A Good Night Fight
A Good Night Fight
The Ferber method worked when Noah was a few months old. Then we went through night terrors… Now my kid just doesn’t sleep well at all. Getting him to nap is slightly easier but we still get tantrums. However, he will nap a solid 1-2hrs straight.
Even after a long day at school, it took us two hours to fall asleep:
No TV – Just Quiet Play 1 Lavender bath 2 Books (2 short ones while in the bath) 2…

Bloggers Be Like.... "To Share or Not To Share"
Bloggers Be Like…. “To Share or Not To Share”
To share or not to share…
That is the question most bloggers face.
We all have a limit. Some are more personal than others but I think we can all agree that connections start to be made once you let your guard down. I want you to tell me how you feel. What do you like? How do you get things done?
Tell me something about YOU!
I am more of a “T.M.I.” kind of blogger. I may not be as comfortable…

Pairing the NEW Reese's Spreads
Pairing the NEW #ReesesSpreads @Influenster #VoxBox

Last week the new Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread *magically appeared in my mailbox. I decided to give it a try because 1. I never turn down food. and 2. We never keep sweets in the house (Due to the first reason). To lessen the guilt I paired it with a sweet red apple. It was better than just having it with peanut butter alone.

I’m greedy so I didn’t stop there. On the late night tip,…

#OurProject52 Morning {Week 2}
#OurProject52 Morning {Week 2}

Raisin Bran
Would you like some cereal with your milk?
That’s what my husband would say since I like my cereal swimming in milk. I drink the remaining of my milk at the end too. Why waste it?
Growing up I loved cereal. I would have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I could. Unfortunately this habit caught up to me with age. One of my first steps to #OperationSnapBack was to cut out cereal.…

Bloggers Be Like... Why don't you love me?
If you like it, then you better put a thumb, heart, or star on it! #BloggersBeLike
Page views, likes, and comments DO matter and CAN make our day. It may not personally validate us but let’s be honest…it’s why we sharing information online. If your blog isn’t private then you’re sharing it for someone else to enjoy, relate, or learn from…right?

{New Series} Homework with Teems: Getting Started
Homework with Teems: Getting Started
It has been almost a year since we purchased our first home. I can’t believe it. In my mind I thought we would just hit the ground running with renovations but that wasn’t the case. Although our home was move in ready but we still needed to do a few things to bring it up to speed and ensure our safety:
Change Door Locks
New Smoke Detectors
New Thermostat
Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Fire…

{NEW SERIES} Bloggers Be Like...
When it comes to blogging, "I'm a hustler baby!"
I have gotten myself deep in the blog game, so I wanted to share what it’s like to live actively in the blog world. It will be from my own perspective but I am sure my buddies will agree and like to add to this list. This series won’t be about bashing other bloggers. It’s just a funny insight into blogging. So here we go…
Blogging in 2015 is A LOT of work. It used to be just write and post, but I…

A Happy New Year Cleanse
A Happy New Year Cleanse
I started the new year off with a cleanse. The first time I did a liquid fast, it was an experiment for health concerns. This time around I am cleansing simply because my eating habits have been poor and it’s starting to show. So It’s time for Operations Snap Back again!
Day 1 of my juice cleanse was yesterday and it was soooo hard. I just HAD to eat some avocado to coat my stomach. At least it…

New Year, More Pressure
What is really so special about January 1st? #NewYear #QueSeraSera
So many of us put pressure on the new year. I know it feels like a clean slate but please tell me what is really so special about January 1st? This Thursday will not be any more “new” than right now. Today will ALWAYS be a new day. I too think about how I can approach life differently in the new year, but I also realized everything is not in my control. We can change our attitudes but not always…

This Christmas
The night before Christmas. Gifts from mommy, daddy, and Grandma. Noah helped us decorate the tree earlier this month. He insisted to put the “jingle bells” on himself. I love it! LOL
Christmas was a big deal in my house growing up. We always had a big tree and my Grandmother decorated it with our school crafts and ornaments from Avon. I remember all of us would stay up until midnight and go…

When A Child Uses Their Teeth
Has your child ever been bit before? #biting
Since my contract ended, Noah has been attending school part-time. Well this week, the only two days he is in school…. he came home with an injury/incident report. This is the third incident and all reports allegedly involved biting. What is interesting about this week is that Noah claims the same child bit him. The first day was on his back:

The second day was on his stomach. As I lift my son’s…

Birthday Recap: Just another day, kinda
A Birthday That Came and Went
My son made this card for me this year. But then his teacher also gave me his first incident report. :-(
The actual day of my birthday was was a quiet one. It wasn’t even on Thanksgiving this year and most people still can’t remember outside of Facebook. I guess you gotta make plans at my age to get recognition. I didn’t care though. No, Really…I just brought that up for emphasis. :-O I was so…
