Anyway I think Waiting On A Miracle really works for him in this au because he’s basically useless in the fact that he has no special abilities like any other dragons in the series. All he has is himself and brute strength, which he does end up making the best of it near the end, but it gives him a bit of a dopamine decline as he slowly ticks down the list of abilities until all the options have been crossed out and the reality of the situation hits him like a freight train.
