You're in my head
I had plans for the weekend
But wound up with you instead
Back here again
Got me deep in my feelings
When i should be in your bed
You and i go back to like '09 it's like forever
And you were there my lonely nights, yeah, keeping me together
So wouldn't it make sense if I was yours and you could call me your baby
But we say we're just, say we're just
Friends
Just for now
Yeah but friends don't say words that
Make friends feel like more than just
Friends
Just for now
Now I'm over pretending
So let's put the "end" in friends
Friends
Just for now
Yeah but friends don't say words that
Make friends feel like more than just
Friends are not supposed to get too close
And feel emotions that we're feeling now, now, now
We ain't slowing down, down, down
But once we cross the line, there's no denying you and I can never turn around, round, round
Know we'll never be the same
You and I go back to like '09 it's like forever
And you were there my lonely nights, yeah, keeping me together
So wouldn't it make sense if I was yours and you could call me your baby
But we say we're just, say we're just
Friends
Just for now
Yeah but friends don't say words that
Make friends feel like more than just
Friends
Just for now
Now I'm over pretending
So let's put the "end" in friends

There are 2 available!
Lost Souls, Tomás Hijo's Hueste de Ánimas Sculpture.
The ”Hueste de Ánimas” (Host of Souls) is a collaboration between the illustrator Tomás Hijo, the researcher Jesús Callejo and the sculptor Miguel Elisardo Bueno, based on the book “El mundo encantado de Castilla y León” edited by the Ethnographic Museum (Zamora). It is a procession of doomed souls that travel at night along the lonely roads of León (Spain). If you find it and you’re not careful, they’ll take you with them. Other names and manifestations are the Holy Company from Galicia, Güestia from Asturias and Huestantigua from Castilla. They are also related to the Sluagh na marbh (host of the dead) from Ireland and Scotland and The Wild Hunt from Northern Europe.
Our sculpture is manufactured using traditional methods and cutting edge technology: It’s been modeled in clay, molded with silicone and casted in polyurean marble resin. The most delicate pieces that are the objects they carry in their hands are modeled using virtual reality with ultraviolet photopolymeric printing resin. Finally, it is hand-painted in acrylics, finished with Judean bitumen patina and a light touch of pearlescent mica.
This work is extremely faithful to the original illustration, reflecting not only the general shape but also the notches carved by Tomás Hijo’s gouge during the process of creating the print.
Given the complexity of the design, full of chiaroscuro and nooks and crannies, each Host must be treated with exceptional care and attention to achieve this level of detail. It weighs almost 0.45 lb and the impression to the touch is stone-like. The measurements are the same of the original engraving plate of Tomás Hijo.
Available in Arte Feudo’s Etsy Shop.

