AoS Celebration Week - Day 4
Favourite funny moment - The montage in 3x15 “Spacetime”
Soooo many funny moments in this series (and I love that season four brought back the season one humour!) but the one that instantly stuck out in my mind was the fight training montage in Spacetime where May trains to beat Daisy’s vision.
It’s not meant to be overtly funny and that’s what makes it so hilarious, with lines like “bang”, Jemma and her theatrics and Fitz not ‘dying’ properly - hysterical! It looks like the cast had an absolute ball filming it too :D

AoS Celebration Week - Day 3
Favourite relationship - Fitzsimmons
Before I start gushing (and I’ll attempt to keep it to a minimum!) I’d actually like to say that I love all of the relationships on the show, particularly the strong platonic bonds between each team member. Honourable mention to Mama May and her ducklings :)
I’m actually not even sure where to begin with what it is about Fitz and Simmons, so I’ll go with the moniker Fitzsimmons itself. Aside from being a bloody cool ship name it absolutely embodies what’s best about these two - they’re stronger when they’re together.
Although the show loves to crush us when it comes to these two each time they have come out the other side better, stronger. Both of them have been to hell and back (literally if Maveth counts as hell), though despite their hardships they always pull together and save the day. I love that they’re both so strong and that the team counts on them too, and their courage and willpower is just so damn inspiring.
Then there’s also the things like their smarts, the sense of optimism and hope when there is none, finding solutions where there are none, wanting to do right by people, the fierce loyalty to their friends as well as each other, man I could drone on and on and on!
So to keep myself from rambling, my final note is that I love that they were strong friends first and their relationship evolved. I love that the show let it unfold, as much as they crushed our hearts each time they put them back together and it was so incredibly rewarding. And now I can’t wait to see what happens in season five and where to next!

AoS Celebration Week - Day 2
Favourite episode - T.R.A.C.K.S.
I could pick so many episodes as a favourite but T.R.A.C.K.S  always sticks out in my mind. The editing is so clever as the characters (and the audience to begin with) are largely kept in the dark as it all unfolds from multiple viewpoints.
Then there’s the way the stakes are increasing for the characters as they feel like they get closer to the Centipede serum and build some solid leads, which leads to the horrific discovery that Skye has been shot and is dying. Which of course then kicks off the roller coaster ride to the end of the season!
Plus it has the Stan Lee cameo! And Simmons terrible improvisation, which of course then becomes a running joke :)
Honourable mention for FZZT (indeed, these are the number plates on my car) and many, many others. We’re so incredibly lucky to get to watch this amazing show :D

AoS Celebration Week - Day 1
Favourite season - Season four
There are so many things to love about season four of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., especially as it built on everything that made the preceding seasons great and set the bar higher again.
In no particular order, here’s a few thoughts:
- The cast. Years of working together and knowing their characters inside out absolutely shows. The acting is superb and you can tell each and every cast member gives it their all. How they weren’t nominated for Emmy’s at least is astounding and though they were all brilliant I have to award Mallory Jansen the MVP award.
- The story line. I know in the FS fandom it caused some consternation but honestly I loved it. The arcs worked so well but it also felt like season one again where each episode mattered and built to something. Then there’s the Framework, which makes you ask so many questions of yourself and was so wonderfully done. I’m really curious to see where season five takes things and how it builds on where the characters were left at the end - thankfully only one more week to wait!
- The VFX. For a TV show with a limited time frame and budget the VFX are better than a lot of movies I’ve seen.
- Fitz’s clothing. Had to throw this one in here heheheh Honestly though they were all looking damn fine.
- The jokes. Season four comes right after season one for me and I loved that they brought back some more of the humour to balance out the dark moments.
It’s going to take something special for season five to top season four IMO and I’m so excited to see how they do it :D

