Chapter One

Unwanted Visiter

Ugh, I-I hope he likes this...Aphrodi said trying not to gag as he dissected some rats he collected the day before in a jar, the man said in a deep voice that was surprisingly gruff due to constant alcohol intake.

D-Damn it anything for my "honey" my ass, i-i can't bleck..he groaned as he began slicing the rat's stomachs open from top to bottom.

N-now j-just for the hard part- he said shakily before plunging a carving knife into its skull and hurridly peeling off the skin and removing every part of the animal.

F-Finally the last one of 50..he said weary sighing and removing his gloves before he took a seat on his spinny office chair that was already half broken. I've dissected the skin, skulls, AND organs...hope this satiates him..he said shivering as he glanced at the mess. Time to get onto cleaning duty then ey? He said forcing a tired smile before he tied his fluffy messy hair into a manbun and pulled back on his gloves. Disgusting..he said as his hands lingered on the pile of rat's blood, horrid truly...he mumbled quietly as he suddenly heard a squeak. Is there a rat I haven't killed yet? He said to himself quietly but this time something was off. His whole life flashed before his eyes, he broke into a cold sweat and he bared his sharp teeth in the way a wolf would with prey.

The simple sound of something helpless and alone was enough to make him snap out of his little sanity. Before he knew it he swiftly snatched the rodent and stared down at it gripping it tightly in his hand. He looked down at the small creature baring his fangs to it as his nail dug into its flesh as it helplessly squeaked and tried to escape. Despite how cruel he was acting he couldn't help but see a small part of himself in the rat that was dumb enough to think that he could escape his grasp.

The way it squirmed, bit, struggled the way it tried to fight it before eventually giving up and just looking up at Aphrodi with a helpless look. I-I'm sorry- he mumbled before his instincts took over and his grip tightened about to pop it.

THWACK, suddenly Killium injected the rat with a syringe filled with a large dose of euthanasia.

And THAT'S how you kill a rat!! Ya dont fuckin squeeze it like a stress toy unlike you, ya weirdo..he said side-eyeing Aphrodi, AHEM AHEM APHRODI, COUGH APHRODI IS A WEIRDO COUGH WHO TRIED TO he said trying to make it seem not obvious by trying to cover over it with coughing. But it just led to him sounding drunk because since he was a demon with no real vocal cords he sorta just SAID the words cough?? The demon exlcaimed in a fake show timey tv host type voice that crackled with insincerity.

You sound stupid you know? Aphrodi said chuckling at the demon's sad attempt at shade.

Well so are YOU, actually opposites attract each other so THAT must be why your sorry ass is soooo into me...darlinn' he cooed flicking his nose.

Tch, damn it quit it Killium...Aphrodi said shooing him away as Killium floated around him.

HAH you were right for once!! I mean it's good to know you remembered last night's toots!! Killium said snicking and elbowing Aphrodi.

i-i w-what does that even m- he sputtered before pausing and realizing, D-DAMN IT YOU STUPID PERVERT!! He shouted picking up a broom and smacking him with it.

AGVSKSKS I AM GOING TO CHOKE YOU OUT!! he screamed both from embarrassment and frustration. He swiftly jumped over the table and lunged at Killium knocking over most of the viles and papers on his desk. THIS is what I get for letting you top for once you perv!! He said panting and growling at him, D-DAMN IT. FUCK. YOU. KILLIUM!! He said about to punch him before Killium swiftly pushed Aphrodi under him pinning him to the floor.

Awhh ain't this better darlin' you look so cute under me and even "bottom" you could say ey Alphyy?

D-damn it Killz I swear on my mother's grave you're going to be the death of me if it's the last thing you do. Im a fucking 45-year-old man, with no kids, no wife, no friends, and IM the one thing you seem to lovee to piss off and cling to ey? he said with a forced grin as he gripped onto Killium's wrists and a small dosage of blood pouring from near his jaw due to the glass that fell earlier cutting him.

