spoon?” You inquired as you caught sight of a very oddly bent spoon in his hand.
“Oh, this?” The boy looked down at the spoon in his hand that seemed so unnatural that it was almost like in one of those mentalist shows where people try to show you how to bend a spoon with mind control. “Uhm… I managed to bend it while scooping out the ice cream,” he admitted, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly.
“But I bought it just last week.”
“I’m sorry,” he pouted sadly, and he was honestly so sorry, you felt bad for bringing up the fact that it was from the new set you had bought not too long ago. “I love you~” He singsonged cutely as he did finger guns with his hands, and you couldn’t even keep a straight face. You broke into little fists of laughter, honestly both endeared and amused by the whole situation.
“Yah, that’s why you shouldn’t spend so much time in the gym!”
“It could have been because of the ice cream as well, it might have been too icy,” he pondered like the science-lover he was, and you just shook your head, still in disbelief at the oddly-angled spoon in his hand.
“I love you too though,” you responded belatedly, directing a smile at him, so he would know that you weren’t at all mad at him. He smiled a relieved smile at you, then continued to eat his ice cream in a good mood. This would be a story you would tell everyone in the following weeks, but you just couldn’t get enough of talking about it.
You knew it didn’t matter how the spoon ended up looking, because as long as he bent or broke spoons instead of your heart, it was all good.

Love is one of the most wonderful things a human being can experience. And to find love at the young age of fourteen, while not exactly ideal, is just as much of a gift. That was the case for Y/n and Yonghee.
You hear about middle school romances in movies, books, the news even. But never did these two think they'd find their lover in grade nine. It was fate, honestly. Like the most cliche romance drama, Y/n was being picked on by the school's bad boy. And her hero, Yonghee, happened to be in the vicinity.
 "Go away Kento," Y/n begged, hugging her books close to her chest as she backed into her locker.
 "No seriously," Kento continued from his previous words. "I'm confused. Were you born that ugly? Or did your witch of a mother use her magic and put a curse on you?"
 "Leave her be Kento," Yonghee seethed, stepping into the situation.
 "Oh look, it's the Yongster. Come to help your little girlfriend again? What are you going to do about it, tell my mom? You're not a real threat," he scoffed, inching his way closer to Y/n. And nothing could've prepared Kento for what Yonghee was about to do. Yonghee pushed his shoulders, forcing him away from Y/n, before punching him straight in the face, effectively sending him to the floor. "Ah! Help! Yonghee hurt me!" He immediately sounded, like the spoiled brat he was brought up as. But nobody listened to him. They were all equally fed up with his evil antics. In fact, they sided with Yonghee.
 "Nobody is going to help you, Kento. Now leave us, and while you're at it, get a life," Yonghee growled, earning a round of applause from his nearby peers.
Yonghee took Y/n's hand and brought her out of there, and into the open air of the outdoor basketball court just outside the school's gym.
 "Thank you, Yonghee. You didn't have to stick up for me like that. I appreciate it," she smiled.
 "Yeah, no problem," Yonghee blushed, being the shy teenager he was. He cleared his throat, remembering how he had been on his way to tell her something. Something important. "Hey uh... I've been meaning to ask you something," he scratched the back of his head.
 "Okay, what is it?" Y/n tilted her head at the boy. The boy who she had her eyes on since fifth grade.
 "I was wondering if... you... maybe uh... wanted to go out? Like to the park? Together?" He smiled sheepishly. "It doesn't have to be a date if you don't want it to be... I just think you're cute and I uh-"
The flustered boy was cut off by Y/n pressing a quick kiss to his cheek, catching him off guard. "It's a date then."
 "Y-yeah, cool."
~~~~~
Y/n cheered as loud as she possibly could when Yonghee scored a three-pointer, winning the game for Cix Academy's high school basketball team, the angels. The rest of the arena cheered as well. The fans, family members, and friends ran onto the court to congratulate the boys on winning, not only a game, but the championship. But Y/n, not wanting to be trampled, waited for the commotion to die down before she congratulated her boyfriend. And once the people cleared out, she did just that.
 "Yonghee!" Y/n yelled, grabbing the boy's attention. She jumped into his open arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. "You did so well!" She squealed in delight.
 Yonghee hugged her tightly. "Thank you," he smiled before pulling away to see her face. "I couldn't have done it without you cheering me on from the stands," he smirked, looking down at her lips.
 "Stop it," she playfully rolled her eyes.
He laughed. "You love it," he said, then capturing her lips for a brief moment. He pulled away and set her down before walking towards the exit, arm around his girlfriend's shoulder.
~~~~~
Yonghee and Y/n, the newlyweds, sat across from each other as they enjoyed a nice home cooked meal made by Y/n, in their brand new house. Life was seemingly perfect. He had everything he needed and wanted. Or so he thought.
”So, how do you entertain yourself when I’m gone?” Yonghee wondered, taking another bite.
”Lots of things. Piano, reading, swimming, cleaning,” she listed, also taking another bite. She swallowed and took a silent deep breath before saying the next part. “Taking a pregnancy test.”
Yonghee nearly spit out all of his water, but he gulped it down. “You took a test?”
”Yeah,” Y/n smiled.
Yonghee had never felt his heart beat so fast. It was out of pure anticipation and excitement. “What did it say babe?”
”Look under your plate.”
His gasped before lifting the glass plate that held his food ever so carefully. Under it, was a Clear Blue pregnancy test. And on it, was written the word, pregnant. “Oh my gosh,” he gasped, holding a hand to his mouth, feeling the tears welling up. He was wrong when he said he had everything he wanted earlier. Because now, he did. He got up from his seat and went to his wife. When she stood, he immediately embraced her, choked up, not knowing what to say. She smiled and hugged back.
“Are you happy, love?” Y/n asked quietly, stroking the back of his head.
He looked into her eyes and sniffed, crying but laughing at the same time. “I’m more than happy, baby,” he smiled so wide, Y/n could’ve sworn she’d never seen him smile wider. “I love you so much,” he said, embracing her again, as he began to sway her back and forth.
”I love you too,” Y/n sighed, so grateful for his positive reaction. Despite the fact that Y/n and Yonghee had been trying for a baby after their first couple months married, fear still gripped her. All the possible scenarios would run through her head, and she’d begin to regret the whole thing. But Yonghee would never do something like that. He loved Y/n, and just as much, he loved children. She couldn’t be a luckier woman.
“I can’t wait until the baby is born. Just to see you brush our little girl’s hair, or dance with our little boy,” began Yonghee. “You’re an amazing cook, you have an amazing fashion sense, and you’re just an amazing person. You’ll be the perfect mother. I know you will.”
”Oh Yong,” Y/n whispered, tearing up at his words. “I know you’ll be just as good a father.”
Yonghee laughed again, wiping her tears away with his thumbs. “I don’t deserve you babe. I really don’t. But I love you, and I’ll love our child just as much,” he said, moving his hand to caress her stomach.
~~~~~
“Minjoon! Hana! Stop jumping on the furniture!” Y/n yelled as she tried not to burn the chicken she was frying. Her two children only laughed and stuck their tongues out, knowing she couldn’t get to them. “Don’t make me tell your dad!”
”Yes mommy,” they replied in unison, both jumping back onto the floor, knowing they didn’t want punishment from their dad.
It wasn’t easy, parenting a six and four-year-old, while your husband was working a late day. But it had become the normal as of late. But Yonghee promised he’d talk it over with his boss, and have more time at home. Money wasn’t even a problem for them, he shouldn’t have to work his ass off when he had two children and a wife at home.
