Chicken Eggs?
So, we’re eating chicken tonight, and all of a sudden my brain comes up with this amazing question... ‘’how many eggs can a rooster fertilize? Like what’s the daily semen to egg to meat chicken ratio..?’’ So to google I went, and apparently, according to science... A rooster produces (on average) about 10 million sperms a day, and about 30 are needed to fertilize an egg (with a 95% success rate). So, on average a rooster can fertilize about 3.333.333 eggs a day.
Glad I got that figured out, now I can eat my chicken in peace.