May 24th, 2022 was awards day at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Fourth grader Mayah Zamora won three of them – in math, robotics, and for making the honor roll. Not long after the ceremony, an 18 year-old walked into the school with an AR-15 style Daniel Defense rifle and started shooting.
Nineteen children and two teachers were killed. Zamora was airlifted to the hospital and has had more than sixty surgeries in the year since. Zamora's mom, Christina, says her daughter had been a fearless child before the shooting.
"Mayah shows a fear of this world that she had never shown before," she says. "Someone unexpectedly knocking on the door is a scary trigger for her."
Last year, the Zamoras became the second family to file a lawsuit against law enforcement, the school district, the gun store, and the maker of the weapon, Georgia-based Daniel Defense.
Federal law protects the firearms industry from lawsuits if their products are misused. But the law has exceptions, and the lawsuits allege that Daniel Defense can be held liable for what happened because of how they market their products.
"We need to speak up, for our daughter, for our family, for children in the future, maybe this will make a change," Christina Zamora says. "Nineteen children died. They were massacred. By an 18-year old boy. There's something wrong there."
In 2005, Congress granted broad immunity to gun manufacturers. But some legal experts believe exceptions allow gunmakers to be held partially responsible for these mass shootings if they deceptively marketed their products in violation of the law.
Georgia State University Law Professor Timothy Lytton, an expert on health and safety regulation, says Daniel Defense is notorious for its provocative marketing.
The lawsuits argue that the company violated federal trade law by unfairly marketing its products to civilians as tools for offensive, military-style operations.
"And they also allege that the placement of this AR-15 style weapon in video games allowed young men in particular to fantasize about use of this weapon in a way that would simulate the kind of violence that we saw in Uvalde," Lytton says.
After the Sandy Hook school shooting, some families of the victims made a similar argument in the Connecticut courts against the gunmaker Remington, which was in bankruptcy. And while the families won a seventy-three million dollar payment, it didn't create a sea change.
"It's not like a manufacturer came to the table and said, 'We admit liability here for the carelessness of our marketing practices.' This was a bankruptcy in which bankruptcy creditors paid out in order to get the company back into business," Lytton says.
The U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up the case on appeal. So while gun control supporters cheered the settlement, the litigation left many legal questions unresolved. One big question is whether violations of the Federal Trade Commission Act even apply to the exceptions allowed under that sweeping immunity law. As a result, the Uvalde lawsuits against Daniel Defense could be the biggest test yet of the extent of the firearms industry's liability protections.
The cases have been filed in federal court in Texas, with the help of Everytown Law, an arm of the group Everytown for Gun Safety.
Daniel Defense didn't respond to an interview request, but has called the lawsuit politically-motivated and legally unfounded.
Mark Oliva is managing director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a trade association for the firearms industry.
"Trying to sue a firearm manufacturer for the crimes committed by a remote third party would be the same thing as trying to sue Ford and Annhauser Bush for the deaths caused by drunk driving," Oliva says.
Even if the Uvalde cases clears the stringent immunity law and are allowed a trial, the courts would still have to consider another set of thorny questions, like whether the company's marketing is protected by the first amendment.
But Lytton says whatever happens, these liability cases put more focus on gunmakers.
"You only need one or two lawsuits to win to transform the whole industry," Lytton says. "If it got planted in Connecticut, and it flowers in Uvalde, that might be enough. And if it never takes root there, it's likely to pop up in Chicago. Or California."
Some states are passing laws that would make it easier to file these suits against gunmakers, but Oliva says the industry is pushing back.
"Are we going to bend to the idea that we're going to suffer death by a thousand cuts? I think your answer to that is we're challenging the law in New York. We're challenging the law in New Jersey. We're challenging the law in Delaware," Oliva says.
Back in Texas, the Zamoras want to make Wednesday's anniversary as normal a day as they can. Right now, they're focused on their daughter's recovery.
But they hope accountability will come, too.

This spring, engineers at TAP Air Portugal’s maintenance subsidiary huddled around an aircraft engine that had come in for repair. The exposed CFM56 turbine looked like just another routine job for a shop that handles more than 100 engines a year. Only this time, there was cause for alarm. Workers noticed that a replacement part, a damper to reduce vibration, showed signs of wear, when the accompanying paperwork identified the component as fresh from the production line. On June 21, TAP pointed out the discrepancy to Safran SA, the French aerospace company that makes CFM engines together with General Electric Co. Safran quickly determined that the paperwork had been forged. The signature wasn’t that of a company employee, and the reference and purchase order numbers on the part also didn’t add up. To date, Safran and GE have uncovered more than 90 other certificates that had similarly been falsified. Bogus parts have been found on 126 engines, and all are linked to the same parts distributor in London: AOG Technics Ltd., a little-known outfit started eight years ago by a young entrepreneur named Jose Alejandro Zamora Yrala.