”Minjoon, go clean your room. It’s a mess,” ordered Y/n.
”Okay,” the brown haired boy pouted, dragging his feet up the stairs.
“And Hana, make sure mommy and daddy’s bathroom is clean,” she told her black haired daughter. She was only four, so she could only inspect the bathroom, not clean it.
Hana went upstairs, checked the bathroom, and went to report. “It’s clean!”
”Thank you baby,” Y/n said, wiping the sweat from her forehead as she finished her meal, luckily without burning it. “Where’s Minjoon?”
”Cleaning his room.”
”Oh right,” Y/n mentally facepalmed. She sat down on the sofa and checked her phone realizing, she had gotten a text from Yonghee.
Love😇: Home in ten! Sorry for taking so long. Ily 😘
Ten minutes ago
She quickly made sure everything in the house was picked up, and also cleaned herself off a bit. And when she heard the keys jangling in the door’s lock, she ran to the door, her children back in the living room playing with their toys. She smiled, seeing her husband’s handsome face after a long and tiring day.
”Hi baby,” Yonghee sighed happily, wrapping his arms around her shoulders.
“Yonghee,” Y/n sighed, just happy to be in his hold.
”You sound tired,” he pouted, looking at the bags under her eyes. “Everything alright.”
She didn’t want to cry, but emotions overtook her. She was on her period also, adding to the day’s stress. “You’ve been gone so much lately, and it’s hard to take care of a huge house while making dinner and supervising two children,” she said, all choked up.
”Aww baby, I’m so sorry I couldn’t be here. I promise I’ll try to take time off, okay?” He smiled, caressing her cheek.
“Okay,” she sniffed, smiling again.
Yonghee looked to see his children. “Daddy!” They both screamed, running into his arms. He laughed as he was nearly trampled before hugging them both, knees on the floor.
“I missed you two,” he said, kissing both of their heads. “Let’s eat and go to bed early today, okay? Mommy is really tired.”
“Okay!” Said Minjoon, happily skipping to the dining table.
Yonghee assisted Y/n as they set the table for their family of four. Five if you count the dog that waits for food to fall under the table.
They all enjoyed the well cooked meal: fried chicken, a vegetable mix, and some mashed potatoes, the kids’ personal favorite.
After eating, Yonghee told Y/n to rest on the sofa as he filled the dishwasher and cleaned up the kitchen. He then went to his children. “Alright you two, time for bed.”
”But we’re not sleepy!” Hana whined.
”Do you want to go to the park tomorrow?” Yonghee asked.
”Yeah!” Minjoon exclaimed.
”Then let’s go,” he nodded his head towards the stairs. They pouted, but they complied.
Once he finished putting them to bed, he went to his nearly sleeping wife. “Baby,” he whispered, causing her to stir. “Do you want to take a bath together?”
She nodded in response, but refused to open her eyes. He shook his head and smiled before picking her up, bridal style, and carrying her upstairs. He ran the hot water and made sure it was the perfect temperature before he went to Y/n again. He carefully removed all of her clothes, and still awed at the sight of her beautiful body. “You’re so lovely baby,” he whispered, kissing her lips and nose before picking her up again, carrying her to the bath. Once he stripped his own clothes and got in next to her, he gently lathered lavender scented soap all over her body. Then he got the vanilla scented hair wash and massaged her scalp, earning a moan of satisfaction from Y/n. He took the mini shower head and rinsed her body and hair off. Once he finished, he pulled her to his chest, loving the feeling of her body against his.
“Yonghee,” Y/n sighed, clearly sleepy.
”Yes love?” He smiled, kissing the top of her head.
”I love you,” she replied, yawning.
”I love you more,” Yonghee sighed, closing his eyes as he rested his head atop hers.
Most people say middle school romances never last. But look at Y/n and Yonghee. Met in fifth grade, fell in love at ninth. And they made it work.
Because true love isn’t temporary. It’s forever.
[2:17am]
you had been anticipating your boyfriends arrival after he said he’d be home late from practice. the clock hit 2am and just barely did you hear the rattling of some keys outside your door. it seems yonghee had finally returned home. you hurriedly grab the small cake you bought for him as today was his birthday. the door opens and he sighs, not looking up at you just yet as he puts his stuff down. “y/n im home” he says just loud enough for you to hear, unaware that you are in front him. he looks at up and his eyes widen as he sees you with a cake in your hands. he smiles immediately. “happy birthday my lover” you say, as he is walking towards you to engulf you in his arms. yonghee whispers into your ear, “you’re always so good to me y/n, i love you” as he plants a kiss on your forehead. nothing is better than this, nothing is better than being with him.
after midnight - kim yonghee (김 용희)
Tumblr media
a/n: this one's requested by anon and i'm so happy cuz i don't really get that much requests??? i'm incredibly sorry it took so long to write, but i don't usually write longer pieces and the fact that this ended up being 2k words is incredible to me. i hope you'll enjoy it !!
warnings: swearing, cheating accusations, argument?? yonghee is a bit of a bitch towards y/n, mentions of stalking
genre: angst with a fluffy ending, non idol! au, also mentions of fromis_9's seoyeon as y/n's best friend
Tumblr media
the house was filled with the smell of a freshly cooked meal, the deliciously looking dinner waiting on the table. as always, your boyfriend yonghee went out of his way to prepare something nice for the both of you. and even though you should be feeling happy about it all, you felt as if there was something wrong, the tension thick in your shared apartment.
for the entirety of the day, yonghee felt distant, almost as if he didn't want to speak to you at all. and as much as you wanted to ignore it, his behavior was surely strange to you; he never acted this way, always the clingy, sweet type of boyfriend. so to see him barely speaking to you through the day, not even a kiss before work? it was weird.
you sat down at the table, your hands shaking slightly as yonghee sat down aswell, right across from you.
'thanks for the meal, honey' you said, smiling lightly at the boy in an attempt to loosen the tension up a bit. he gave you a small smile in response, a short 'mhm' escaping his lips.
he went straight to eating after that, trying his best to ignore your confused gaze on him. almost as he was pretending you weren't there.
'is there something wrong?' you finally asked, breaking the silence between the two of you. 'did something bad happen at work lately? some family issues?'
he sat silent for a few seconds, avoiding eye contact with you.
'i don't know, you tell me' yonghee said, looking up at you. you couldn't really read anything from his face, but his eyes showed a lot. sadness, betrayal and a slight but clearly noticeable hint of anger. and yet you had no idea where all these emotions came from.
'what do you mean?' you looked at him, a confused look painting on your face.
'maybe about the big flower bouquet that someone left in front of our apartment yesterday?' he said in an annoyed tone. 'or maybe the love letter that came along with it?'
'yonghee, what are you talking about?' you couldn't hide your confusion. for a second you thought he might've imagined something; you had no knowledge of any flowers, let alone love letters from anyone else but him.
'don't play dumb, y/n.' he said, the tone of his voice making you shiver. through the entirety of your relationship, he never spoke to you that way; it was something new, and definitely not something you enjoyed.
'i am not.' you said, the whole situation stressing the hell out of you. 'i truly have no goddamn idea of what you're talking about.'
'do you really?' his eyes focused on yours, his earlier resting face now expressing anger and annoyance 'or are you just hiding something from me?'
'honey, please calm down.' you stood up in an attempt to come up to your boyfriend, but he quickly shut you off.
