My dnd group's planning to try out MASKS: A New Generation, and (like always) designing a new character has proven to be the best source of inspiration! Eridani (they/them) is an Outsider who's having a blast on Earth because it's way more fun than the situation on their homeworld

Monster design is one of my favorite things to draw. Piecing together weird, freaky bits to create something new and terrifying is so much fun!

This is one of my first, favorite-est monster concepts. A hateful spirit born from lynchings and hanging executions, bonded to the tree the victims died in, that stalks the woods looking for new victims to feed its wrath: The Hangman's Terror

The Perennial Nightmare

Born of the dark and the wild unknown, the Perennial Nightmare is an embodiment of the campers’ fears melded with the living forest. It was once a forest spirit, but some malicious machination twisted and corrupted its purpose. Now, it embodies the nightmares of mankind. 

The Perennial Nightmare is the main monster from the MotW game I'm currently running! It's stalking the edges of Camp Perenell, waiting to slaughter anyone who treads outside the camp's grounds. It's killed three NPCs and one PC, although the PC has the ability to come back so that doesn't count

In-progress map for the Monster of the Week mystery I'm running right now. Camp Perenell is a year-round camp that hosts many different events and activities, but it's currently under siege by some kind of plant monsters. Bad times all around

My Witchlight party just squared off against the remaining two hags in the depths of one's castle lair, and Nemea spent the first two rounds clinging to the underside of a balcony like some kind of cosmic murder cat-moth

@ziracona almost lost a PC to a selfish, team-killing asshole, which is just. The fastest way to ruin a session and also your reputation in a group. So here's my girl Nemea giving Aadhya a hug, because she deserves hugs

Nikki's my character for a one-off MotW game @ziracona is planning. She's a teen conspiracist who spends way too much on cryptozoology and urban legend forums, and also is an urban exploration hobbyist.

Nemea was voted Witchlight Monarch, which gives it three summons of the Monarch's Wings. Combined with Starry Form and Cloak of Stars, and adding in a Moon Sickle, she's able to turn into something really really cool.

Nemea's my pc for a Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign I'm part of! (She/They/It)'s a nyxborn circle of stars druid who grew up in the Astral Sea, which made them. A little weird.

She also discovered that the hag who stole its sense of direction is fated to die under a solar eclipse, which is just delightfully appropriate.

I haven't animated in any way, shape or form for at least three years, and I haven't done 2D animation in probably twice that. I haven't used Toon Boom Harmony even once in my life, so this was my first time exploring how it worked. I animated this entirely within the 21-day free trial, which I think is decent for learning/relearning how to animate after so long!

Local artist surprised to discover drawing Human Anatomy is much easier than drawing Human Anatomy But Wrong.

The mage origin is wild in hindsight. They condemn your friend to death on hearsay of blood magic, but no one bats an eye at you consuming corpses to heal yourself. smh at these double standards...
