Let me rant

So I was reading some lame ass tumblr percabeth fic or whatever and the they find out they’re both ADHD and they’re like “ha us special ed kids”

EXCUSE MY ADHD ASS

No offense to special Ed kids out there but ADHD doesn’t really fall under special ed

Like those are two very different things

And if you just assume it’s all the same well your an ignorant piece of trash

and the way it came up

Like I don’t introduce myself as ADHD who the fuck would?

I’m not at a party saying hey I’m—- and gosh it’s loud in heat whoops that’s the adhd in me!

Like wtf

Like do your research before you write ADHD characters or any mentally ill/ learning disability characters

Man I could just go on but in conclusion don’t be ignorant

WHAT???” I thought this was just like peoples thoughts in general 

is this not what it’s like for everyone else??? 

I asked my friend whether she has a constant inner dialougue going on, and she said no.

And I’m like?????? How can you not??

Are peoples heads silent most of the time????

Are they not constantly singing and talking and wondering and imagining bullshit in their heads 24/7

So then I asked around, to some other people and they all agreed!!! 

No nonstop inner talking!! 

They said for them, it was more pictures or not fully formed sentences then full speech.

So now I’m just trying to figure out if this is an adhd thing???? Because no one is an individual in their actions due to probability and stuff so I can’t be the only one.

I’ve tried researching it, and in psychology its called ‘inner speech’!!

Theres a lot of text and I’m getting bored of reading about this,,..,.,

So instead I wanted to ask, what any of your experiences with inner speech are? 

Because I’m curious about other peoples first hand experiences with it!

This is so weird to me I just assumed everybody did that

finding out people dont usually add numbers by first adding something to make a ten (for example 7+6= 7 plus 3 is 10 plus another 3 is 13) & that its actually an adhd thing is the WILDEST shit literally ive lived like 10 years (or however old i was when i learned to add and stuff) thinking thats how everyone does it. what the fuck

you know when you work your ass off for something even tho it’s like a lot harder for you and you probably have like 30 mental breakdowns because of it and then it all goes completely ignored???

or so many other dumb examples that make no sense