'don't honey me right now, y/n.' yonghee spat, standing up to take a step awan from you. 'you're trying so fucking hard to pretend you're not cheating on me, it's almost funny.'
his words were like a punch straight to the face.
'what?'
you couldn't believe he would actually accuse you of something like this. in that exact moment, you felt as if a stranger was standing right across from you, not your loving boyfriend. after all, your boyfriend trusted you, or so you thought. because whatever left his lips right now wasn't any signs of trust and you were 100% aware of it.
tears started gathering in your eyes, threatening to fall down every second. you felt as if someone just put a knife straight through your heart; all meanwhile you were trying your best not to burst out crying.
the room went silent, as yonghee slowly came to the realization of what he just said, and it scared him. he promised himself, so many times, to never gush out on you, and yet there he was; standing right across from you, a terrified, broken look on your face, looking like you're at the brink of breaking down.
and it was all because of him.
he wanted to apologize, say anything that would deny his previous words, but it felt as if his mouth was sealed, and no matter how much he tried, no words came out of him.
and so he just had to watch as you bursted out crying, hiding your face in your hands as you walked out the kitchen, heading to the door. he watched frozen in place as you put on your shoes and coat, how you reached for your keys from the top shelf, where you would always put them.
‘y/n-’ when he finally managed to say your name, it sounded more like a weak plead rather than his voice just minutes before, and all of a sudden he found himself at the brink of crying.
he took a step towards you, an attempt to prevent you from leaving, but at the same time he knew that you would walk out the door either way. he fucked up, and your reaction was adequate to the situation you were in.
he had no other choice but to let you leave.
‘i’m going to seoyeon’s place.’ you said, trying to contain your crying just for a second. ‘just so you know where to find me, i guess.’
and you left, closing the door behind yourself, leaving yonghee to himself in an apartment that had never felt so empty before. it didn’t take long for him to break down just like you did a bit earlier; tears staining his cheeks as they rolled down, landing on the wooden floor.
that night, yonghee didn’t sleep for even an hour straight.
he was so mad at himself. for leashing out on you the way he did, for accusing you of something he knew you would absolutely never do. he risked losing you over something so stupid, too blinded by his own anger to even give you a second to explain yourself, to remind himself that you loved him too much to even come close to anything as terrible as cheating on your loved one. cheating on him.
he contemplated on whether to drive to seoyeon’s place or not, knowing well how overprotective of a friend she is. she probably wouldn’t even let him inside; not after hearing about what he did.
yonghee didn’t waste any more time, not even bothering to change into something that wasn’t his yesterday's outfit. he looked quite miserable; hair messy, clothes creased, but at that time, it wasn’t really important for him. what was important was getting to your friend’s place as fast as he could.
you didn’t really know what to expect when you saw your boyfriend in the doorway of seoyeon’s apartment, breathing heavily as if he was rushing up to get there. you didn’t have too much time to think about it, either; soon enough seoyeon’s head peeked out of the kitchen, and quickly rushed him to get inside.
‘can we talk?’ he asked, his eyes focused on your face. before you were able to answer, though, your friend quickly got in the way of you two.
‘before you even try to explain anything to her, i need to exchange a word with you.’ seoyeon looked serious like she never did before, yonghee shivering slightly at her cold and expressionless eyes staring daggers into him. ‘come outside with me for a minute.’
she looked over to you, her gaze immediately changing into a soft one, as she mouthed a quick ‘i’ve got this’, before disappearing behind the door.
and so you waited in silence, with shaky hands and stress eating you from the inside, waiting for them to come back.
you were grateful to have a friend like seoyeon for many reasons. one of them was that no matter the situation you were in, she would always help you out. just like she was doing it now.
the night before, after she calmed you down and let you explain what had happened at your apartment, you asked her to talk to yonghee before talking with him yourself. she agreed immediately, knowing what the situation looked like, knowing why the argument even started in the first place.
after all, you were well aware of the flowers and letters sent to you. you were just to afraid to tell yonghee about the whole situation.
the idea you could ever have a stalker never really crossed your mind, and yet here you were; receiving flowers, letters and other presents, first to your desk at work, then right to your doorstep. every single time before you had managed to somehow hide it from yonghee, afraid he wouldn't believe you if you told him about it, or that he would react the same way he did the night before; accusing you of cheating on him.
and so you kept it to yourself. after a month, it became a routine for you; throwing out the presents you always got every day, extra careful not to let anyone see that there was anything wrong.
but seoyeon obviously noticed.
she had asked you about it one day at work, and you almost broke down in tears explaining the whole situation. even though you tried to play it cool all of the time, reality was this stalker thing was eating you from the inside. but having at least one person to help you deal with it was great, and you were grateful that she helped you with getting rid of every single thing your stalker got you. yet still, you didn’t want to listen to her with the most important thing, it obviously being telling your boyfriend about it.
so you were incredibly relieved when seoyeon agreed to having that conversation with yonghee instead of you. she took a really big weight off your shoulders with that, and you couldn’t possibly comprehend how much you appreciated her for that.
you heard the door open, snapping you out of your thoughts, and suddenly, the stress came back. but it seemed to die down immediately the moment you saw yonghee, his gaze soft and caring, just like it usually was.
he immediately came up to you, closing you in a tight hug, one that you definitely needed at that moment.
‘i’m sorry, honey.’ he said, resting his face on the crook of your neck. ‘for everything i said yesterday. for not taking time to think everything through. for gushing out on you like that. fuck- i’m so sorry.’
you smiled at him, your hand resting on top of his head, slowly stroking his head.
‘it’s okay, really’ you said, your hand continuing the movement. ‘it’s partially my fault for not telling you about the whole situation. i was’ you stopped for a second, taking a deep breath. ‘i was just scared you wouldn't believe me if i actually told you.’
‘please don’t feel that way, ever again’ he said, his eyes locking with yours. ‘and don’t think it’s your fault, y/n. it was me who’s in the wrong for gushing out on you this way, and i shouldn’t have done this. i’m here to support you, right? help you through every situation. after all, your problems are my problems too, you know?’
‘i’ll keep that in mind.’ you mumbled under your breath, just enough for yonghee to hear. he simled lightly, planting a quick kiss on your forehead.
‘sorry to interrupt your moment’ seoyeon said, walking out of the kitchen with her phone in her hand ‘but are you guys staying for dinner? i planned on ordering pizza today, and there’s a discount if you buy more than one.’
you looked at eachother, laughing silently.
‘i’ll pay for it.’ yonghee said, his words sounding more like a fact than a suggestion. ‘it’s the least i can do for now.’
‘sounds good to me.’ seoyeon said, heading back into the kitchen ‘but don’t think you’ll buy yourself into my graces this way. i’ll have my eye on you!’
yonghee laughed at your friend’s remark, looking over to you.
‘don’t worry about that. i’ll prove to you i’m worthy of dating your best friend.’
The answer to “how did we start?”
pair: kim yonghee x fem reader
genre: fluff
it was based on a dream i had, and it was with yonghee :D enjoy!
Yonghee has never been confused about what he’s going to do. He always knows what to do. He solved math problems easily and understood science by heart. He got into a prestigious private college of his own choice and even chose his own major. He always knows what to do.
But not this time. Not in front of a girl he had been hanging around with for the past few hours. He had been watching her talking about the recap of their day, about little things that happened along their stroll, about how waitresses and employees kept asking them whether they were dating or married.