M-maybe, or maybe I just loveee watching a trainwreck like you crash and burn? Killium said with a chuckle as he tightened his grip on Aphrodi.

And you're the fucking train conductor controlling it Aphrodi said panting slightly from exhaustion but still able to keep up his confident demeanor. You know, you're not so perfect yourself "toots". At the moment Aphrodi decided to call him that because Killium typically used it in a mocking sense, something that was mostly used in a playful sincere, or even flirty way but when the words came out of Killium's mouth it all turned rotten, so maybe this was his turn to give him a mere scratch as payback for all his bites and wounds.

Tch, you dont know JACK shit about me Aphrodite he said scoffing as his claws gripped onto his shoulders tighter.

I've spent almost a decade around you, and I know more about you whether you like it or not...and here is something I know, I know you're a washed-up, run-of-the-mill, overrated, stupid, condescending, TOTAL DUTCHEBAG!! He said sharply to Killium as he glared at him.

Tch, you've got a realll pretty mouth ey? What a shame it would be if I did something to shut it up..he said quietly to himself with a neutral expression.

Oh no, this was bad news, the last demon Killium said that to was thrown into the mines with their mouth sewn shut with their own hair as threading. But Aphrodi was a brave man who actively did things that would be considered blasphemous or stupidly dangerous or both as per usual. You didn't need to know Killium well to know he wasn't one to not be weary of. The first time he managed to get a taste for this was exactly 10 years ago. That day he woke up at 3 am, his throat felt dry and his whole body ached feeling feverish. The whole night he had tried to sleep and after hours of trying he finally did before being awakened by the sound of floorboards creaking. Figuring it was his cat Aphrodi rolled over and squinted peering into the darkness. He heard a scurrying sound and reached out to turn on his night lamp. As he did so he saw Killium looming over him holding what seemed to be a microchip and an injection. Killium's left hand was close to his neck just inches away from injecting him with the clear substance. Aphrodi's eyes shot open and he sat up gripping his chest as his heart beat out of his chest. When he questioned what the fuck he was doing Killium only tilted his head to the side and said something he couldn't quite hear. But to this day he remembers him saying "Good things are lost too fast, and you are too fast so I must ensure you can't run"

I-I p-please im so- he said shaking slightly as he tried to back away but was unable to. Before he even knew it he felt like that rat he gripped onto earlier, they were similar, but at least that time Killium the demon ironically had saved him, who would save him now? As he said earlier he had no one, maybe this time he would die alone, all because he was too much of a stubborn bastard to need anyone, died from being alone and died alone. Aphrodi's face burned, his body trembled, and he tried to beg for help to scream to shout but the words died in his throat, and all that came out was a breathless "p-please".

Now like said earlier, it's about time I shut you up..he said giggling before leaning closer. i-i n-no please- he whimpered looking up at him with tear-filled eyes.

Okay, RUDE im not THAT bad a kisser!! He said rolling his eyes.

W-WAHT?! HELL NO!! Aphrodi immediately sighed and loosened up but was still a little weary.

I could never kill you, because I would never give you the mercy of death when you're in MY domain, toots he said his face inches away from Aphrodi before kissing him softly and pulling away before wrapping his large bright blue tongue around his neck slightly choking him before he finally pulled away.

Always remember this hun, you're in MY fucking domain he said with a grin as he gripped Aphrodi's jaw tightly before using his powers, and with a gust of blue fire, he was gone like that.

Fuck is wrong with him he said shaking his head as he shakily stood up and regain his balance with the desk of his desk. And fuck is wrong with me for this bone-

My name is Tamo, and I'm a young author. At the moment I'm writing a dark romance novel named "breaking the rules". It's a book centered around our two main characters Aphrodi and Killium (yes ik very original names). It's heavily inspired of BillFord and I've put a lot of effort into it. If I had to put it into tropes it's a sort of enemies to lovers thing. I'll probably get to posting the chapters soon. However rn i'm out.
