I’be caught up in Zombies, Run! (after lo these many years) and I just have to say—
I was half-expecting to come into Season 10 and find out that Five has been turned into some sort of sad agonized cyborg by Valmont, but now it seems like Five is some sort of missing, lost hero.
Either way. With the greatest possible admiration for the ZR writing crew—I WOULD LIKE  TO GO BACK TO PLAYING AS FIVE AGAIN, PLEASE.
XD I get that this is a prequel, but it makes me VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to run in other characters’ skins.

A little late but I bit the bullet and downloaded The Walk. I’m also going to be listening it on Spotify as well because why not might as well have two options right? (Plus I might delete the app and download ZR 5K instead at some point so it’s good to know I can continue the story there)
Anyway, I’m not sure how contradictory this is as I’ve only just finished episode one on the app, but I’ve got a headcanon that it’s a prequel to Zombies, Run! and my Walker (more on her at a later date) is still alive during the apocalypse and a relative to my Runner 5.

Game Review: Bayonetta Origins
Bayonetta Origins is a prequel to the original trilogy, and unlike many prequels this was an amazing game that stands out on it's own and expands on the lore with a great story that has a darker tone than the trilogy.  Starting with the story I'll keep it short and simple to avoid spoilers. Basically Babynetta goes on a journey through a fairy infested forest with a demon to gain the power to see her mother Rosa again. The story is mostly told through a narrator reading a story book, and unlike The Cruel King and the Great Hero the narrator speaks English. Let me tell you, having a narrator that speaks your language makes the story so much more engaging and worth listening to. All the characters in this story are excellent, and the journals lore that tell the sad fate of this forest and those that wandered in and lost their lives is great. Overall is a great story that isn't afraid to break your heart. The Graphics are absolutely beautiful. Looking right out of a story book with a colorful world to explore. definitely one of the better looking games on the switch. Gameplay is pretty great to. This game is a puzzle action platformer that involves you controlling two characters at once. on the left side of the controller you control Babynetta. She can't fight directly, but she can use her magic circle to restrain enemies and open them up to attacks. she also uses the circle to activate mainly inferno plants and doors playing a micro rhythm game. She can summon back the demon almost anytime pressing L and throw him up certain ledges using L as well. She can also use 1 of 4 potions using the D pad. On the right of the controller is the demon (I'm leaving his name out to avoid spoilers). ZR is used for smacking foes around and R is used for activating his special which depends on his form. The four buttons are used for changing his form that relies on a magic meter to maintain and power combo attacks. The combat is a sort of puzzle as you use these two and their abilities to defeat their enemies. there's also these pocket dimension that throw all sorts of challenges at you to put your skills using them to the test. The world is littered with plenty of collectables such as ingredients, rose petals, and candies to upgrade the pair's abilities at certain save points. this game's one issue is the map, it's bad. It doesn't make things clear enough and can lead you think there are paths that aren't there. Now that's only a problem if you try exploring for collectable of the beaten path of wolf tracks that lead you through the story. Overall, despite the bad map I had a great time playing this game. In the end this is a great side game for Bayonetta fans and puzzle game fans even if they didn't play the trilogy. I give it a 8.5 out of 10, a Great game

BEYOND A STEEL SKY SWITCH RELEASE DATE SOFTWARE
BEYOND A STEEL SKY SWITCH RELEASE DATE FREE
If you can distract them with someone else, you’d be able to check out the body without issues. While taking a closer look is a must, a pack of Gang-Gang birds is preparing to feast on the body. While following the tracks of the machine that took Milo – that would be the kid who was kidnapped at the start of the game, you end up finding a corpse. What type of puzzles will you have to solve? Since I don’t want to spoil this experience for you, allow me to discuss the first two puzzles in the game. The game pays homage to its classic point and click roots, offering puzzles that will test your abilities as you try to find the right way to solve each scenario. Hack it, and you can change its functions so that it can dispense an unlimited amount of soda cans instead of the one can maximum it was programmed for!
BEYOND A STEEL SKY SWITCH RELEASE DATE FREE
This can be tested on the vending machine that gives you a free soda can. You’ll move around dark blocks to change how devices perform. This will make it possible to control some of them to change how they work. Once you gain access to a special tool early in the game – and have it improved by a resourceful character – the R button can be used to hack into devices. After interacting with something or someone, you can examine, use an item from your inventory, or try to strike up a conversation with other characters. If you want to speed things up, you can run by pressing and holding down the ZR button. The right analog stick will be used to look around Foster as needed. You’ll walk with the left analog stick, interacting with points of interest, objects, or other characters with the A button. Thanks to the game’s 3D presentation, the point and click formula is of the move “walk and interact” variety, offering you direct control of Robert as you explore each location. But perhaps there’s more going on? After all, there is one child missing, and that would not happen in a utopia, right? Upon returning to Union Sky, Robert Foster finds a very interesting location to explore, where it seems that all needs of every citizen are aptly taken care of by the ruling AI. Union City is a special location, in that – spoiler alert – during the events of Beneath a Steel Sky, the city was entrusted to an AI – his robotic friend Joey – to oversee and do everything needed to give its population the best life possible. The game takes place ten years after the events from Beneath a Steel Sky, and it has you once again taking on the role of Robert Foster, who arrives at Union City to take on the case of a missing child. Since it’s been a while since we got the point and click adventure game prequel, this sequel now gives us a 3D presentation with a graphic novel cel-shaded look to it that at times reminded me of how The Walking Dead: The Final Season looks. It’s been almost 40 years since the release of Beneath a Steel Sky from Revolution Software, a cyberpunk experience set in a dystopian future from game director Charles Cecil, who you might also know as the creator of the long-running Broken Sword series, and legendary comic book artist Dave Gibbons, who you must know from his work in 2000 AD, Doctor Who, and Watchmen.Ĭharles Cecil and Dave Gibbons are now back for Beyond a Steel Sky.