He’d been trying to talk, but his voice never came out, so he stuttered. The girl realized. “Hey, are you okay? Is there anything you want to talk about?” He shook his head, and he made a smirk. “I… uh….” She chuckled, “what?” He tried to say the words, but they just won’t come out. She made a few steps closer to him. Her head tilted up because of their height gap, which he always finds cute. “What are you smiling about, Yong?” she asked.
For a while, they stared at each other. Yonghee had never looked at someone with this much adoration. From the moment Yonghee saw her, he knew what he was doing; he knew what he wanted. But this stupid mouth stutter whenever he’s trying to say the thing.
“I… may I….” It finally came out. But it was too late. She tipped her toes and grabbed the back of his neck, so he bent down. She held his elbow with her other hand. She kissed him, and she smiled. “Is that what you’re trying to say?” He nodded. He nodded, and now it was his time. He was the one who put his hands around her head to caress her lips again.
They ended it with a hug. They could feel each other’s heartbeats that were beating so fast. And most importantly, they feel safe in each other’s arms.
Can I ask for a shy first date with yonghee w a kiss that gradually turns into a make out session? 👀 I love this man sm
not so shy anymore - kim yonghee (cix)
pairing: yonghee x gn!reader
genre: fluff, maybe a tiny bit suggestive
word count: 1.9k
warnings: suggestive content, mentions of food, make out, mentions of thunder, mutual pining, friends to lovers
summary: with your first date cut short thanks to the rain, yonghee invites you back to his flat where you share more than just a pizza.
your train pulled into the station and stopped for merely a few minutes before leaving again. luckily for you, you’d already managed to fight your way to the front of the crowded carriage so that you could be the first one off, you weren’t missing out on this date no matter what. after asking someone on the platform for directions, you made your way to the gate, yonghee nervously waiting for you on the other side. you decided to avoid eye contact, you smiled down to yourself as you scanned your ticket, he was even more handsome than you remember.
yonghee, one year older than you, or one year wiser than you was how he liked to think of it, had a secret crush on you since high school but had to move to a town a few miles away thanks to his dad’s occupation. you stayed in touch as (flirtatious) friends, although his feelings never faded. one year later, he finally plucked up the courage to ask you on a date and now here you were, both excited to see each other again.
he waved gently as you walked towards him, an uncontrollable bounce in your step. neither of you were huggers, maybe a high five was okay but that’s too weird for a date, isn’t it?
“the weather forecast got worse,” he greeted you with a wide smile, contradicting his dampening statement.
you were more than thankful though, you no longer had the “10 ways to make meeting an old friend even more awkward” checklist whirling around in your mind.
“do you think we’ll still be able to go to the outdoor markets?” you pouted, contrary to your usual character.
“we can try,” yonghee insisted, leading the way out of the station towards the centre of the town, where the market had been set up.
you trailed behind him, struggling to keep up with the boy that had somehow grown another inch or two since you last saw him. you looked up only to be overshadowed by huge black clouds, full of rain.
“oh,” yonghee turned back to see you at least a foot away from him, “i should slow down,” he stopped and waited for you to reach him and catch your breath. “did you bring an umbrella?” he asked hopefully, the small chance of you having one getting even smaller when he noticed the bag you’d brought with you was only enough for a card wallet and your phone to fit inside. you shook your head and regretfully pursed your lips into a sorry smile. “oh well, they’ll be sheltered anyway, i think.”
the walk was only a few minutes, which felt like a very long time with a silent yonghee by your side, his hand brushing over yours every few steps before you finally gave in and grabbed it. the rain had held off for the most part, one or two droplets but nothing to worry about. that was until you’d finally reached the market stalls. there was little to no shelter, there were no complementary umbrellas, you just had to trust that your hood didn’t fly off of your head in the wind. to your dismay, the majority of the stalls were closed due to the forecast, lightning threatening the owners, scaring them away from making a sale.
“yonghee,” you stopped as you reached one of the very few sheltered sheds, “i think we should just come back another day,” you sulked. obviously you didn’t want to go home, but you wondered if he had other ideas on what to do in his local area. yonghee’s free hand begged to find yours as you faced each other, his eyes still wandering from stall to stall, anywhere but your eyes. “but you came all this way, that doesn’t seem fair,” he thought for a moment, hoping you wouldn’t talk as he weighed up the pros and cons of inviting you back to his place. “my flat isn’t that far away from here, we can chill there until the weather stops misbehaving,” he tutted at the clouds as a disgruntled teacher would at their naughty children. “just to hang out, i mean, i’m not that type of guy,” he clarified, knowing that you’d be a little cautious but hoping that you’d trust him given that you had been friends for a while, not to mention the innocent red glow lighting up his cheeks as he regretting his choice of words.
you agreed with a shy nod, letting go of one of his hands and letting him once again guide you through the brooding streets of his town. as you walked on, you decided that, actually, it was a pretty nice town, you’d definitely want to come back when it's not so wet, especially if it meant you got to see yonghee again.
“sorry? did you say something?” he asked. you shook your head and furrowed your brows but decided it must have just been some distant thunder that he’d heard. you gripped his hand tighter with the notion that the storm was getting closer, praying that his flat was nearby.
“when did you get your own place?” you asked, trying to break the silence.
“hmm, about 2 months ago, i’m still not used to living alone,” he pressed his free hand to his lips to warm up his fingers, before stopping outside of the only high rise building in town and entering a code. you looked up at the purposefully darkened windows of the building, admiring it, yonghee waiting with the door open. it seemed a little out of place, but yonghee suited the modern vibe, so you didn’t mention it.
“what floor are you on?” you asked, still in awe. he responded by holding up 7 fingers, which you remembered to be his lucky number.
“you’re okay walking that, right?” yonghee joked as he pressed for the elevator, “i’ll be up there cheering you on, don’t worry, honey,” his eyes widened and averted from yours as the pet name slipped off of his tongue, you smiled, flushing a similar shade of red as the illuminated elevator button.
a gruelling minute of silence past, the elevator stopped on floor 7 and you followed yonghee down the corridor to his flat, the door a sleek shade of dark gray, opposing his brilliant white puffer jacket that he’d opted to wear for your date.
“let me take your jacket,” he invited you inside and waited for you to remove your soaking wet coat before hanging it on the only empty hook by the door.
“that’s a lot of jackets,” you noticed, saying absolutely anything that came into your head as you’d now realised that you’re going to have to be the one to lead the conversation given that he’s back to his shy self.
his hand stroked over them as he let out a quiet “yeah.”
you grabbed your phone from your bag and checked the time, 12:30. almost on cue, your tummy rumbled.
“hungry? wanna order chicken? pizza?” he suggested, unzipping his coat pocket and taking out his phone, a little awkwardly since his coat was also hung up.
you nodded excitedly, “pizza!” you reminisced on the time the math club at your school bought pizzas to congratulate you on your team's success, which was definitely all down to you and him since you were the only ones on the team that actually cared about maths.
“do you remember when-”
“when you accidentally threw garlic mayo all over your uniform, yes i do,” you laughed and he joined.
“i thought we said we’d never talk about that?” he pouted as the laughter faded “but now it’s only fair that i remind you of the time you told the judges your home address instead of which school you came from.”
before you’d even realised, you were comfortably sitting next to him on his seemingly brand new sofa giggling away at all the stories you had from math club, something any “ordinary” person would label boring or nerdy. that’s what you liked about yonghee, he was just like you in that sense, a little bit nerdy, but definitely not boring.
