Kamen Rider Saber: 1.26 Deep Darkness, With a Sword

Calibur's identity turned out to be Kento, who should have died. Despite this revelation however, Kento suddenly leaves telling them he will seal all the Seikens to save the world from destruction. Believing that they can fight together again, Touma and his friends try to engage Primitive Dragon who has caused Touma to go berserk more than once. Meanwhile, Ren is glad to hear that Kento has resurrected, but is told by Reika that he is an enemy of the guild. So just what happened to Kento? This is the beginning of the battle over the Almighty Book, Yuri tells them, being the first owner and keeper of the power of the Sword of Shadows. Yuri confronts Kento alone, but it eventually drags him into a battle against him. Just then, he starts to make his move.

Altered my brain chemistry. A character thought to be dead returns, and turns on his friends. It's gut wrenching as we see how he experienced numerous visions of the future, nearly all including the death of his childhood friend who he cares for deeply. All of these visions are so real to him and bring him to the brink of complete despair. He turns on them, as saving the world side-by-side can only lead to failure and death. You can feel the characters' hearts break as they see their friend is not the same as he once was. But he can't let his friend die, he rather sacrifice himself then let him die. There's a lot of sadness, anxiety, and fear and it's felt by the audience.

I'm seeing talk about people wanting Kaima/Kamen Rider Seeker to return in Geats' main season but I really don't see the point?

When a movie exclusive character last showed up, it was the immortal sealed away swordsman from Saber, who was just a stock villain in that 20 minute special. They gave him some backstory with Yuri, a great moment with Mei based on their no-longer-human status, and their sword was later claimed by Desast. It was fantastic because there was that stuff to use.

Kaima/Seeker has no connection to the cast leads, and an arc that gets resolved in the film. The best you can give him is an interaction with Win who should though be having their screentime dedicated to Ace, Tsumuri and Niram. Kaima's existence at this stage in the game (episode 37/50ish) sort of clashes with other players and serves no real purpose.

If anyone should return, it should be Daichi- and here me out, as a Jyamato. So we can find out his ideals and how far he's willing to go, which can be used to also tie in Beroba, Kakera, and thus by extension, Keiwa and Sara.
