i am finally free of school work as i finished this summer semester last week and i can finally start getting ready for this years artfight!

for such a special occasion i finally designed my ponysona, which i was putting off constantly due to literally being unable to draw a fricking pony... but i actually succeeded with this one! i overcame my skill issue 😊 anyway... pls check out my artfight account if you also participate and consider attacking me>:) i will gladly attack you back

also i'm not a big mlp fan, i haven't even seen the whole thing, but i like to imagine Mayhowl to have a similar story to Fluttershy - being lonely due to her differences and finding comfort on the ground among trees, birds and other animals:')

for the last week i have been working on a zine as a personal project for my risography classes. working on something Palestine themed was an immediate idea. i recently stumbled upon Fadwa Tuqan's work and had to illustrate one of her poems.

i am currently printing the zine on riso, but in the meantime i decided to share digital version of it. there is also going to be a poster on the other side, following up on my main class assigment, which i will hopefully share too once this whole semester is over:')

decided to share a typographic diptych poster i did this winter semester back in Gdańsk during my Erasmus stay. it was an excercise where one poster should be dominated by image and the other one by text. it was also supposed to corespond with the period in which the chosen artwork was made.

it was my first ever typography lesson that didn't make me wanna shoot my brains out of my head! i genuinely really loved it and, believe it or not, it actually taught me stuff and showed me new possibilities (crazy thing to expect from a school subject, right?)

As a comparison i also decided to include a redesign of a national geographic magazine i did last year for typography classes at our uni. those classes were definitely traumatizing and made me wanna choke our teacher and then die and also from a professional view the work is probably shit, but i had a bit of fun with it and i'm sure pinterest girlies would tell me it's cute and that's honestly all life's about sometimes 🫶

since the day i drew my fursona something healed in me and now i can be slightly more cringe and more true to myself and have wolves on my mind very often like i did in elementary school 🫶 thank you to 3 of my 5 friends who happen to be furries and just as cringe as i am.. we are free together, we know love and kidness

this is a second riso print poster i did for our uni caffeteria, where i tried to combine a food themed poster with an activistic message. this, unlike the "eat the rich" one i posted a while ago, is pretty plain and self explanatory in it's meaning and message.

hope tumblr doesn't completely destroy the quality of my zine lol

i was asked by a friend to join an art exhibition that she is helping with organizing, so for the whole next week, my art will be avalible to see in the Spektrum gallery in Brno (brňáci, stavte se!). im very excited but also really terrified - i've never done art profesionally and have virtually no experience with publically sharing my work outside of the world wide web :'). it's probably gonna be a mess and i am sorry in advance.

for my part of the exhibition, i put together this zine slash collage titled tohle se mi zdálo (this is what i dreamt about). it doesn't really have any overarching themes - i just wanted to include as many media as possible and mush them together into some kind of diary entry or a stream of consciousness. i don't want to be making anything groundbreaking or interesting, i just want my art to be fun! i hope i achieved that!