“you know, that was when i realised that i really liked you,” the joking atmosphere disappeared.
“to be honest,” you let out a laugh louder than you had anticipated as your hand fell to his thigh which immediately tensed, “i started liking you long before that. i didn’t think someone as handsome as you would ever be in math club so it was pretty much from the day i walked in and saw you sitting at the table.”
“you’re so shallow, only caring about my undoubtedly beautiful face,” he scoffed, “but i mean it, you’ve been the only person i’ve thought about like that since, nobody makes my heart race like you did. like you do.” he corrected himself quickly.
your eyes followed his lips as he spoke, they were smooth and pinkish but all you could think about was how pretty they’d look after you’d kissed him. this didn’t go unnoticed by yonghee, his eyes were doing the same, every so often he saw that your lips would twitch with shyness, he thought it was adorable.
you leaned in, he did the same, taking a timid hand to tuck a still quite damp piece of your hair behind your ear. lips almost touching, he whispered against them “can i kiss you?”
you let out a heavy breath and nodded ever so slightly. you gently pecked his lips and he followed suit, the time between each peck getting quicker and quicker until neither of you were prepared to pull away.
the hand that previously tucked your hair behind your ear now rested at your neck, his thumb absentmindedly stroking your cheek, sometimes touching your ear as the kiss deepened. the push and pull of your lips was something that you’d both been thinking about for a long time, now it was finally happening, it seemed like there was no one else in the world, just you, and him. his other hand finally caught hold of your waist, he’d been trailing it up and down your side a few times before tugging at it, begging for you to get on top of him.
you stood your ground which made yonghee smile into the kiss, he liked that you knew what you wanted. but deciding now was the right time to show you exactly what you’d been missing out on all this time, yonghee took your bottom lip between his teeth and bit down gently, letting go as he felt you pulling away slightly.
worried that he’d done something wrong, he shot back into his seat, out of your eye line. “did i do something wrong?” he asked innocently.
“no, but we forgot to order the pizza!” you reminded him with a laugh. he let out a small, still cautious laugh, causing you to turn to look at him. his lips were exactly as you imagined, slightly swollen, maybe even a little bruised, “oh well, we have a lot of lost time to catch up on.”
you swung a leg over yonghee and straddled him, exactly as he wanted, before cupping his face with both hands and kissing him firmly on his lips. his hands rested naturally at your lower back, tracing the words “be mine” onto some of your exposed skin, knowing that you won’t even realise.
I have no idea if y’all have seen that video of yonghee tickling hyunsuk while they did a radio thing (idol radio?? Idk I wasn’t paying attention)
ANYWAYS Yonghee is usually never affectionate with you unless he knows for sure you’re in private BUT
You sometimes catch him being a little bit(emphasis on little bit) handsy with you. It starts with a hand on the small of your back, which shifts slowly over to your waist and wraps around gradually to squeeze you ever so gently.
When you ask him what’s up, he just looks at you lovingly, but his eyes keep moving down to your lips, so just know he’s needy.
I have a STRONG belief that he would never ever touch you to make a move on you, worried he would be doing something wrong, so he says it with his eyes. They’re sparkling in a way they don’t usually do & he’s just full of lust and love. He makes LOTS of eye contact and if he gets the ok from you, he’ll press tender & lingering kisses on your neck, jawline and cheek before he lays a passionate one on your lips as his hands run through your hair.
Oh and once that kiss is over and you’re catching your breath he bites his lip and just looks deep into your eyes, smirking a little.
NEWLY WED YONGHEE | masterlist
g!n reader x yonghee
wc: 322
Tumblr media
newlywed yonghee has been on my mind sooo much lately and i just!! he's the best husband ever :( first off, he takes any chance he can to refer to you as his wife/husband. "yeah, my wife/husband and i are going on a trip this weekend." or "what would my lovely wife/husband like for dinner, hm?"
he absolutely loves posting you on his instagram feed, just because he thinks you are so beautiful/handsome and he wants the entire world to see how unreal you are. his captions may be a bit cheesy, but they're sincere nonetheless. he treasures being able to look at photos of you together and see that sparkling ring sitting prettily on your finger.
he's super affectionate — from good morning cheek kisses, to back rubs, to long hugs in the middle of the kitchen. it fills him with so much pride to be able to say that you, out of all people, are his. that you chose to spend the rest of your life with him. and he brings it up every night, in those moments when you're both laying down, about to fall asleep: he tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear before his hand trails down to cup your cheek and he just stares at you with such a sparkle in his eyes as he mutters, "i can't believe you're mine. i love you so much."
when i tell you he spoils you... he SPOILS you, nonstop. he takes you out on dates every weekend, runs you a warm bath after a long day of work, doing all the chores around the house when you seem exhausted. i will never get over the thought of yonghee just wanting to take care of you and make sure you're in the best condition possible. there's nothing better to him than seeing a smile on your face — and he does anything he can to make sure it stays there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Yonghee x fem!reader
Genre: Fluff, established relationship
Summary: Yonghee returns from tour very late at night, you tried to wait for him but ended up falling asleep.
Warning: None
Requested: Yes
Notes: Hope you like it, Anon. :) And I’m sorry it took so long.
Tumblr media
Yonghee had been away on tour for three months now. You missed him dearly but were super proud of him, it had been a huge world tour that included cities in Asia, United States, Europe and even Latin America.
The pink haired was supposed to arrive tonight, and you were going to go pick him up at the airport but due to the weather, their fight from Los Angeles was delayed a few hours.
He texted you and told you that it was better to stay at home and that he would see you there. He also specifically said not to wait for him up.
Fast forward a few hours, the idol finally arrived at his home. It was 3:30 am.
He tried not to make a lot of noise since he knew you would be sleeping, or hoping. He knew how stubborn you could be.
He took his shoes off by the door and carried both of his suitcases. He entered the living room and saw the tv on, he shook his head and walked towards the sofa that was located in front of the tv.
He saw your sleeping figure laying down on the coach, Avatar playing in the background.
As he kissed your cheek and was about to carry you, you opened your eyes sleepily.
“Love?”
“Yes, honey. Hi.” He said smiling tenderly.
“You’re home!”
He smiled softly. “I am, darling.”
You pulled him into your arms. “I missed you, so much.”
“I missed you, too.” You stayed like that for a while, enjoying each others presence. “Why aren’t you in bed? I told you not to wait up for me.”
“I knoow, baby. But I wanted to see you.” You pouted.
“Okay, valid.” He smiled. “Now let’s go to bed.”
You didn’t get a chance to get up because Yonghee carried you in his strong arms.
“You know I can walk by myself, right?”
“Shh, let me spoil you.” You just smiled, putting you head on the crook of his neck and snuggling more into him. Action that made him blush.
You arrived at your destination soon after, your boyfriend looked down to see you completely asleep, which made him smile.
He carefully put you under the covers and laid next to you, not even bothering changing into his pyjamas, he was too exhausted to do that. He put an arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him. Laying your head against his chest.
“I love you, my love.” He kissed you on the forehead and quickly fall asleep, with you on his arms.
It was good to be home.
