With a week left of the 2024 Olympics, it’s time for an Olympics AU!

Kicking things off with our swimming prodigy turned diver, Percy Jackson.

Some other notes: I had the seven all ready to go for the last week of the Olympics, which is how the posts got up so fast! I have plans for more characters (like… five of them at least, including favorites like Reyna, Nico and Will) but they’re going to take a little more time between posts for my ~sanity~ :)

Thank you all so much for the enthusiasm for the AU, I really didn’t expect it and all the love for it has delighted me!

annabeth chase hcs because i barely see any content of her that’s not percabeth

she enjoys baking, even if she’s only decent at it. her favorite food to bake is pineapple upside down cake

she’s very fascinated by stained glass windows, olympus has a lot of those after she redesigned it

everytime she goes to olympus she gets a LOT of nymphs and minor gods asking for her autograph

she looks good in both silver and gold jewelry, but she prefers silver

she likes adding charms to her locs and braids everytime she gets them done

loves chunky headphones or wired earbuds, not a big fan of airpods

adores traveling!! after staying in chb for 5 years straight she knows she wants to visit somewhere new every year

her room is usually neat and tidy, but when she starts studying hardcore, it very quickly becomes super messy

leo: hey percy, what goes through your mind when you control water?

percy: uh, i don’t know. i don’t really think about it. i just do it. you know?

leo: but like, how do you tell it what to do?

percy: i don’t tell it what to do. it just does what i want. i don’t really think it. i feel it.

leo: so like bluetooth

percy: huh?

leo: you bluetooth connect to the ocean

annabeth, putting her book down: leo, Poseidon himself does not bluetooth connect to the ocean. he embodies the ocean. he is the ocean. when poseidon is calm, the ocean is calm. when poseidon is angry, the ocean is angry. because they are both the ocean in different forms. so being poseidon’s son, the ocean is part of percy. it’s the same as when he moves his arms and legs. it’s like another limb, so he doesn’t have to think about controlling it. that’s why water reacts when he’s scared or angry. it’s his reflexes. water is part of him.

leo: so… like icloud

annabeth: that doesn’t even make sen-

I rehabilitated an evil sentient brown housecoat that kept trying to poison everyone. This was done by making it watch Doctor Who.

Percy: so let me just get this clear, Leo speaks three languages, he's super tech savvy, and he's in AP math classes.

Leo: pretty much, yeah.

Percy: and Solace over here is like number one professional doctor with years of training and actual practice.

Will: I'm kinda cheating with the magic, but I read the books to make sure.

Percy: meanwhile Reyna, Jason, Hazel and Frank were/are a teenage war general. That must had required something.

Reyna, jason, Hazel and Frank: way too much leadership skills.

Percy: Calipso can make clothes from scratch, and how to grow her own food.

Calipso: I do.

Percy: Nico knows like six languages. And had years of playing video games.

Nico: I know Italian, Latin, Greek, English, and a little bit of French, so like, four and a half.

Percy: Annabeth gained architectural experience when she designed the fucking Olympus.

Annabeth: that was awesome.

Percy: Piper have a famous father, and she speaks French.

Piper: I don't like to talk about it.

Percy: all of you people are actually useful in the mortal world. I am wanted for arson.