Tony Dalton's writings are liked in the US
Tony Dalton's writing career continues to go from strength to strength, and he is already writing a series for American television and has been invited by Jennifer López's production company to join their ranks.
The series he is creating is called Gone and tells the story of a man who, after undergoing plastic surgery on his face, wakes up months later with the face of another person.
And from López's office he received a phone call to send them what he had done.
Both requests, he said, came after he wrote "Live Bet" for rapper 50 Cent, which will be made into a feature film.
"Everything has come to me from there... The series was first in Spanish, then they talked to me to see if there would be the possibility of sending it and writing it in English." “I've met with them twice now... I still can't say who; is in the process of buying. This is how it is, nothing is tied up,” he explained.
Tony Dalton, who became known on television with the broadcast "No te equivocas", is the writer of "Matando Cabos" and "Sultanes del sur", where he also acted. He already has the Novenario on the door, which would be shot in September.
And, if things go even better, he might even work with J.Lo, whose office he's already been wanted from. “Right now they spoke to me for a series. They just told me to send them what I've done and it's already there. They wanted to see if he could write in English, and that's what I've sent,” Dalton expressed.
For now, the actor participates in the recordings of "Los simuladores", a new Televisa series, where four subjects are dedicated to solving their clients' problems through deception.
There he plays Santos, in charge of logistics and planning what must be done.
The cast also includes Arath de la Torre, Alejandro Calva and the Spanish Rubén Zamora.
“Each of the characters has its importance, its influence and it is turning out very well.
We are barely in the second chapter and I understand that Jorge Ramírez and Simón Bross are going to throw themselves to direct a chapter, "Dalton reported.

The History of Pierre Gaveaux
Pierre Gaveaux (9 October 1761 – 5 February 1825) was a French operatic tenor and composer, notable for creating the role of Jason in Cherubini's Médée and for composing Leonore ou l'amour conjugal, the first operatic version of the story that later found fame as Fidelio.
Gaveaux was born in Béziers and sang in the cathedral choir there from the age of seven. Although intending to enter the priesthood, he also took lessons in composition. He next became first tenor at the Basilica of Saint-Seurin in Bordeaux, studying with Franz Beck, and subsequently decided to follow a career in music, becoming a conductor at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux as well as continuing to sing.
After a period in Montpellier, he moved to Paris where, on 26 January 1789, he took part in a performance of Giacomo Tritto's Le Avventure Amorose, which marked the inauguration of the Théâtre de Monsieur company in the Salle des Machines at the Tuileries Palace.
He subsequently performed with the company in operas such as Paisiello's L’Infante de Zamora (in 1789), and on 18 July 1791 he sang the role of Floresky in the première of Cherubini's Lodoïska. When the company moved to the Théâtre Feydeau, he was involved in a "folly in verse" called Le club des bonnes gens which was banned by the censor for being unpatriotic.
He was active during the revolutionary period, composing in 1792 a hymn to the Supreme Being. On 19 January 1795, his famous anti-Jacobin song Le Réveil du peuple (The Awakening of the People), to words by Jean-Marie Souriguière de Saint-Marc, was first performed. Notwithstanding the banning of the song on 8 January 1796 by the Directoire, he continued his career in opera, appearing in François Devienne's Les visitandines, and creating the role of Jason in Cherubini's Médée on 13 March 1797.

The giant and faerie shared yet another laugh as the winged creature waved her hand and conjured up a strand of pink light. Finished with her performance, the fae landed upon the giant’s outstretched finger.
“Well, I must begrudgingly admit, Hamm,” the fae sighed languidly, “I have certainly enjoyed your company!”
The giant gave his friend a toothy grin in return. “Yeah, I feel the exact same, Zamora! Oh, but wait! Didn’t you say you had to, uh, hit me with a magic charm or something? You might wanna do that before you head back home.”
The fae flapped her wings once in irritation. “Hmph. Well, Oona wanted me to use a glamour to lure you away from your home. But, seeing as how you’re not half the monster that she warned me about, I’m inclined to let you be. How does that sound?”
Hamm scratched his head. “Uh, I dunno. You said this lady was a queen, right? Don’t queens usually get really mad when you don’t do what they say?”
“Hmph. You’re right.” Zamora scratched her chin, then made a noise of realization. “Hey, I just got an idea! Why don’t I stay here with you?”
Hamm blinked. “Uh, are you sure? I mean, if you’re trying to hide, I’m not exactly discreet-sized, here.”
Zamora blew a raspberry at the giant. “If Oona wants to hunt me down, she’ll have us both to contend with. And besides, as I mentioned earlier, I’ve quite enjoyed your company here. Unless, of course…you’d rather not have me?”
“Oh, uh, no!” Hamm shook his head, his cheeks flushing a deep red. “Or, I mean, are you sure you don’t want to at least try to work things out with Oona?”
Zamora rolled her eyes. “Hmph. Oona’s not really the type to compromise often. Or ever.”
Tumblr media
“Oh. Well, in that case, it’d be great to have some company!”
Zamora angled her head away to hide her own growing blush.
“Thank you...”