Hello again from Agents of Hype!
As we said in our introduction post, we want to create a space to celebrate our favorite show and get excited for the new season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.
We’d like to officially announce our Agents of SHIELD Celebration Week! As we count down the days to the Season 5 premiere, this week will be dedicated to celebrating our favorite show and its characters! The event will take place from November 24 - November 30, leading us right into the premiere on Friday, December 1.
Your job is to create fanworks that showcase what you love about the show and the characters. Each day we will provide two separate prompts: one general prompt and one character. You can choose to use either, or even incorporate both if you’re feeling inspired!
Here is the official schedule with prompts for each day:
Day 1 (Nov 24)  - General Prompt: Favorite Season // Character: Phil Coulson  Day 2 (Nov 25)  - Favorite Episode // Melinda May Day 3 (Nov 26) - Favorite Relationship // Daisy Johnson Day 4 (Nov 27) - Favorite Funny Moment // Leo Fitz Day 5 (Nov 28) - Favorite VFX Moment // Jemma Simmons  Day 6 (Nov 29) - Favorite Team Moment // Alphonso Mackenzie  Day 7 (Nov 30) - Cast Appreciation // Elena Rodriguez
Whether you make a gifset, create a playlist, or write a ficlet, all types of fanworks are welcome.  If you’re unsure of what to create, simply make a text post telling us what you love most about the show! You can create works that fulfill either the general or character prompts (or both!), but do not feel limited to the prompts!
Please tag your works with #aos celebration in the first five tags so we can reblog them!
If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, feel free to send us an ask! We look forward to seeing what you create!

Just a quick post to say I’m still about, I kinda lurk from the shadows and keep a half eye on things. Honestly too though E v B died and there was still a fair amount of bitching about Season 4 that I had enough of so I’ve had a bit of a hiatus as well. Now we’re on the countdown to Season 5 (bring on December!) and I’ve already been spoiler hunting heheheh So looking forward to checking in a bit more again (although Assassin’s Creed Origins is out soon so I’ll be gone again lol) and hopefully the fandom picks up again too :)

Dear FitzSimmons shippers,
Take a deep breath, bc I love y’all, but some of you need to take a chill pill
With this news about Iain/Fitz being separated from the team at the beginning of S5 I’ve been hearing a string of b*tching, some with more reason and tolerance than others - and I get it, it’s frustrating. It’d be really nice to have them together, especially since the physical separation thing is getting a bit old. But seriously, leaving reasons for this aside, it’s getting frustrating from a fan pov. It’s getting to the point  - especially with what was going down last season - that it feels like nothing the writers do is satisfactory.
They’re separated? NO WHY DO THEY KEEP SEPARATING THEM UGH WE’RE OVER THIS DRAMA IT’S BAD JUST FIX IT
They’re together and sad? UGH WHY ARE THEY ONLY TOGETHER WHEN IT’S SAD/ANGSTY?! GIVE US HAPPY SCENES FOR ONCE
They’re together and happy? THEY DON’T GET ENOUGH SCREEN TIME. WHAT’S THE POINT OF THEM BEING TOGETHER FINALLY IF THEY DON’T GET ANY SCREEN TIME
They’re together and happy(ish) and they have screen time? UGH FITZ IS TAKING OVER THE NARRATIVE HOW COME WE NEVER SEE THEM APART HOW COME JEMMA’S STORYLINE IS ALWAYS ABOUT FITZ and hardly anyone mentions vice versa except to shit on fitz more but anyway
I know not every individual person holds all of these opinions - I get it, a fandom is made up of lots of people. But I have seen a tendency for people to jump on The Bitch Train no matter what the situation and it’s getting ridiculous. What do you want them to do? Because it’s starting to sound like you want AOS to be FitzSimmons: The TV Show and if that’s what you’re expecting…. maybe you should consider letting it go.
I understand that it’s frustrating when shows don’t highlight your faves enough, but if it’s getting to the point where you can’t shut up about how the show which is not just about your faves is not highlighting your faves enough… you’re no longer watching the same show. Take a step back and consider for yourself whether it’s still worth watching.
