Uh oh...
My application got disapproved for the following reasons:
Nakakahiya! Hahaha. Pero keri lang. I just followed the tutorial from Central Office, kaya I really don’t know saan ako nagkamali.
But now is not the right time to question things kaya I just worked on the corrections, following the notes sent to me.

So ayun nga, I resubmitted my application last night... And this morning, I checked the status of my application...
Thank you, DepEd! :)
After this, just head on to the bottom of the webpage, and you will find there at the lower right corner this “Download Your Certificate of Completion” link as shown in the screenshot below:
Served as one of the ICT staff in the 2-day online panel interviews for #IskolarniGob applicants 🙂
If hindi nyo naitatanong... Scholar din ako back in high school and college (hindi nga lang Iskolar ni Gob, 'no), and, somehow, listening to the applicants' responses brought me back to the time when I was also being interviewed by scholarship grantors sa school ko before.
These interview sessions I witnessed and became a part of featured heated discussions on pressing issues, societal concerns, personal beliefs and philosophy, and a whole lot more—just the same as what I had went through nung panahon ko.
Some applicants were hesitant to speak or initiate conversation. Sa criteria pa naman ay may naka-indicate na "social interaction". And quickly, I placed myself in the applicants' shoes. What if ganto yung interviews nung panahon ko? Sa tuwing maaalala ko yung feeling ng kaba, ng fear to speak, di ko rin nga maisip kung paano ako naka-survive.
Obviously, that would put much pressure on my end—for someone like me who has #stutter—thinking that not being able to express myself fluidly through spoken communication would mean deduction syempre to my points. Kaya I believe na importante din na malaman ng interviewers if applicants have a condition, so interviews can be tailored to be more inclusive (which I did in one of my scholarship interviews in 2011 where I told the panel that I am a person with stutter). Doing so, I feel, can allow scholarship authorities to accommodate learners/applicants with speech impediments or language impairments.
Now as I am writing this, the stutter is still here with me. Akala ng iba, wala. Na baka gawa-gawa ko lang. Others assume na I have outgrown it. Some would even motivate me by asking me to shrug it off, saying it's just all in my head. But no. Me and my stutter co-exist and it will never go away. It's here to stay. Forevs.
But what's important is the now, di ba? And here we are, looking back to memories of being a #scholar, not focusing on our so-called tragic flaws that at some point in our lives made us feel less of a person.
Hmmm. On a lighter note, kelan kaya ako ulit magiging scholar? Lord, baka naman po... 😉 ❤

Thank you to all those who assisted me today, so I can get vaccinated! Stressed ang ate mo ghorl, knowing na someone might have claimed my slot already just because I roughly made it in time for my sched.
Today is also the first leg of the 2-day online panel interviews for Iskolar ni Gob applications, and ICT personnel tayo doon kaya di ko rin pwedeng maiwan yung duty ko na yon.
So eto nga... I was halfway through the workday and like, luh kelan na naman kaya ako magpapa-sched ne'to?
While I was waiting for my turn, nakaupo ako sa seats, pakiramdam ko pa ay scheduled-ka-nga-pero-parang-illegal-naman-na-naandyan-ka feeling kasi may nakakuha na nga nung slot ko. Or paranoid lang talaga ako and quick at panicking at things? Ewan.
Luckily, I was able to clarify things and somehow "reclaim" my slot. And that is with the help of Tita Mina (my Papa's cousin) and Ms. Michelle Robles (Barangay Hall Personnel, Brgy. San Miguel).
Also, walang umuwing luhaan kanina just because Dra. Allen Matignas (our Municipal Doctor) made sure na everyone gets vaccinated—walk-in man yan or scheduled.
I am just so grateful. Thank You, Lord, for today! :)))
Thank you, DepEd Jalajala Sub-Office, most especially to my classmates/fellow school paper advisers @candiesheart @kathleenbalajadia, for this cutie gift and for inviting me to talk about #photojournalism last April 🤗❤️
