Day 10/21: I'm just going to leave you with this quote from an amazing book. . "There's a story about a man riding a horse, galloping quickly. It appears he's going somewhere very important. A man standing along the roadside shouts, "Where are you going?" the rider replies," I don't know. Ask the horse!" ' . 'This is the story of most people's lives; they're riding the horse of their habits, with no idea where they're headed. It's time to take control of the reins, and move your life in the direction of where you really want to go." . - The Compound Effect, Darren Hardy (@darrenjhardy) . #habits #ridingyourhabits #kickyourhabit #takecontrol #makelifewhatyouwant #youonlyhaveonelifetolive #makethechange #takethefirststep #thecompoundeffect #amazingbook #youshouldreadit #littlestepsadduptobigresults #kindafit (at New Hampshire) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtR2xLplzvc/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1pyxbq7ek79ym

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #bookstagram #bookstagramespaña #bookstagramfeature #bookphotography #books #toread #book #bookcommunity #bookjunkie #libros #fantasy #elprincipecruel #hollyblack #faerie #booksiwanttoread #youshouldreadit https://www.instagram.com/p/B0WS37Ui1rZ/?igshid=1mswudgur0ccl

Have I told you lately how much I love @blackholly's Curse Workers series? 🖤 So many readers discovered Holly Black with The Cruel Prince, but Holly has written tons more previously and this remains one of my all-time favorite series. Crime families with magic powers, a tormented antihero protagonist, and a steamy romance ... Seriously, if you haven't read these yet, get on it ASAP!!! . . #FearYourNovelSeptember - Color in the Title . . #bookrec #curseworkers #hollyblack #favoritebook #yabooks #simonteen #yabookstagram #bookgram #bookflatlay #youshouldreadit #recommendedreading #yalit https://www.instagram.com/p/BoH-JmYFUQp/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=131zkvni800d5

P.S.: lovely thread right now on youshouldreadit. May I chime in? Needle man did a great job. I'm mostly painfree now. When I said that I was surprised at the swiftness of the cure, he remarked: "You are a very very strong woman." I looked him straight in the eye and replied: "I know." Hugs and Thank You. XO

"Isn't it comforting to know you only need to take a series of tiny steps, consistently, over time, to radiantly improve your life?" - Darren Hardy . The first step is the hardest. But the best part is, it doesn't have to be a big step! Start taking little baby steps of days, weeks or even years and the results you see will be amazing! . Start today. Make one change at a time. Your body, mind, soul and health will thank you for it. . Never forget that you can do hard things! . #MotivationMonday #babysteps #thecompoundeffect #amazingbook #youshouldreadit #yourbodywillthankyou #kindafit https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp0gYJCnySX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=3wp494xrcble

This books should be a staple in every household. Still so much to learn and I have been following Dr. Greger's youtube channel @nutrition_facts_org for quite a while. I am so happy that this bible of nutritional wisdom is coming out in German very soon. Already pre-ordered it for my husband. Also, the app "Dr. Greger's Daily Dozen" is very good to eat a healthy, balanced and plantbased diet without having to worry if you have eaten enough of certain nutrients. 👍🏻👍🏻 #vegan #vegansofig #vegansofinstagram #plantbased #crueltyfree #book #youshouldreadit #goodbook #gutesbuch #buch #veganlife #fit #fitfam #fitspo #fitmom #healthy #healthychoices #goodforyou 👍🏻😘

Illuminae Review
Title: Illuminae
Author(s): Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Synopsis (from Goodreads): This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do. This afternoon, her planet was invaded.
The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.
But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again.
Rating: 4.276/5
I absolutely love this book. I bought this book at my local bookstore after seeing it and its format. As soon as I had finished the book, I recommended it to all of my friends who are now reading it and also love it. The format of this book is one of my favourite things about it. The book isn’t written like a typical novel. The story is told through instant messaging, security footage, from the point of view of an artificial intelligence, and more. Many pages also have pictures or have the words written in a shape to show the action. This really breaks up the book. I sometimes find that I get bored when reading long books, but the format of this one really helped that. Another thing that made this book not drag on was that the storyline was full of bumps and twists. There was always something happening. It felt like a crazy roller coaster that had tons of unexpected drops and flips.
Another great thing about this book is that it’s nothing like anything I’ve read. A lot of times with science fiction I find that the storyline is very similar to other books, but Illuminae was nothing like this.
I would highly recommend Illuminae to science fiction lovers. With that being said, I don’t usually like science fiction and I clearly loved the book. If you want a thrilling read nothing like anything you’ve ever read before, Illuminae is for you.

Happy book birthday today to DIVE SMACK by @demebrodsky!! 🎉 I was going to have my review up on the blog by today, but life has been kicking my butt and I'm WAY behind on writing reviews. (Also, I think I'm just burned out?) . . Anyway! Here is my mini-review of DIVE SMACK to celebrate today's release: despite having an iffy track record with thrillers, I loved this deliciously twisty turny book that kept me on my toes throughout the narrative. Even when I thought I had things figured out, the book still surprised me. This was a really refreshing, unique read and is one that will have you eagerly turning the pages. It's in stores now! I'll post the full synopsis in the comments below. . . #divesmack #newreleases #newbooks #bookreview #yabookblogger #yabooks #torteen #yareads #yareaders #youngadultbooks #bookgram #bookrec #youshouldreadit
