do you mind if i ask how you convinced your mac to open freetube? i can't figure it out and i'm so frustrated!

don't mind at all!

I downloaded it and put it into applications like any other app first

but then when I tried to open it it kept saying something like "mac can't verify this app" so if you have a different problem this might not work

to fix I went to setting -> privacy and security

scrolled way down past the list of apps

and below this little section there was a little notification box saying something like "freetube could not be verified"

and in the bottom right (I think) corner of that box was a button that says "open anyways"

so I clicked that and then I think it gave me an "are you sure" popup and then it worked!

Is Leona Audley by any chance named after Eleanor Audley from the animated Cinderella?

yes! lots of weird little easter eggs like that sprinkled throughout, esp in the song names for most of the characters- unless i was really tired and gave up and just named things for no reason. 

(for instance, cannot remember why i chose the name leona.)