The Downfall of Nikita Dragun
Tumblr media
Picture this: It’s the year 2018 and the beauty community is taking over YouTube. We have James Charles, Nikkie Tutorials, Jeffree Star and company (Nikita Dragun, Laura Lee, Gabriel Zamora, and Manny MUA). But we all know how south things went with Jeffrey *dramageddon 1* *cough* *cough*. And while they all went their separate ways Nikita was able to rise up and really able to establish a name in the beauty space with her up and coming beauty brand “Dragun Beauty”. There was the video of her infamous “Dragun Egg” with influencer/model/secret boyfriend? Michael Yearger, collaborations with big names like Bretman Rock, her own snapchat show, and being featured in Netflix’s “Hype House”. Nikita was on the up and up until… It all came crashing down in the most heart breaking way.
In and around 2021, Nikita began posting some really cryptic things on her social media such as laying out near a river dressed as Itachi Uchia and claims her family forced her into a mental health hospital. She even posted a video from the hospital bed showcasing off a big red scar across her abdomen. Clearly,  Nikita was not in good spirits. After a social media break, Nikita would return to announce her Bipolar diagnosis and her struggles with mental illness. She was seemingly able to bounce back fairly quickly and was posting again as usual. But then the unthinkable happened…
In November 2022, news broke of Nikita acting erratically at a hotel in Miami running around topless in the pool and throwing a water bottle at hotel staff. Reports of Nikita being placed in a men’s prison spread like wild-fire igniting outrage and #justiceforNikita. However, the prison denied placing her in a men’s unit and stated she was placed in a private cell away from other prisoners. Then came the bizarre video with a Miami judge where Nikita giggles and laughs and blows a kiss towards the judge. Rumor has it that Nikita’s team abandoned her and that her fans bailed her out of jail.
Nikita then vanished from the internet only to recently return to announce she has an OnlyFans. To me, it seems like her team and the public have kind of given up on her. Her instagram follower count just dipped to under 9 million and Dragun Beauty appears to no longer exist. When I try to go to the site it appears the domain has expired. All in all it looks like Nikita hit the nail in the coffin and who knows when she’ll be resurrected. What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them. Comment down below.

Introduction
Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Yadira Zamora, and I am a senior at Central Michigan University. I am currently majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in applied communication. I am a 21-year-old living in Wyoming, Michigan. I found my passion in the business field at a young age. When I turned 16, Target hired me. This path became a gateway that changed my life. The more I started to learn about Target's business and operations, the more I became intrigued and excited. Some career goals I am thriving for are to receive my bachelor's degree, develop my communication skills, and enhance my networking skills. My long-term career goal is to broaden my knowledge in various business fields.
Furthermore, what I hope to accomplish in my blog is to explore outside of my comfort zone and begin to look beyond what is trending and instead focus on what is important to know or how to create unique blogs that will catch my audience's attention and allow me to become a relevant source. I believe that blogs are important because they allow you to build and control your online presence while advertising meaningful content and attracting newcomers.
Moreover, a company I believe is exemplary concerning its use of social media is Nike. I say this because Nike is active on the most popular social media platforms. These platforms include Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and more. What I think this company does well is focusing beyond just selling its products. Nike has become a motivator for a healthier lifestyle and showing its support for its community by stepping up and promoting campaigns. Nike has supported several campaigns, including #BlackLivesMatter and #StopAsianHate. It could be agreed with individuals that Nike doesn't post too often, but, when the company does, it is thoughtful and eye-catching.

