A frustrated sigh left out your mouth as you struggled to be released from his iron grip, Sadly it only encouraged him to grip your arm tighter while making his way back to Wangshu Inn. His stomping increasing in volume.

Quickly walking past the crushed down stall In the middle of the bridge, you began to struggle out once again. This time, Scaramouche released his grip on you while turning to face you directly in the eyes.

"That poor excuse of a person- doesn't need your assistance. You work only for the Harbingers, got it?" He spat out, blue eyes clashing against yours in a fiery flame.

Such an irony his blue eyes reminded you of the ocean.

Rubbing your wrist with your other hand, you raised a brow at him in an questuoning manner. "Since when did you allowed me to work with the others? Childe was barel-"

"Do not mention his name around me." Scoffing, he turned his back to you as he stride his way forward. "He's weak, his way of combat is so time-consuming if you didn't notice. He has much to do to get on my level." He claimed, his arms slightly swaying side to side as he then further explains about how he was better than the Hydro user himself.

"He is nothing but a mutt."

"Hah! Hydro isn't even suitable for him, in fact. I believe any other element isn't good for him aswell. He's better off in the dirts."

"You might see him fighting during your travels with me, but all he does is snoop around and sleep under a tree all day. See? Isn't so good of a Harbinger now, isn't he?"

"A coward. That's what he is."

With a strained smile, you could only watch him babble about how better he was, with a side of insults thrown to Childe in the process. Goodness gracious, was he in a sour mood this whole afternoon?

"I guess so..." You muttered out, walking up the stairs as you both made your way to the lift. Occasionally being greeted by some of the waiters and waitresses around Wangshu Inn.

"Stop your sentence. We won't be speaking of anyone today. Got that?"

"They were heavily wounded, Scaramouche... A-and I barely even gotten an word out!"

"You just did. And so what? They could handle themselves just fine by walking from Qince Village to Liyue Harbour before. And now They're acting all fragile and weak around you? You've been blinded by them."

"Maybe because they walked their whole way to Liyue just to ask for-"

"No. I refuse to hear anything from them. They're a low life with no sense of mentality." He sneered out, his shoes tapping along the wooden planks Impatiently while you both waited for the elevator.

When the lift did finally went down, you went in first before Scaramouche followed through. Though it was quite a bumpy ride, you were in awe at the sight below as the lift slowly took you both higher and higher from the ground.

Distracted by the view, you didn't realize Scaramouche staring at you intensely as he took in the details of your appearance.

He wouldn't dare to say his feelings out loud. Besides, his pride wouldn't even allow it a single bit.

Shaking his head, the orbs attached to his hat swaying from the movement created. He couldn't look weak in front of you now!

"Hey, we're here now." Your voice echoed around his ear, snapping him immediately from his thoughts. "I know." He grumbled. The both of you walking out of the lift as you went back to being awe'd by the scenery, walking towards the rails excitedly before looking around. The smile so visibly apparent on your face.

He couldn't help but be softened by the sight in front of him. With a small twitch upon his lips, he shook his head before he went inside the Inn, immediately getting greeted by the owner and manager.

He'll keep you around with for a while. After all, he did seem to take an liking on you.

"Hey, Scaramouche? Could you just tone it down on the cussing for a bit? You've just seem to snapped today.."

Musical Euphoria.

!! I'll be doing Kaeya next~ can't get stuck on both of my favourite characters after all. Ehe, and I've made this while I was falling asleep;; Oh! And by the way, my requests are open (*´ω｀*) ~~

-Hanging out with Bennett while encouraging him to get the highest score during the Windblume festival. Razor came along to watch aswell. It was quite a nice today.

The afternoon skies were pretty today.

The buzz of the crowds in Mondstadt was vibrant as ever before, though this time it was more crowded and cheerful than usual due to the Festival taken place.

Standing outside the gate from the right side of the city, the docks below quite empty as usual. Taking your time, you've walked yourself towards the small set-up made by the locals.

With a smile, you watched as Razor and Bennett communicate with one another. Though one of them couldn't speak well, Bennett was more than happy to take it easy and explain it more on simpler terms. Munching on some Fisherman's toast you've bought along the way as they babbled on.

"Yeah! You just strum it and it'll make a sound. Just like with any other instruments! Lyres are pretty cool, huh?" Bennett excitedly explained, his hands clenched to a fist as his eyes sparkled in joy.