Cardfight Vanguard G: Z turn 18 thoughts

Dawn of the Decisive Battle
By this title, it seems that Z is approaching the climax. Considering that it will end in April, it might have around 7 episodes left (without this one), so guess it’s a good choice to start already with the final battle. This is more like a prequel to it, though.
Tumblr media
The North America Branch lives up to its name if it really can hold up the materialized ZRs. As long as the system keeps working. Hmm, interesting mention there.
I liked when the explosions went off and Kai is so calm about it. Guess everyone was expecting a flashy attack, so at this point nothing can startle them xD And it’s Darkface we’re talking about.
Tumblr media
For once the good guys use this strategy. Normally the heroes enter the enemy’s base and they have to deal with all sorts of traps. It’s kind of refreshing to see it the other way around. Though, Chaos Breaker seems to enjoy himself.
Tumblr media
This might seems kind of messed up, but Darkface is way too hilarious running around and throwing dynamites like that xD He even says “dokan”, which is an onomatopoeia for explosions xD
And when he found the computer and “injected” the virus xD I liked how he suddenly shifted from the angry voice.
Tumblr media
Chaos Breaker is so chill. He doesn’t even bother to run. Just walks away when Aichi caught up with him. And then he is patiently waiting for Aichi and Kai to “corner” him. It’s almost like he was looking for the best spot to have a chat with them.
Good thing Aichi has figured out what’s up.
Tumblr media
Pfff xD Darkface’s explosive entrance was funny, but Kamui kneeing him was even better xD
And when about to get trapped, he kicks out Kamui and grabs Misaki. He has to idea whom he’s messing with xD
Tumblr media
We also find out why Kazumi was sent there. I must say, I didn’t think about that. Actually, I didn’t think Gyze will tag along to retrieve the ZRs. But they saw it coming, so Kazumi specifically went there in order to take him on. Which I’m glad they did.
Now, surely he won’t win this. The summaries for the upcoming episodes kind of confirm this as well. But if he really manages to bring out Kazuma’s conscience, then I’m satisfied. Also, let him use Drachma.
Tumblr media
I was wondering why out of all people, Arata, Makoto and Misaki were handling the PC. Turns out that Chris taught the boys a few stuff. And, guess I shouldn’t be surprised about Misaki. She’s one of the smartest people around. That’s why Darkface grabbed her.
Also, this anime read my mind xD Because, when I watched the episode this morning:
Kamui: Is there anything I can do?!
Me: ... How about calling Chris?
Kamui: I know! I’ll call Chris!
Me: O_O
I love it when I think of something and then a character says it xD
Tumblr media
So, Chaos Breaker summons a subspace of Relics. Guess we’ll find out later on what’s the deal with that.
And it will be a 2 vs 1 fight. Like how it was in the neon Messiah movie with Aichi and Kai vs Ibuki. You know, Arata and Makoto should have been there in this case. I know Kai mentioned earlier in this episode that they are not strong enough and that playing the support role is just as important. But he is the one who trained them. Indeed, Arata lost to Gredora, but now it was a good opportunity to show that he had learned something from that. There’s  also the thing with Makoto. He was shown to be the most negative of the two. His loss early on against Arata, plus his opponent changing from Chaos Breaker to Arata when destroying Relics hinted that he might have an inferiority complex. This could have been a good opportunity to dive into that and make him overcome it. I’m sure Chaos Breaker would have noticed it and make the most use of this aspect. I don’t know...It seems more like a missed opportunity.
On the other hand, Chaos Breaker mentioning their history give me some hope about the fight. Mainly because of Link Joker-hen references and establishing some connections between that and what’s happening now.
Tumblr media
Well well, at least Darkface admits that he is an oddball. And he was so touched that Gredora accepted him like that. Ok, but she is his mother. It’s natural that she would do that. Gredora does have her sadistic side, but she showed that her children are important to her. And not just as powerful soldiers. Interesting that he also imagines her in Gaily’s body. Now I’d like to see how her and Wakamizu would interact with each other.
Tumblr media
We also get some insight on Misaki’s motivation. Which is a nice simple reason. Hmm, with all the talk about the new generation, I started to think that showing Misaki with her younger self doesn’t really convey that. It might have been better if they put Tokoha there, for example, since Misaki was like a mentor to her during GIRS Crisis.
Tumblr media
I loved this part. Darkface was so convinced that he trapped her into a corner, but when she discarded the card as cost for the PG, not so much xD
This fight had a bit of a throwback to the early Genesis. I kind of like the new Minerva and the G guard.
Tumblr media
Ok, so Chris got rid of the virus. And it seems he holds no grudge against Wakamizu. Well, it wasn’t technically him who blew up his research facility, so yeah.
Handa’s movements are really strange though...
First Dumjid, then Valeos (kind of) and now Darkface curses everyone before returning to Cray...It might be just because they are sore losers and not have any effect whatsoever, but what if this will actually end up hindering the heroes in some way.
Tumblr media
The post-ending scene reveals that there’s a disturbance similar to the one summoned by Chaos Breaker near Earth. We know that’s related to Relics, which is quite worrying, considering that they still have something in store for it.
Guess it will be explained in the next episode. Also, Aichi and Kai vs Chaos breaker should be exciting. Just because of the Link Joker references.
We’ll also get to see a bit of Kazumi vs Gyze. I just realized...even if Gyze takes Drachma and Megiddo, Zoa was just secured by Misaki and Stark might be taken away as well. So, the ZRs still won’t be gathered. Will he go and defeat everyone in the building?
