I felt like drawing an old OC! I imagine that these characters grow and change over time throughout this long-running story in my head. I also imagine that what they wear and how they look also changes, as I have always liked when characters dress in new ways and are not frozen to one outfit for the entire series. For Fieore, I always imagined her as a sort of nu-goth, especially as a teenager. She is holding a round fire agate here.

This is my most unhinged fanart, which is just Damien Haas as Tilda Swinton. I made him look more insane? Ethereal? Either way, I was compelled to draw this by some unseen force while I ate my lunch at work.

What was thought to be spines being pushed out of a pelicans' mouth is actually the lower beak pushing over their necks. This is called glottis exposure, and it is done for hygiene purposes by readjusting the surrounding skin. Misconception says that this is a way of cooling off, but actually, the bird is just yawning. Also, this one has a bunch of shotguns in his mouth because the world is a strange and confusing place. Nightmares can sometimes look like an uncomfortable room with repeat cloud wallpaper and a monster that almost looks familiar.

I began this in 2021 as an outline, but came across it last night, and thought it might be nice to finish it. I decided against doing a one-for-one panel redraw and instead incorporated other things that I enjoy from different chapters. Looking at it as is, I can say that this isn't my best work, but I did very much enjoy working with markers again. The armor was super fun!