"Yes. Lyre.. sound good. Can you play song?" Nodding in agreement, Razor gave back the Lyre to Bennett as soon as he finished his try-out, questioning him in the process.

Gladly recieving the Lyre back to his embrance, he glanced away from his friend's eye with a embarrassed chuckle. "I-i wouldn't say I was the best at it.. so maybe.. [ y.n ] could help us out instead?"

Immediately placing the attention on you, you couldn't help but choke on a piece while staring at Bennett directly in the eyes. Razor glancing at the both of you while he watched patiently with his head slightly tilted to the side.

"huh? Why me?" Your eyes widening in curiousity, pointing at yourself for verification. Your words mumbled and mushed up from the toast you've just finished eating. Bennett could only nod and give his signature grin.

"Dunno! Hehe. but come on, you can just try it out!" He suggested, holding the Lyre out for you to take.

With a shake of your head, you pushed it back to him. "No no, I'm no good at it! Besides, you did see him play it right, Razor?" You inquired. Both you and Bennett now turning your heads towards Razor as he raised one of his hands towards his chin, thinking, before quietly nodding his head.

"Yes. Bennett is good! he knows to play. Music...happy." Razor exclaimed, expressing his emotions. Ruby eyes staring right at him with admiration. His hood sliding down from the wind as his silver hair blew gently, some small bits of leaves that were stuck finally being blown away.

"W-woah! Really? Razor, I'm not that g-good. I just did some practice on the Lyre, that's all.." Scratching his head, a small blush forming slowly across his face, lowering his head slightly in shyness from the compliment.

It was a cute sight to see such people who were once strangers be such close friends with one another.

Clearing your throat, you've managed to capture the attention of both males. "As much as I don't wanna ruin the mood. Bennett, it's time to show us what you've got!"

"A-ah. Right, right! Hehe, well wish me luck... Or not." Sighing, he toyed with the strings beforehand, warning up his hands before diving straight in to the music.

With you and Razor watching Bennett play Fondest Memories, you both felt relaxed. Bennett's closed eyes and a sruched nose focusing on the rhythm was enough to make you smile silently to yourself as you move along to the rhythm. Razor following along your steps.

Swaying along, you've come to an realization that the 3 of you weren't able to hang out with one another for quite a while.

Usually, Bennett would be too busy taking care of his dad's and going out exploring himself, while Razor on the other hand stayed in Wolvendom to protect his kind, sometimes joining in on Bennett's adventure. And as for you, you were busy helping with others, commissions and expeditions you were expected to go in the exact time.

So it was such a cherishable experience to finally be together with one another during the Windblume festival.

The distance clapping heard from the other side of the city as the laughter from the Trio were heard from a meter away. Bennett's constant replays to complete the music flawlessly being put to an hold by his unluckiness, Razor's bombarding compliments towards Bennett, and your constant teasing towards the both of them.

Slowly, it was starting to get dark. The lights around Mondstadt flickering open, the dandelions flowing through the skies, the Angel's share starting to overflow with customers that could also be heard from a mile away.

It was a fun day.

Gripping Razor's and Bennett's hand who both sat beside you, as they continued to ramble on about the Festival. Their lively chatter relieving your stress as you listened on, laughing along their conversation. The lyre now safety kept in your arms.

And you wouldn't mind spending another day like this with them again.

- Chongyun's positive (Yang) energy seemed to have gotten stronger lately, and it's starting to get out of hand more often than needed. Maybe a little talk about it won't hurt.

After a while of nothing but staring at the beautiful sight around Liyue in Wanmin, you've suddenly felt suspicious with Chongyun's present behaviour.

He seemed a little dazed, it was also accompanied with a emotionless face. You would've thought he was reflecting on his life as an exorcist. But, no. It wasn't anything like that all!

Infact, it was the complete opposite.

All he could ponder about in his mind was you. Though, It may seem like it was way too cheesy and unromantic to him. After all, he didn't have the time to have such fun or acquire a small crush on a person.

But that seemed to changed today.

With a sigh, you stirred your iced water with a graceful slide with your fingers. The ice cubes clinking slightly when touching the inner parts of the glass cup.

It was no secret that you were gifted a vision by the gods. It was no different on how the others had gotten them as well.

Flabbergasted by the sudden news, you immediately made your mind up to help the ones in dire need with your vision! Of course, it wasn't always a perfect and clean run helping out, but the compensation were definitely rewarding.

After all, with great power comes with great responsibility.

