Emira was still making friends and that was intimidating at times so she was relieved when she saw Zehra had moved here too. Once they were seated at their table, Emira turned to her with a grin. A Storm Captain during the wars with the primals and Garlemald and during the Final Days crisis, Zhera is now retired from the military and adjusting to civilian life again after nearly a decade and a half of service. She keeps busy pushing the boundaries of arcanima research when she's not studying Alchemy in Radz-at-Han or on a botanical retrieval expedition as a freelance gleaner (specializing in flora). Her thesis on the relationship between Allagan Summoning and Ancient Creation Magic and how one might theoretically use the former to replicate the latter has recently earned her the coveted title of Sharlayan Archon. Busy as she is, she always makes time for her friends and lovers.

Bio: A young child who lost her parents, Zhera was found by a couple of Harengons and taken back to grow up in the Feywild. Due to this it wasn't until she arrived in Emerald Grove that Zhera could even recall seeing another Tiefling before.

Her magic at the beginning of the adventure is fairly rudimentary. Due to her magics wild nature her parents had discouraged its use. Gale takes it upon himself to become a mentor like figure to her. Assuming he will die on this journey it only seems right to pass on his knowledge. Luckily Zhera is a quick learner, even if her magic is a little untamed at times. She's also stubborn and swears on her life that she will see all her companions through the end of this.

Due to her upbringing out side of tiefling society there's a lot of social mannerisms Zhera doesn't have the hang of. Unknown to her, upon meeting Rolan her tail takes on a mind of it's own. Astarion, noticing the change in posture makes a mental note.

Later in their adventure he notices the change again when Zhera is talking to Rolan(who's clueless to all of this) at the teiflings celebration. Taking it upon himself to ask Karlach about it she immediately goes to Zhera's aid. After the party Karlach begins teaching her tail etiquette.

When they run into Rolan again in the Shadowlands, Zhera is upset to see him drunker than a dog and his siblings missing. When he lashes out at her offer of help she shrinks away, and Karlach gives him a good ear thrashing.

Despite the altercation at Last Light Inn, Zhera is quick to jump to his defense outside of moonrise. After saving him from the shadow curse she offers that Rolan join the group on the quest to free his siblings. This is how Rolan becomes a temporary companion and aids in the lifting of the shadow curse.

Once the curse is lifted Rolan leaves for Baldurs Gate and his apprenticeship with Lorroakan. While nothing has been said, romantic feelings have blossomed between the two teiflings and Zhera promises to visit him once they make it to the city.

When the group arrives at Sorcerer's Sundries Zhera is filled with anger to see the state Rolan has been put in. When things progress with Lorroakan, she takes pleasure in bringing his downfall and helping Aylin in his demise.

With Rolan taking over at the new master of Ramazith's tower, Zhera promises again that she'll come back to him once the Elder Brain is defeated.
