It really is! I keep misspelling all these names, and that's saying something because one of my childhood besties from across the street was named Brynlee. I always thought that was a little extra, but somehow these parents managed to surpass that... And for the record, the straight ones the weird ones as far as I'm concerned, not us. Calling it babysitting when it's your own child is not okay, and neither is this two-faced behaviour. You know I love reality TV, but it's slightly disturbing when people around you behave like that in real life. Well, it's drama camp — it's impossible to be boring. I hope I didn't write too much, though! And yes, it absolutely is. She drew me as Prince Eric with a red-haired merman and all of the kids as colourful fish, and it's adorable.

Well, worst-case scenario, we'll just cover you from head to toe in foundation to hide your terrible sunburn. But we're not going to let it get that far, and you're going to look as flawless as ever. And if you ask me, you being brave enough to face all of this stress of the fashion world is just an extra reason for us to bring out the good wine and cheese.

Can I just say, the weird spelling with extra letters for their kids just seems like extra work for no reason besides to look creative? But it's the most lazy and boring way to be creative, I swear. Brynleigh? What is that?! I'm adding to the judgement pool on that alone. I also don't understand why anyone would congratulate a dad for 'babysitting' when he's supposed to be the dad. The straights aren't okay, and it shows, and the more I hear about how ridiculous they are the more uncomfortable I get being around them. Is that weird? That's probably weird. But they're also weird for the two-faced drama they create for themselves because they have nothing going on and it shows. At least, out of everything that goes on at your job, it isn't boring! That would be the logical side of any argument! But in the fashion world? Logic doesn't always connect. It's about reputation in more than just what you make for yourself in talent. It's about making everyone else look good, especially your bosses. And if you don't look the part that represents your boss, then everything can go south and it's a total mess. High stress. And yet I love it. Can't get enough.

I would never put an umbrella on a hat! Absolutely not! I was thinking, it could be similar to sunglasses? When you step outside, they darken from the UV rays, keep you shaded. But once inside, they lighten again. Maybe they could also change colors!? Oh my god! I can picture it now! This is going to be huge! It sounds like a good idea, right? This isn't just me getting over enthused about something that's actually silly?

I can't say I've ever considered it, to be honest. I've always considered teaching to be my backup plan. But I do love the idea of being in a cosy place surrounded by books all day, or even better — a little book shop where you can buy homemade baked goods as well. And you'd get to taste-test everything, of course.

You have told me. Multiple times. But here's a secret — I love you telling me multiple times. Never gets old. And I love you too. Very, very much.

Honestly, if I had to peg you going into anything else that wasn't performance related, it would've been a book keeper, or a librarian. Or even, one of those bakery shops on the corner. Something warm, cozy, and does not give into the modern day aesthetic of minimal is better.

It's well-deserved. NYADA's like that too — a lot, but in the best way. Legally Blonde? Yes, absolutely! It's iconic and I love the soundtrack. Kurt even has the vinyl hanging on his vinyl wall. When's opening night? Because I'd love to be there, and I'm sure Kurt would too. And great, I'm looking forward to it! Things are pretty good over here, apart from the intense heat wave we've got going on here. I'm helping out at a drama camp for kids this summer and I'm taking songwriting classes at NYADA, which is all pretty exciting.

Oh my God, Kurt, that is so exciting! Your first business trip, and you're going to Paris, of all places! Do you know what shows you'll be attending yet? I would love to join you, actually, even if we don't get to spend all of our time together. Just an hour with you in Paris would be a dream come true. I don't want to be a burden, though, so are you absolutely sure it's okay if I tag along?

I think I'll be fine. If anything, I believe it'll calm me down enough. Give me enough time to prep. Plus, it also gives us both enough time to take the time off.

Speaking of surprises! Isabelle has officially asked me to accompany her on a business trip to Paris for ten days in August. Will you be able to a) survive that long or b) would you like to come with? I didn't want to assume you could just drop everything, and I won't ask you to. I know I'll be running around and attending shows, so we wouldn't be with each other the entire time, but I'd rather extend the invitation and you to think about it and decide you can't make it rather than demand you come just to spend a lot of the trip by yourself.

I know! I do think that the only thing I'm going to put on my this time is salt, though. I had a giant cupcake today at camp that one of the moms made for us. But hey, go for that butter! Enjoy it! That's so exciting though! I absolutely think that works in your favour. That Treasure Trailz ad was everywhere and it's pretty unforgettable, not to mention that you genuinely have a gift for modeling. Hey, please ramble away. That's what friends are for, and I love listening to your rambling. I'm sure she knows you're not like that, though, Sam. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that they made you think of me, but I can definitely imagine how hard it must be not to buy baked goods all the time when you wake up to the smell of them every morning. I sure hope that he'll pay attention to you, but you just never know with him. Oh God, please don't give him any ideas, though... It can! I went to drama camp quite a few times as a kid, but we slept in cabins. This one in New York is a day camp, so the kids just get dropped off by their parents in the morning. And that's actually not that far off of what we do! It's mostly just playing theatre games with the younger ones, and I can't help but burst into song with them every now and then, of course, but the older kids are rehearsing for Moana Jr. Ooh, yes, I've heard of that one! Let's watch it together! Sam, you are a genius. That is such a good idea! Everyone loves a good Christmas song or love song. Trust me, the smell of the city is unbearable right now. I actually told Kurt the other day that I'm tempted to bring a scented candle with me on the subway so I can sniff it to mask the smell for just a second.

What you putting on your popcorn? I know I gotta chill on the butter but damn. It's way too good! I'll pick up the meal prep and strict diet on Monday. There's a chance Kurt will work his Vogue magic and get me in to talking to someone. It hasn't been THAT long since I was in front of a camera. Think that works in my favor? That's my thinking. Or what I tell my brain to think when it tries to talk me into asking her out again. The last thing I want is her to think I'm this clingy lovesick guy who can't take no for an answer. Which is not the case! Respect is huge to me and I don't want her to think I'm not honoring that. Okay, I'll stop my ramble. Really really!! I thought of you when I scoped the place after the big move in. It'll be tough to limit my carb intake, especially in the mornings when I wake up smelling all the fresh baked everything! I can't see why they won't let me join in. It'll give mom and dad a break and actually enjoy the park.

Since he's doing research on the midwest he might pay actual attention to me. I might not know what to do if he acts like Egon inspecting someone to make sure they're not a ghost. Does drama camp have actual camping? I picture it as non stop plays or rehearsals! There's a theater camp movie due out next month. We should watch it! The food album can have songs for the holidays! You've gotta have a Thanksgiving and Christmas one! Valentines can have a romantic tone but it's about chocolate-covered strawberries or adding chocolate and whipped cream onto yourself for your sweetheart. Huzzah for the A/C! Any plans for pets in the future?

Not in the near future (apart from a tamagotchi maybe), but hopefully someday! I love cats and dogs, as I mentioned before, and I'd love to adopt one (or maybe even both!) one day. But the timing has to be right, and right now I just don't think we've got enough time or space. And we'd both have to be 100% sure about it, of course.