Well, to start off your day, you went ahead and tried to find a glimpse of a blue haired exorcist during the marketplace below, early in the morning. Since he seems to be here for a reason, and definitely was not intended on resting.

So you decided to tag along with him before and during his commissions given by Katheryne.

It was a mess trying to clean up the scattered Cor Lapis that suddenly spurred out of his hands the second he turned around to see you waving. And by total accident, you've managed to blow 1 away from the ground and straight to the ocean.

You've never felt so guilty yet quite amused this year. Wincing, as he came back drenched, bangs almost fully covering his eyes. The wooden planks also wet from his steps.

"Sorry! I- I seriously still don't know how to control this well! I'm so sorry-"

"Its alright, All that matters now is that I've gotten my Cor Lapis back. It would've been a disaster if it swept across oceans. It was good I manage to swim my way there on time."

And Giving him his homemade ice popsicles didn't even do the trick at all!

"..."

"..."

"...so, feel better?"

"No. The heat is slowly rising up an- and I can't seem to stop it- I- I think I might've eaten something hot while I was chewing!"

"Want me to make a sweeter version instead? Or do you want me to fetch some Cyro Whopperflower's real quick instead?"

"It- it's alright! just make the popsicles please!"

This weekend, chaos was happening more frequently around him, and you were sure it was bound to continue like this in the next weeks. Besides, you weren't sure if he was in the right mindset this afternoon after all the things that had happened this morning.

Of course you knew he was strong enough to handle such issues and problems himself! But, maybe it's time for you to intervene.

And so, with a nervous glint in your eyes, you opened up your mouth, "Hey.." you spoke out, His eyes seemingly snapping back into reality as soon as he heard your voice, before making an eye contact with you.

"Huh? What is it? My apologies, it seems like I've dozed off.." apologizing, he immediately averted his eyes. Oh dear, is he heating up quicker than usual?

"Its alright, really. I just wanted to ask if there was anything wrong lately. Uh, like your Yang energy?"

"It's nothing to worry about.. Recently, my Yang energy has gotten stronger over the past few weeks and I've been trying to restraint it as much as I can." He confessed, clearing his throat in the process before lifting one of his hands up to grab his iced drink.

With a tilt of a head, you hummed in response. "I don't know about you, but I think that's something to worry about. Any explanations on how it gotten stronger?"

"No, sadly. I'm still trying to find the reasons to it, still no luck. But that's not what matters now, we still have a commission we haven't done yet."

"Wait what? I

thought we finished them all already!"

"Ah.. about that, its not really a commission but instead, clues and information's on spirits I've managed to get a hold of."

"And who did you get it from?"

"Xingqiu, he truly is a good friend, isn't he? With this much research and clues, we'll surely find a good one amongst these papers!" With a small and gentle smile, he sends it towards you. Placing the papers right in front, your eyes scanning through each information given.

'A Blue haired demon destroying a cart of popsicles in Qingce Village?'

"..of course." Ending the topic with a sigh, you took a sip of your water, watching as the sunset slowly get overtaken by the moon and stars. Chongyun did the exact same thing as well, watching as the skies split apart to show the bright moon.

Oh dear, did he managed to catch feelings for you during his travels? He could feel his heart beating.

Touching his face with his hand, he felt the heat slowly becoming more apparent. Sneaking a glance of you near him, his eyes softened.

How would he even confess to you? It was hard confessing without feeling so mushy and awkward, but now, since his Yang energy gotten stronger, it was impossible to even spit the words out at all!

It was in a perfect scenario already! There was barely any customers near, the night sky, with you by his side. It was all set. All he had to do was tell you and everything would be complete!

With a shaky hand, he gripped the glass before sighing. 'Alright, all I have to do is tell them before it's too late!'

Feeling his cheeks heat more than it did before,

He then sputtered out his confession.

"[ y.n ]. There's something important and urgent I need to tell you." Grabbing your attention immediately, you snapped your eyes towards Chongyun. "Yeah? What is it?"

With both of your eyes interlocked with one another, your heartbeats beating in a synchronised beat- you felt like this was a dream. This exact scenario that went through your head before.

His comforting yet sharp eyes staring directly at you with such intense passion, you felt like you could melt at the sight of it. The street lights and lamps that illuminate his face, and the blush plastered across his face was enough for you to replicate the same expression.

"[ y.n ] , uhm.. I.."

"Yeah?"

"Uh, I...."

Oh, well, this wasn't going as planned for him was it?