CIX REACTIONS
Reaction to you wearing their clothes
A/N: Requests open; Genre: Fluff Warnings: Suggestive, Cursing Masterlists: JPOP & KPOP
BX
Tumblr media
You let out a groan, not being able to reach your favorite mug from the top shelf in the cabinet, "Ugh why did he put it up here!" You mumble to yourself, before standing up on your tiptoes, stretching your body as far as you can. "Ugh, almost got i-" Your words trail off when you hear the sound of someone clearing their throat behind you, you twist back to look at them. "Ehm, hey.." You say sheepishly as you're met with your boyfriend, Byounggon, feeling your face heat up because you know he can definitely see your underwear peeking out from his shirt you have on. "Well damn you look good in my shirt.. need help?" He asks, letting out a laugh, making his way over to you, grabbing the cup and placing it in your hands. "Baby! Next time don't put my mug so high up!" You playfully scold, causing him to smirk as he wraps his arms around your waist. "Oh I'm definitely putting everything up high from now on!" He says, shooting you a toothy grin.
Seunghun
Tumblr media
"Hey jagi, can you bring me my charger??" Seunghun yells to you from your shared bedroom, causing you to playfully roll your eyes as you grab his charger. "Hun, just pause the gam-" You begin as you walk into the bedroom, stopping when you see the way your boyfriend is looking at you, eyes completely abandoning the game. "What..?" You ask, standing awkwardly in the doorway, he continues staring at you before a smile creeps onto his face. "You're wearing my hoodie?" He asks, a slight smirk evident on his face. "Y-yeah.. you said I could?" You say slightly confused, earning a laugh from him. "I did but I didn't expect you to actually do it.. I like it a lot.." He says, a blush creeping up his face causing you to smile. "Oh? You do?" You ask, making your way to him. "I didn't think you'd like it this much." You say, a smirk making its way on your lips as you plant a quick kiss on his lips before sprinting out of the room, Seunghun trailing behind you.
Yonghee
Tumblr media
"Y/N! You look so cute !" Your boyfriend says excitedly when he walks in the door after seeing you wearing one of his hoodies. "Awh haha thanks baby. How was rehearsal?" You ask, cheeks flushed from his previous compliment, Yonghee lets out a laugh at your shyness as he sits next to you. "Jagi, I can't focus right now, you look too cute in my hoodie!" He says, pulling you into his arms. "You're so dramatic!" You say through laughter when his fingers start tickling your sides. "S-stop." You beg, laughter continuing to fill the air as he joins you. "Only if you promise to never wear another hoodie again, only mine." He says in a serious voice, earning an exaggerated nod from you. "Okay yes whatever you want!" You yell out causing his fingers to stop as he pulls you into his arms. "Good, I could get used to this." He says, running his fingers through your hair. "I love you" You say with a smile, giving him a gentle kiss, causing him to smile. "I love you too."
Jinyoung
Tumblr media
"What is it babe?" You ask with a laugh, not expecting your boyfriend to look at you like that when you arrived with groceries. "I'm shocked! You look so good you look in my clothes! I didn't think I'd like it this much is all jagi." He says, turning towards you with a loaf of bread in his hands and a nonchalant look. "Why are you surprised? You saw me put it on this morning.. as a matter of fact you were the one who lost my shirt!" You tell him with a loud laugh, glaring your eyes at him as you remember your lost shirt. "Wh-me? I don't remember that, I don't know what you're talking about." Jinyoung defends, holding in his laughter as he looks away from you. "Okay.." You say sarcastically, teasing him as you wrap your arms around him. "Do you really like it when I wear your clothes?" You ask, he nods, returning your embrace before he looks down at you with a smirk. "Although, thinking about this morning.. I like you better without them." He says, earning a playful smack to the chest followed by laughter from both of you.
Hyunsuk
Tumblr media
"Hey Y/N, what was that song called aga-" Hyunsuk's words trail off when he sees you laying on the couch in his over-sized t-shirt, causing your head to fly up, you give him a confused look when you notice him looking at you. "What's wrong?" You ask as he continues his stare, causing you to sit up in an upright position. "Is that my shirt?" He asks, taking a seat next to you, a smile forming on your lips. "Yes! Did you really think I wouldn't take you up on it when you offered to share your clothes??" You ask with a big smile, bumping his much larger shoulder with yours, causing him to let out a small giggle. "I'm really glad you did.. you look so cute in my clothes jagi." Hyunsuk says sweetly, pulling you into his arms. "I don't think you'll ever get this shirt back though.. it's so comfy!" You tell him as you wrap your arms around him and look up at him. "You can keep it, it looks better on you anyways." He says, giving you a gentle kiss on your forehead, causing a giggle to escape your lips.
Genre: pure fluff
Warnings: none!
♡๑⌓✿ ◍✧* ♡๑⌓✿ ◍✧*♡๑⌓✿ ◍✧* ♡๑⌓✿ ◍♡
Byunggon
When he woke up about 10 minutes before his alarm
He was upset
One of the members that would get up on time even tho he didn't want to but he would take the time to lay with you while he can
You two where just laying there and it was so sweet and nice
And you looked so cute to him man was gonna burst
Suspect him to just just lay with you and do an analysis of all your pretty features till he actually had to get up
He'll probably not wake you up but he'll plant a kiss on top of your forehead whispering "good morning baby I'll see you later" whether you're awake or not
Seunghun
This man's heart exploded
Waking up to his alarm then looking down and seeing you face squished against his chest snuggling into him?
Man is so sad that he has to leave you like this
Looking at you he just has the biggest grin
Kisses the top of your head
Probably takes a photo of you and if you allow makes it his lock screen
He's absolutely in love
But he'll still get up no matter how much he doesn't want to since man got bills to pay
It's gonna take him atleast 5 minutes before he departs from you
He's gonna get ready super quickly though so that any free time he gets to spend he's just gonna go right back to laying with you and just put his shoes on when he has to leave
Yonghee
Absolutely mesmerized!!! He loves you so much
Another one who's probably gonna take a photo of you might make it his lock screen (totally will make it his lock screen)
Will pamper your face in kisses and if you wakeup from his antics he'll feel super bad but he'll just spend the time to talk to you
Finds your sleepy voice so cute </3
Legit just falling deeper and deeper in love with you
To how sweet his morning is from your morning moment he'll get out of bed hesitantly
but when he gets back from the dorm man will be all over you affection wise to makeup for the many hours he was gone
Jinyoung
Bold of you to assume hell wakeup before you in the first place
You probably are gonna wakeup before him unless you're also a heavy sleeper
Another member might just go in to wake him up but freeze when they notice you're there
Once he's finally awake the fact that you're cuddling with him and you're both do cozy?? This man does not want to leave
He'd way rather sleep in
One to fake a sickness to sleep in that day with you
If the company allows he's gonna be so damn happy
Loves the idea of a lazy day with you
If not he'll leave but be very pouty
Tumblr media
    The air vent whirred loudly. She wiped the fridge door handle one more time, eyes glancing around the floor.
    The tutoring session didn’t start until 6:00 PM but Yonghee always showed up five minutes early. Coat closet door squeaking as she threw the broom inside the dusty space.
    The doorbell rang loudly. Chipped polish from the tips of her nails snagged at the loose tendrils she brushed behind her ears. Dragging her feet, she scanned for any messes she might have missed.
    She made a vow to clean up after herself more routinely - instead of letting small messes clutter up until she had to worry about another human being seeing how she lived. Especially someone perfect. Smart. Put-together.
    Yonghee.
    Giving herself a few moments to catch her breath, adjusting the fit of her blouse as she stood beside the front door. Maybe it was too tight at the neck? Chest? She certainly wasn’t perfect.
    Far from.
