Security Cameras - TASM! Peter Parker x Reader

Summary: You invite the guy you’re currently seeing, Peter Parker, to see a homemade tech gadget you made. Without telling him what it is, you catch something you weren’t supposed to. At least, you can only assume, you weren’t supposed to see because why would Spide- OMG!

The sound of fingers aggressively tapping sounded through the room. A grin splayed across your face as you were typing. You’ve created something quite interesting. A homemade security camera made to look entirely like a hanging plant. Due to the mass of the camera, you were able to add high camera and audio quality.

Y/N🫧: Pete, you should come over because I just made the most beautiful, and practical addition to my new place.

Y/N🫧: I swear I’m not joking. It’s so genius that it has small-business potential!

Peter📷: I’m so so so so sorry! I’m just so busy right now.

Peter📷: Give me like 2 hours and I’ll be there!

Y/N🫧: Coolio 🫶

You placed your phone down, then looked up at the ‘pot’. Deciding one wasn’t enough, you headed inside and to make two more. Considering you had all the materials prepared, it took just under an hour. To say the least, it was much easier the second time around. You set one up on the front porch, as well as one on the back porch. Happy with your work, you strolled back into the building. Crashing onto the couch you decided to turn on the TV.

“YouTube.” You sighed scrolling through your recommended page. Your cursor fell upon a video titled Spider-Man Top Aura Moments. With a chuckle, you clicked on the video. “Get a load of this guy.” You mumbled as frat bro went in depth about the spider hero’s ‘rizz’ and ‘gyatt’. That is one thing you both had agreed on. Spider-Man has ass for days.

Once the video came to an end you stood up to grab a snack. As you pushed yourself off the couch your phone buzzed. Checking the notification, you saw it was from the back porch camera. Spider-Man was yanking webbing off the side of your porch. You furrowed your brows at the scene. ‘What is Spider-Man doing here?’ You thought.

He turned around and looked side to side before pulling the mask off. You gasped, shocked at his oblivion. You pressed the talk button planning to make Spider-Man put the mask back on before he exposes his identity.

“Uhhh, hey you might want to put the mask back on.” Spider-Man quickly turned his head around, widening his eyes. “Oh my- Holy shit! PETER?!” You covered your mouth with both hands. Peter’s eyes finally locked onto the unassuming plant.

“Heyyy, Y/N...” Peter said nervously, eyes wide, and mouth drying. “Is this- uhh- the gadget you wanted to show me?” He subtly pointed at the ’plant’, then scratched the back of his neck anxiously.

You shut off your phone walking to the back door. “This can’t be real.” You shook your head. Your hand gripped the doorknob, hesitant to open it. “Yes, it’s not real. This was all a part of my imagination!” You let out a nervous laugh, not even believing yourself. Twisting the door open you saw that it was, in fact, not your imagination. Spider-Man, or Peter was stood at your back door.

“So..” Peter dragged out. Your brows furrowed followed by your eyes rolling back and closing. “Y/N!” Was the last thing you heard as you fainted.

A/N: this is the first time I’ve ever actually creatively written something, so criticism is appreciated.