Nervously gulping, he averted his eyes from you. Watching you stare at him with a blush apparent on your face was enough to make him feel heated up and embarrassed.

Raising his hands, he gripped them together for support. "I..." He spoke, slowly turning his words into incoherent words, mumbling silently to himself before the heat finally got the best of him.

Immediately noticing how red he've gotten, you hastily replied to him to calm down. Grabbing his hand by the action, and gently letting him take hold of the iced drink himself.

But alas, it only worsened as he realized you were holding his hand for a mere second.

"Chongyun!" You yelled out, quickly getting out of your seat before grabbing ahold of him by the arm, the wind blowing in slightly to prevent him from falling over quickly.

Settling him back to his seat in the Wanmin restaurant, you sighed. The blush still visible in your face. The fire behind you cackling as footsteps from another person suddenly is being heard.

Giving your full attention to the entrance, your shoulders tensing up in anticipation, as you waited patiently. The footsteps growing louder and louder, only to be relieved that it was Chef Mao.

"Hey! Didn't know you two were still here, I was about to close up the restaurant." He grinned, walking inside the restaurant as he immediately went tidying up.

"Oh, we were just watching the sunset. I guess we've stayed for too long." You chuckled, Chef Mao could only laugh in return.

"Wayyy too long. Well, you might need to ask for some help if you need to lift a man up." He replied, his words motioning to Chongyun. His back faced to you as he placed the utensils back to their places.

You shook your head in disagreement, despite the fact you knew he couldn't see you. "Nono, it's alright. I think I can bring him to Wangshu Inn with no problem. So, How about I help you clean up, Chef Mao?"

"If you say so, and of course, I couldn't say no to that, even if I wanted to!"

Chongyun awoken with a groan, his hands immediately shielding him from the sun rays that sneakily came through the window binds.

"Huh..? Where am I?" He muttered to himself, eyes blinking twice, before he sat upright. Taking a quick scan around his surroundings, he immediately knew where he was.

"Wangshu Inn. But why am I covered in-" his sentence was cut of by the sight of you sitting down on a chair, your head laying on top of the bed. Your lips curling slightly downwards probably from the dream you're having.

Eyes widening slightly, he took the peaceful image of you in his mind. You looked so graceful sleeping,

despite your messy hair that managed to look quite fluffy to touch. The soft rays of light shining through, your body illuminating softly, giving you such an angelic aura. It almost felt like a dream to him aswell.

With a smile, he patted your hair, running his fingers through your hair. Even if it was tangled. Before placing a small yet gentle kiss on top of your forehead.

He doesn't remember anything that had happened to him during that night, like all the memories have been swiped away from him in a millisecond.

But, he was greatful to have a peaceful morning with you finally in it this time.

Injuries and affections.

- bennett seems to feel a little worn out after all his adventures lately, maybe its time to head back to Mondstadt and pay you a little visit too while he's at it.

With a huff, he clenched his sword tightly, before wiping off any dirt or sweat that came near in contact with his eyes. One of the last remaining's of Hilichurls, now lying and evaporating into small and thin blue particles, slowly drifting away to the skies.

Grabbing the damaged mask it left on the bristling grass, he decided to keep it. After all, it's a fortune to see a drop from these creatures after all!

As much as he was having fun adventuring off from Mondstadt to Liyue for the first time- including some bad luck striking him down here and there. -he felt tired. Drained, even. At first he thought maybe it was some type of tiredness he didn't know about, but that was proven fake by himself feeling the same as each day passes by a new dawn.

But then it strucked him! Both literally and figuratively. It was how he never stopped himself to relax as he continued on his journey along Liyue.

Most of the time, it was either he got chased down by a swam of Hilichurls, a massive thunderstorm with a high chance of being struck down and losing heat, and some group of Geovishaps that managed to cross paths with him, causing him to retreat in alarm as he watched them quickly roll towards him in such great speed.

He never had a chance to breathe at all. And besides, most of the chests he've found had only vegetables with a occasional artifact and such within them. He appreciates it, he really does! But its taking such a toll on him.

And so, he decided to stop his adventures for now and head back towards Mondstadt. A little break, he says to himself. A little break.

Following the pathway, he slowly made his way towards the bridge. The familiar city with its opened gates filled him with euphoria. The sun rays beaming down on the city, it's windmills moving with the wind, all together. It was truly a sight. And oh boy, he sure does miss it!