    He was her tutor, helping her with her math homework, she couldn’t mess around with the idea of flirting with him. What she was concerned about wasn’t looking attractive to him. But she still had to present herself well. She couldn’t have her tutor thinking she was lazy.
    Her chest felt bubbly, like she could float into the air when she opened the door. Hands in his trousers pockets, blazer unbuttoned, and red tie impeccably in place against his creaseless white button-up, Yonghee looked more like her professor than her classmate. His round black framed glasses gave off an otherworldly maturity as he nodded to her in greeting.
    She could barely say more than a couple words to him as she let him in. His sparkling brown eyes lit up, jawline sharp as he smiled. Pearly white teeth shining, his high cheekbones heightening his handsome features. Almost lost in his beauty, she looked away.
    “Are you thirsty?” She walked over to her small white refrigerator in her tiny kitchen. “I have water or apple juice. Or beer?”
    “Water is fine, thanks.” His handling was careful as he set his shoes aside. Her body felt the familiar heat tingle up her stomach as Yonghee stood beside her, their shoulders touching as he washed his hands alongside her. “This soap smells good. Did you buy a new brand?”
    “You notice things like that?” Her head ached as hot blood rushed up to her head, neck and cheeks burning. He’d licked his lips as he smiled, eyes downcast.
    “You buy very good smelling soaps. I like this new scent too.”
    Her blouse felt heavy as the sensation of the silky fabric brushed against her skin. She turned away, hands grasping the paper towels from the rack that sat beside her glass kettle. The heat of his body created goosebumps up her back as he grabbed his own paper towel, reaching around her.
    She walked away from their close space together, getting two bottles of water out of her fridge. Watching him fold his damp paper towel before setting it down on the counter for reuse. He’d apologized profusely the first handful of times he kept throwing them into the trash after one use.
    “How did your Geometry test go?” He sat to her left at the kitchen table. Her back faced the front door and living room.
    Opening her Geometry book, she pulled out the five page quiz she took three days before. There were giant red marks all over the front page. A high, sweet whistle rang as he held her quiz up toward the lamp that sat behind him.
    “73% is a lot better than 59%.” Body feeling like it was a hot summer day, her blouse was heavy against the tops of her breasts. “I know I could have done better. I keep confusing congruent and similar triangles.”
    “That’s a great improvement.” His long fingers ran along the edge of the paper as he set it down. Her cheeks were ready to burst - like cherry tomatoes - his smile was sweet, eyes locking with hers. “Should we go over the questions you got wrong?”
    Tucking her left foot under her right leg, she leaned over as Yonghee picked up his black mechanical pencil. His thumb circled the eraser at the bottom end a couple times before clicking down to push out the lead tip. Dark tendrils fell over his forehead, head tilted down at the quiz.
    “Problem 4-” his pencil tapped against paper “-you forgot about the length of the third side. Despite being correct with the equal sides, that was the error.”
    Stomach aching, like something was growing inside. Up her chest.
    “I was so excited that I had written the equation down right, I can’t believe I forgot such a small thing.”
    “Hey, it’s OK.” His hand was over hers. The tone in his voice had gotten even softer. Like  a soft gust of wind. “Going over your mistakes is a good exercise. How else will you improve? A lot of people forget about the third side all the time.”
    The pink shade of his lips were the same shade as the panties she wore, making her stomach tingle like butterflies had been unleashed inside of her. His smile always made his eyes sparkle, even though the light of the lamp was behind him.
    Faking a cough, she freed her hand from his warm hold. Threw it over her mouth to look away. Hoping the sudden rush of butterflies inside would disappear. Wings thrashing against her chest and heart.
    “I should write this down.” She pulled out her stack of yellow Post-It notes, clicking the end of her pen against the table with her free hand. Deep breath, hoping the butterflies would settle down.
    For a while, they worked methodically together. He’d glance at the problem she got wrong, tell her where her mistake was, and she’d write down notes. The Post-It notes were placed inside her spiral notebook, each note having had Yonghee’s thick index finger gliding over it to make sure they remained adhered to her notebook.
    Her eyes were strained. Mind unable to track how long they’d been working. The mole she marveled so much at the corner of his eye came into view as he tilted his head down, capturing her gaze. Pretty inkspot on his creamy skin.
    “Are you tired? Should we do a stretch break?”
    He pushed his chest into the air as he brought up his arms, stretching them over his shoulders, flexing his elbows before throwing his fists up into the air over his head. Butterflies tickling her belly as his broad shoulders cracked. He’d pulled his blazer off. Shoulders looking so broad in his bleach white shirt.
    “Did you want coffee or tea?”
    “No. It’s too late for caffeine.”
    Tilting her head from side to side, she looked away from Yonghee’s gaze, eyes focusing on problem 36, one of the last problems she’d gotten wrong. Tension in her shoulders and neck loosened as the familiar cracking of her joints made noise when she rolled her shoulders back. Heat hit her cheeks as she locked eyes with Yonghee again.
    “Nice.” He smiled, eyes crinkling up. His handsome features brightened into sweet affection. “I knew we needed a stretch break.”
    “I don’t know why I’m so tense.”
    It was because Yonghee was beside her, smiling his innocently perfect smile, smelling like fresh linen and dew. Looking sexier than every before with loose tendrils falling over his eyes. Her chest shook deep inside, the million of butterflies rushing round and round her heart.
    His eyes moved down to the quiz that sat between their arms. She saw his lips moving but all she heard were noises, her mind unable to turn them into cohesive words. After a deep breath, her mind connected the noises with words.
    Settle down, butterflies. Please, settle down.
    “-in relation to the rectangle, not the triangles within it.”
    “Oh, I see.” She licked her lips, nervous. She’d taken nothing in. If she asked him to explain again, he’d know she hadn’t been paying attention. Worst tutor student ever. “Thank you, Yonghee. You’re so sweet. Coming here and teaching me so late. I probably waste so much of your time being so slow learning Geometry. As you know, I’ve never been good at math.”
    Mortified that she was babbling, she shifted her eyes down as his tongue licked his lips. They remained fixed on her blank Post-It notes as she thought of the pink dots she’d noticed flush up his cheeks. Her face was hot and her blouse felt heavy against her chest again.
    The sensation of hot blood rushing up her head finally dissipated. The insides of her ears stopped hearing loud ocean waves crash around as she realized the room had been silent for much longer than a minute.
    Yonghee had gone silent. The blurry corners of her limited vision were still, like he’d stopped moving too.
    “Yonghee?”
    “You will never waste my time. Every moment with you is special. No one cares for me like you do. I wish I could show you how much I want to care for you too. This tutoring is nothing.”
    She finally set her pen down and tilted her head up. His eyes were darting back and forth gently, studying her face. As she felt a hand on her neck, she touched his neck too. His face was coming in closer. His eyes were closing, so she did the same. His lips warmed hers.
    Her mind spun as the scent of his cologne filled her nose, infiltrating her mouth. Down her throat.
    She wanted more as his tongue wet her lips. Humming gently before she pushed her own tongue against his. His large, soft thumb caressed her jawline. Glided down the side of her neck.
    Fingers grabbing the collar of his shirt, she inhaled as she let him shove his tongue roughly into her mouth, moaning softly. Cool air touched her slickened lips as he broke their kiss.
    Her fingers slipped down his arm as he pulled away, one hand touching her chin. She wanted to blurt out how much she’d been wanting to kiss him, but she felt tears welling up in her eyes. If she did anything, she might cry.
