When Scarlett Johansson joined the Marvel universe all the way back in 2010, she did not have the ability that current actresses in the franchise have now and that is the ability to be seen as a valuable member of the team as opposed to an accessory.

My girl was being sexualised at every single interview, being asked if she wore underwear under her black widow suit and even being groped by interviewers. Natasha’s background was only slightly explored and her fighting style consisted of wrapping her legs around men’s heads in order to further appeal the male audience.

Yelena has the story arc she has and the ability to grow as a character because Scarlett fought for her to when she was producing the Black Widow movie. It makes me so upset that she knew she would never get the superhero experience that the men around her had, so she put aside her own spotlight in order to give Florence the standing that she couldn’t have.

I will not accept Natasha slander because Scarlett put everything she had into that character for a decade and had to go through so much just to be a part of that franchise.

Just a heads up.

“It’s a different universe” is not a valid reason to erase Yelena’s sexuality when discussing the MCU.

You would never stand for a lesbian or a gay character being made straight because “it’s a different universe”, so you don’t get to say it’s fine for an aroace character. (

It really feels like you don’t care about Yelena, you just care about your ship. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Since the only thing I can think about is the Fantastic Four here are my thoughts on a possible post credit scene or something I would like to see (I'm already thinking about the post credit scenes y'all don't wanna know for how long I've been thinking about everything related to this movie lol)

First of all I need H.E.R.B.I.E to survive like look at how cute he looks assembling the crib, I need him to be in that ship we saw at Thunderbolts otherwise I'll riot.

Second of all I'm not sure if I want the New Avengers to talk to the Fantastic Four in my imaginary post credit scene. At first I wanted them to get to the tower mostly because I love Joseph and I want to see him next to Florence like asap but since Marvel already said Sam will build his Avengers team off screen this could be an opportunity for the audience to meet that team before Doomsday and I would to see which team earns their trust first like that could set up and interesting dynamic for the next Avengers film.

More thunderbolts head-cannons

Bob doesn't like needles because they remind him of his past

Walker bonded with Bob by training, as Bob liked the challenge of fighting him without power. Walker is happy to have a fighting partner again

Alexei and Ava love boy bands

Walker is terrified of bugs and will scream if he sees one

Ava loves people watching

The team has shared playlists

The team is banned from many places, such as but not limited to: Dave and Busters, Chuck E Cheese, any place with racecars, multiple bars, especially if they have trivia nights, and most family buffet restaurants

Bob is online friends with Steven Grant, who first met by recommending books to each other

Bucky has a specific way of making his coffee

Yelena has a special way, too, but by the time she's done with hers, it barely counts as coffee with how much sugar and creamer she puts

The fridge is always full as everyone there has a fast metabolism and they ALL get hangry of they do not get there food

John can't spell for sht while Ava and Alexei hand writing is horrible

John has every Captain America merch ( including ones of Sam's) and when asked about it he'll say it for his kid

The team jokily have Alexei and Bucky one of those old people emergency phones for Father's Day

Yelena loves kids' cartoons, especially Steven universe

The tower is never silent and will usually have soft music playing in the background cause silence scares the team

Yelena loves Crocs and have mave multiple jibitz, including each one of the team

The public calls Bob "thunderbolt's puppy" which Bob hates but the rest of the team find this hilarious

Sometimes Bob would just go to mission just to feel apart of team

Bob does not have a driver license or even a permit

Walker loves camping and would try to make the whole team go with him.

The thunderbolts have every social page (thanks to Alexei) and I mean every social page, no matter how niche they are. (Ava runs the tumblr account)

Valentina tried getting the team a PR team but every one of them quit.

John had to make multiple apology videos (I imagine it being like Logan Pauls)

The tower has a wall of love ones of every team member as way of remembering what they are fighting for (there is a photo of the team, Sam Wilson, Ava's dad, Natasha, Steve Rogers, Lamar and more)

Bucky also had to publicly apologize for killing JFK and insisted that he did NOT kill Princess Diana.

John Walker's parents were really strict, which is why he always follow orders.

Thinking about how when I was 13-15 I would worry so much because the thought of introducing my boyfriend (when I eventually had one) to my family stressed me out so much cause that would be so awkward and a situation I would avoid for as long as possible.

Turns out it was the having a boyfriend part that was causing the angst, I don't think ever had the interest of you know living the "teen love" thing everybody talks about.

Following multifandom accounts is so confusing because the 911 fandom (who have made it to my tl both here and Twitter) talk about Eddie and I'm Eddie Munson?? or they talk about Buck and I'm Buck..y Barnes???

I usually read more than half a post or entire tweets before realizing they are not talking about the characters I know lol

Since I've seen people agree John is the cook of the New Avengers my contribution here is that he learns their favorite foods, but he tells no one cause he know they would tease him for paying that much attention (and even if he wasn't paying attention with the time they spend together he would catch on anyways).

For breakfast he makes sure he has Alexei's cereal in hand because no matter what he cooks he knows he'll reach for the box of cereal.

Before missions he makes mac & cheese cause he knows Yelena will go straight to the fridge once they're back at the tower, that way she just microwaves it.

Bob really likes brownies so he tries to make them for movie night every week, of course everyone grabas one at least but he notices how Bob is always the first one to do so.

If he doesn't want to cook or agree on take out he know their orders but with Bucky in particular he also remembers his favorite restaurant and has the menu or app ready to order from that place.

Ava likes to have smoothies or milkshakes after training so he makes sure the groceries list has her favorite ice cream and fruits so she can walk in the kitchen and make her drink.