Breathing in the air, he sighed happily. The weight on his shoulders while he was traveling in Liyue had suddenly disappeared. Lifting his head high, with his grin plastered across his face, he took his first steps across the bridge.

"I'm--!

-baaaaack..." He groaned out, rubbing his forehead as he lets [y.n] scold him for his reckless behaviour. "Yes I know, and I'm happy to see you! But did you seriously trip over nothing while you were crossing over the bridge?" They sighed, wiping off the excess dirt that nudged his skin from across the table.

"Don't worry, about me [y.n]! I'm already used to it, hehe. Besides, I'm here to relax and see you too!" He grinned, giving them one of their signature thumbs up. They could only shake their head in disbelief, the curve of their lips turning upwards slightly at his adorable gesture.

"A ray of sunshine as always, I see." They replied, their hair flowing gently from the winds. His green eyes observing each strand as the wind blew stronger, his eyes shining brighter with a slightly gaping mouth. Snapping back to reality, he quickly nodded. A small blush slowly forming across his face, he could feel himself heating up.

"Y-yeah! Of course! There's no need to get sad and mopey at such a small thing after all!" He replied, his jumbled up words in the beginning messing up his delivery. With a chuckle, [y.n] retracted their hands before clearing their throat. "Well, at least this time you didn't cause such a mess here, in Good Hunter." A full smile now seen across their face.

Now acknowledging the fact he, infact, didnt cause a single mischief in Good Hunter yet, he gasped in surprise. "You're right! And I've just noticed it now! Is it because... you're right here with me and my bad luck isn't as bad it was before? Hehe, just a guess." He nervously laughed, scratching his head as he felt his face heat up more than the previous one.

Laughing, [y.n] slowly stood up from their chair and walked towards Bennett. Their eyes immediately finding one another as the spark burst through their veins. Though, they were both sure that their hearts were beating faster than usual.

It was no secret that the both of them have been crushing on one another for such a long period of time. The both of them were completely oblivious! 'They were a match made in heaven' the citizens of Mondstadt would say beneath their breaths. Even Kaeya himself, the charming yet flirtatious man could tell they were both lovestruck from a mile away.

"Maybe, but I think thats mostly just you and your positivity today. Come on! we still have to go to Timaeus for some of your equipment and talent skills." Nodding along to their words, Bennett quickly stood up and placed his chair back to its original position, before quickly catching up with [y.n].

"You know... I never gotten to ask how you were doing today." Bennett spoke out, walking slowly as humanly they both could be. Tracing behind them as he stared at the Cathedral from above. The bushes moving softly as the wind blew harder once again. Shielding his eyes with his hand, he blinked a few times before retracting his hand back.

It almost felt like the wind was trying to tell him something...

"Oh, well. Same old same old, I never changed much while you were away. I'm still the good ol' Mondstadt citizen you know."

"Huh? You didn't do anything at all while I was away?"

"Yeah, I didn't find much fun in anything with you gone and away. It was boring, but there wasn't anything I could do."

He was sure his heart skipped a beat, but in a more rapid way. Shaking his head to remove the fuzziness in his mind, he then placed a hand across his chest. Feeling his heart beat in such a rapid pace, just because of their words...

Is this what it feels like to be in love?

"W-woah! That's such a big compliment coming from you... B-but maybe we can hangout with eachother while adventuring! And we can find some treasure chest while we're at it too!" He exclaimed, making his hands turn into a fist before raising it high up to the air with such enthusiasm.

"Well, if you want to! Of course, hehe." He quickly added in. [y.n] could only just chuckle in return, a blush apparent in their features, accepting the invitation in a heartbeat.

"Of course, I wouldn't mind it one bit! Anyways, we're here. Go ahead and do what you need to do with that alchemist powers of yours!" With a chuckle, he gave his signature thumbs up and grin that seems to always be apparent on his face. And immediately went working on the materials needed to build and talents to upgrade.

Though it might've taken quite longer to craft the materials. With them standing by his side, as they idly chatted about common things, sometimes Timaeus would also join in. He could feel his free hand being intertwined by theirs slowly, and then gently squeezing it. So, with a happy stretched smile across his face, slightly hidden by his hair. He squeezed it back reassuringly.

Even if he doesn't get to confess his love yet, a simple affection was enough to make him feel happy and contented the whole day.

"Huh? How come I've only received 10 of these, when I made 23?"

"Bennett, I think your bad luck is starting to come out again..."