Bullfrog Joy
April 5, 2024
Good Morning! The snow seems to be over. On to a little warmer and sunshine, if you please! I can be joyful when it is cloudy and snowy, but it’s much more difficult April! Oh, quick joy… before the cold, Jan brought home a handful of asparagus from our farm garden, about three bites a piece. It was soooo good! There will be more eventually!
I talk a lot about books that bring me joy, but this week I have a special story. I met an author!!! Last week a friend, not knowing I had read his book, just happened to mention that Javier Zamora, the author of Solito, was going to be a guest lecturer at WIU. I loved the book, so Tuesday I was off to a college lecture. Fun!
His first lecture was about how he wrote the book. The second hour he read a section of the book and answered audience questions. So powerful to hear his story in his voice. (And in between I got to eat at Chick-fil-a! (Did you know there was one in the WIU Union?)
The book is a memoir of Javier’s trip from El Salvador, through Mexico, to the United States, when he was 9 years old. His parents were already in California so they paid a coyote to take him across Mexico to Tucson. A trip that was supposed to take two weeks, took ten weeks. The book is a very emotional read.
However I only cried when his grandpa said goodbye and put him on a bus, full of strangers, not knowing what kind of dangers the boy would face or who would be there to help him. I cannot imagine doing that, but neither can I imagine life so bad that it would be necessary.
If Javier made the dangerous journey his life would be better. But what a journey it would be. One of Javier’s fears was going to the bathroom that had a flushing toilet. He had never used one before, and he was afraid it would suck him in and carry him away. His shower experience was a bucket filled with water by a pump that he could dump on his head. The man he was supposed to trust, left him. Another man and woman and little girl took him in as part of their family.
OK my friends, I guess so far that doesn’t sound joyful, but he does make it across the border. His parents have to pay more money, he gets caught in a detention center and gets deported once but tries again, he almost dies of thirst and cold in the desert, but it is a joyful reunion at the end of the book.
He said writing the book was sort of a catharsis for him. It made him think about where he had been and why and where he is now. He continues to advocate for the undocumented who have left their homes and come to the USA for a better life. After his presentation he met each person who attended, listened to them and signed something personal in each one’s book.
I had the privilege of working with many undocumented students when I was a counselor. They brought me so much joy. Many of their stories were like Javier’s, but most did not feel like they could share what they had been through. I am friends with many of them now as adults. They have survived. They have become citizens. One is a nurse, one is a pastor, one is an electrician, one owns his own siding and window company. I could go on. That’s joy!
Oh my friends, we need to be so thankful for what we have. Javier Zamota’s experience is not isolated. His book is not always joyful, but there are certainly joyful moments, and his survival (his word) story is full of joy. We need to love and encourage one another no matter where they come from or what there background is. Joy to you my friends. Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea. Joy to you and me.

Archie Castillo and Onie Zamora's "Sa aking pagbabalik"

Vancouver-based, she survived three cancers and continues to sing and write music, largely to support the Marian Missionaries of the Holy Cross-YMC, a Filipino Religious Congregation for priests and brothers founded in 1976 by Joey's mom, Mrs. Leticia Tordesillas Albert ( https://marian-missionaries.com/aboutus.html / https://www.facebook.com/mmhcymcofficial )
2024 marks her 43rd year as a musical artist. After listening to her latest single, Kundimang Kupas (By Robert More, composer, and lyricist of her 1980s hit, "A Million Miles Away"), I am convinced there are greater reasons why Joey Albert overcame her illnesses. Her meaning and purpose through music have empowered her to live.
