Trip to Batam day 1
BATAM!!!
Love Love Love Batam sooooo Much!! *pardon me sedikit lebay*
But Seriously, Batam is one of the best getaway place in Indonesia.
So, last week i went to Batam for business trip, 4days 3 night. I went there on Tuesday evening (leaving work early *yeaaay*) and come back at friday night. My chief editor give me one month to prepare everything. Basically one month is enough to find someone contact person and make appointment. But the editor that will join me and actually the main interviewer still busy with his other deadline that given by my chief editor. We didn't have time to discussing the trip until we arrived in the Hotel, which is means i need to study about Batam in one night.
Rather than studying about Batam, we choose to have some drink (beer actually). So hopeless!! 2 uncertain appointment!!

  First day in Batam!! Look at his face, no passion to do interview. His name is Hiro, Japanese editor who's in charge as main interviewer. He's like chameleon, no passion while breakfast but very passionate when meet the interviewee.
Day one is Labor day!!
We meet Labor union guy from both side. In Indonesia, there are two sides of labor union. First is pro government or under Andi Gani (KSPSI) and the other is non government; under Said Iqbal (FSPMI). Many Japanese investor are leaving Batam because of safety reason. Every year big demo are hold in Batam, the worst case is one of the Japanese CEO hold because of sweeping is carried by labor. *full stories about big issue in Batam please by our product nna.id* hahahaha
The first labor union guy in very kind and warmth, he gave Wine and cigaar to Hiro-san. The other labor union is very serious person but also kind and give many information. After finished with the interview we decided to take a picture of Batam views. Our driver take us to one of hills in Batam

BWeather in Batam is unpedictable like Jakarta, Very Hot in the morning and hard rain after lunch. So first day we didn't get a good picture because of the fogs.
Diner time, unfortunately my chameleon editor cannot join me and Aki-san (sales department). Suddenly he got a call from his boss and need to do some works (so pity). Me and Aki-san went to the most famous fish soup restaurant in Batam, Yong Kee. Basically it is just a clear soup with green tomatoes and seafood. But they sure have unique taste that i still can't guess, i forget the price but below Rp 100.000 for large size. Beside fish soup they have "otak-otak", the 'otak-otak' is different with in Jakarta, it also delicious!!!
We are a good girl, we bring some food for Hiro. BIG MAC from Mc Donals!!!! He's very happy with the burger~~ haha...

20190331 Monday 外国にある中華レストランはその地元に合わせた味になっているのが普通だ。そう普通なんです、なんせ商売ですから売らなければ儲けがないのが常。華僑の人にしてみれば美味しくてもそれぞれの土地の味になじまなければ食べてもらえない。 一般的に人の嗜好とはもう6歳児の頃に決まるというから、人は伝統的というか保守的というか食わず嫌いというか難しいものです。 猫も生後三ヶ月以内に何を好みとするか決まるそうだ。日本の猫が魚好きなのは日本での話で世界各国猫の好きな食べものは違っている。現にわたしが同居しているブリティッシュショートヘアさまたちはチキン嫌い、肉嫌い、普通の魚も嫌い。カリカリだけが唯一無二のサバイバルフーズ。それでも最近はイタリア産のマグロをベースとした缶詰のウエットフードを家へ来て3年経ってようやく食してくれるようになった。 猫だってこうなのだから人間様はなおさらのこと。ましては旅行者ではなく地元に住んでいる人たちの味に合わせるのですから華僑のコックさんたちの努力は並大抵のものではないのは言うまでもないことです。しかし・・・・・それは往々にしてかなり味がちょっと違う、はっきり言��て不味い。長い適応年月がたちもとの味を忘れ去ったレストランのコックさんたちがほとんどです。そのなかでもこの中華はすばらしい、恐れず華僑の人たちの故郷の味を再現して尚且品質にも気をつかっている。 #yongkee #chinese #restaurant #cantonese #authentic #localfood #中華レストラン #広東料理店 #地元の味 #脆皮焼肉 #叉烧 #廬笋 #アスパラガス #えび味噌 #蝦醤 #炸大腸 #ホルモン焼き (at Yong Kee) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwQQYbnl22y/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=i3oao9xoaepz
