Hey Everyone!

Here’s the finished Skeleton Warrior, complete with his new Shield Bash attack!

This guy’s attack is unstoppable, so attacking him while he’s winding up an attack will likely end up with you getting a massive hit. That being said, attacking him while not winding up an attack will end up with him going into his defensive stance were he blocks 80% of the damage! 

As if that wasn’t bad enough, after blocking a couple of attacks he will retaliate with an aoe (Area of Effect) shield bash that causes minor damage and also stuns the player for 3 seconds, leaving him open to a sword swing more massive damage. 

This makes the Skeleton Warrior the most formidable foe so far, requiring strategy and timing to take down. However, Elemental Weapons, environmental hazards and other items are there to help you take him down easily.

The cover art intrigued me. Four spunky looking teenage girls, a little roughed up with bruises and band-aids. The title “Hi-Fi Fight Club” with a record in the logo. Stylish art with an unmistakable 90′s aesthetic. I pluck it from a shelf crowded with other new arrivals. But this one stood out. It called to me. I flipped it open.  Page 1, Chris is introduced. Page 2, GAY!  Sold! Gosh, I’m weak. My girlfriend was standing next to me and she wondered: “Is it really gay or just baiting?”  Oh, it’s gay. It’s so totally adorably gay. It is wholesomely gay. Not like the “Bury Your Gays” kind of gay or the toxic drama “L-Word” kind of gay. It’s what you get when a story isn’t trying to be tragic or poignant, but just fun and lively. It’s “teenage girl crush” gay. Its level of drama is: “I don’t know what genre of music resonates with me” and “does she like me back?” With a little pinch of snarky coworker for good measure. It is, from the two issues currently available, everything a young-adult representative piece of entertainment should be. It’s everything a young gay person deserves - a lead role with everyday problems and a simple and fun story that doesn’t take itself too seriously or ask the “hard” questions that come with being gay in today’s society. It just treats it “normally” like it should be! Because, if you ask me (a gay person), being gay isn’t anything special if you remove the vitriol surrounding it. But it’s not just a gay story and not just for “gay people” (ugh). This is a comic that takes you back to the 90s, throws music references at you left and right, explores teenage troubles, and empowers women non-stop. Non-stop! They’re fighty, they’re opinionated, and they’re the leading roles through and through, with diverse representation and personalities.  I can’t wait for Issue #3! Please buy this comic, please support the author and artists, and spread the word! I just discovered the Practice Tool that got added to League recently (?) at some point

I went in to practice Riven’s fast combo but then I got distracted. After barricading a few more waves I unleashed them and pushed all the way to the enemy base at the head of a minion army XD

Oh no. I’m curious, but not very optimistic. I’d be shattered if they removed all the culture and ritual and Japanese history from the live action movie. Please go easy on the special effects, please preserve the characters and settings, and please don’t hurt this beautiful stooorrryyyy. K, thanks.

Great game, fair price, and even 4K support! It’s even on the PC -- never would have guessed that. But why no love for the Switch?! I’d love to have another solid title for my Switch collection (which is comprised of BotW and Shovel Knight currently).

Okami HD will be available on December 12, 2017 in both digital and physical formats for $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99 .

The original game, released to critical and consumer acclaim in 2006, was hailed as one of the most beautiful games ever created, and this latest release with its renowned Sumi-e ink art style is now even more breath-taking as the graphics have been updated to take advantage of modern high resolutions. Okami HD will be compatible with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro whilst featuring stunning 4K graphics on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and supported PC hardware.

In Okami HD players take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess who inhabits the form of a legendary white wolf Shiranui on a quest to defeat Orochi, an eight-headed demon and tyrannical monster responsible for turning the world into a ruined wasteland. Players must use Amaterasu’s magical abilities and arsenal of items, attacks and Celestial Brush techniques to restore the land of Nippon to its previous glory full of life and colour. Along the way, Amaterasu will be called upon to help a cast of quirky and intriguing characters and defeat a bevy of brutal enemies to rid the land of Orochi’s curse.

Players will be able to choose between playing in a modern widescreen format or the original 2007 release’s 4:3 ratio. Interactive loading game screens from the original game are also included, allowing players to earn bonus demon fangs which can be traded for in-game items.