    She shut her eyes, his lips over hers. The familiar musk and taste of sugary candy filled her senses. Hot tears pricked her eyelashes. Hands against his chest, she pushed him away, breathing heavily through her mouth.
    Eyes wide, he mirrored her breathing as she stood. Grabbing his hands, she tugged, hoping he would stand up. Tongue licking his lips, he grinned as he stood, hands shooting to her hips as he stood.
    “Oof!”
    Her mind blanked. She lost sense of gravity - air leaving her lungs.
    A moment passed as she realized her back had hit the wall, Yonghee’s sturdy body pressed against hers. Her mouth ajar, she inhaled dramatically, hands planted against his chest.
    “Are you OK?” His eyes were soft, fingers caressing her cheek, tilting her head up to look him in the eyes. Nodding, she pressed her lips together. “Can I kiss you again?”
    “Yes.”
    His thumb brushed over her lips, making heat surge down her chest to her stomach. Eyes shut. Knees weak. Yonghee’s hips pressing against hers.
    Biting her bottom lip, she bunched the fabric of his shirt into her fists. Their lips met again, his sweet kisses consuming her.
    Wrapping her arms around his neck her finger raked through his soft tendrils. His tongue flicked against her lips with every kiss. She teased him; parting her lips the slightest bit with every tug from him. His gentle hum against her lips as he paused to press their lips together shook her sinuses, reverberating down her spine.
    His lips on her neck, she bucked up against him. Breathing in deeply through her mouth. Knuckle lodged between her teeth, she bit down as her hold around him tightened, stifling a moan. His fingers massaged her flesh as they explored her back and hips.
    When his fingers caressed the inside of her thigh, heat surged up her insides, making the heat between her legs noticeably warmer. She released him, hands back to his chest. Her whole body filled up with butterflies, her mind spinning with jumbled thoughts. As much as she wanted more, she firmly pushed against his chest, making him break their kisses.
    “Have you had dinner?” Her fingers brushed the loose hairs away from his forehead.
    “I’m not very hungry right now.” His stomach grumbled loudly between them as it shook against her front.
    “Let’s order something.” She laughed as the apples of his cheeks flushed pink. “You need to eat.”
    She sat down on the couch with her legs crossed in front of her, feet tucked underneath as she scrolled through her phone.
    The local fish and rice restaurant sold a tofu and bamboo soup she enjoyed, and they also sold a boiled chicken and rice dish that was quite popular. With one arm around her waist, body resting against hers, he held her close. She was seated in the sun with him.
    Her focus was barely hanging on by a thread as he cooed gentle affirmations into her ear, finger continually brushing her loose baby hairs away from her face.
    “We don’t need to order rice. I have some.”
    His lips warmed the pulse on her neck. A gentle “Mmm-hmm” vibrated against the front of her throat. She moaned, his tongue flicking her skin.
    “I-I-I like boiled chicken. Do you want me to order some?”
    “Yes.” His nose nuzzled against the back of her ear. His deep inhale sent shivers down her spine. “You smell like lavender and peony, so sweet. So warm.”
    His fingertips’ strokes against her skin sent heat rushing down her neck. By the time she finalized the order, his lips were back on her neck, sending goosebumps down her chest and back.
    “Yonghee.”
    His lips were over hers. She grabbed his tresses to direct him into a better kiss. Her arms tightened around his neck as his arms parted her legs, settling himself between them.
    She gasped against his lips as she felt the heat of his cock against her clothed center, the weight of his hips creating a heavy upwards friction that pushed against her labia.
    “That feels so good,” she breathed against his lips, nails digging into the flesh of his neck.
    “I don’t want to rush it,” he said softly.
    “Liar!” She laughed as she pushed against his chest.
    His eyes were heavily hooded as he planted his hands on her hips. Bucked his hips against her again, harder and faster.
    She cried out, feeling her chest ache, gasping for air. Arms hooking under his armpits, she clung onto his shoulders as she thrust against his motions.
    The friction sent waves of fiery heat deep into her core. Her insides were hot and wet. Sweat and arousal making her whole body tingle.
    “Do you want to do more than this?” He quickened his thrusting, hands grabbing her wrists as she loosened her grip on him. She arched her back, hips no longer able to keep up with Yonghee. Her mind was filled with the pleasure of his cock throbbing and rubbing against her wet heat. “You’re so beautiful. So warm. Do you want more?”
    “I-I-I can’t!” He stopped, breathing heavily as he held her arms down beside her shoulders. As he opened his mouth, she cut him off. “Th-this isn’t my first time, but I’m shy. I’m not just a girl you can sleep with.”
    “I wouldn’t just sleep with you.”
    “I’m not a naive girl, you know. I know a lot of guys say that.”
    He got off of her, holding his hands out as he offered to help her sit up. Her cheeks flushed with heat as she watched him sit back in his seat, giving room between them.
    “Don’t be silly.” She moved to wrap her arms around his waist, resting her head against his chest. “What plans do you have tomorrow?”
    “I have an exam in my morning class, and then I’m free to study for the rest of the day.” One arm wrapped around her body as his free hand touched her chin, making her look up at him. “Will you join me for lunch? I want to spend time with you outside of our tutoring lessons.”
    “What did you have in mind?” Her shoulders felt tense as heat rushed up her stomach to her chest.
    “There’s a sushi place nearby here that sells melon shaved ice too.”
    “That sounds nice. And afterwards, why don’t we come back here and do some more math?”
    “You want to study?” His voice raised a few notes, making her laugh as she sat up to look at him.
    “Add in you and me,” she began slowly, hand touching the front of his shirt, fingernail tapping against the top button of his shirt, “subtract our clothes, divide the energy it takes for you and me to have a good time-”
    “-I get it, I get it.” His nose nuzzled against her cheek as his lips warmed her neck. “I’ll buy condoms and chocolates and…lube?”
    “So romantic, Yonghee, you’re so calculated.”
    “You’re not as good at puns as you think.”
    “Coming from a math wiz, that doesn’t add up to much.”
    She laughed into his lips as his hands were back at her wrists, his body pushing her to lie down onto the couch.
    Body consumed with butterflies, she held onto him tight. Yonghee spun her world upside down, but he held her safe, hands holding hers tight, lips sucking her earlobe. A sweet sigh escaped her lips.
    “Thank you for this tutoring session, Yonghee.”
I’m in need of serotonin so here’s random CIX (maybe just seunghun and bx because i’m tired) headcanons as your best friend/boyfriend i thought of
Byounggon
-BX is a big teddy bear and would always be clinging to you whether it’s having an arm over your shoulder or holding onto the hem of your shirt
-gets pouty when you try to annoy him/tease him but secretly loves it and has no hesitation to return the favor
-well sing off key randomly to make you laugh if he thinks your having a bad day and will do anything to make you smile again
-likes it when you cling to him first. he will get protective big brother mode and won’t let anyone else try to take you away especially if your feeling down or tired
-i could do so many for bx but moving on
Seunghun
-would 1000% sing you lullaby’s or your favorite songs without hesitation hed even go out his way to make a playlist of your music taste for when he’s with you
-Would definitely give you small but noticeable moments of physics affection if he wanted like holding your hand/thigh, kissing you’d anywhere he could (shoulders, neck,cheek,hand,lips etc)
-would goof around and joke to try and make you laugh and smile as much as possible because he loves to see it
-would bring you to karaoke atleast once a week and make sure you let off some steam by screaming songs terribly with him before he made the place his own concert
